Pretty fun place! I’ve been twice, one on my birthday and I had a blast, the DJ was playing great music and overall a great vibe. Second time it started good, but then a band started playing and to be honest it wasn’t music made for dancing, we didn’t like it and a lot of people started leaving, we came back like 2 hours later since every bar was full except this one, and the band finished and the DJ started playing pretty good music. I like the place, I’m not a fan of the live music, maybe because I’ve only seen one band and it was pretty bad, but I give it 4 stars overall

No good

Fantastic lively place in the evening and a great spot to enjoy the music until the early hours. Despite being busy the service at the bar was fast and the prices weren’t unreasonable, which given the prime location was fantastic. Had a fantastic night here and would return again for a night of partying!

booked a table three weeks in advance but when we showed up they told us that there was a miscommunication and there wasn’t space for us. we had to move the tables ourselves and it felt like the staff was over us. overall it was a huge mess of a situation.

Very neat Service and good prices.

Came here with friends. Got them to try the bitterballen and 5/6 loved it. We disowned the one who didnt. Had a good Belgium dark beer as there were no Dutch dark beers available.

Recommended to come here to have a great night out, with live music

This was truly an experience. The Music was amazing and it is open until 5am. Will definitely come back!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The security guard pushed my friend (a girl three times, really harshly, because he assumed she was too drunk due to a misunderstanding. We filed a police report about it and hopefully he will face consequences.

My boyfriend went here without me, so he probably enjoyed his time since he didnt text or call that evening 😒🤗

Nice staff, fast service and good price. Good option for drinks afterwork.

Good bar in Amstel

Great location near other bars and venues. Normal prices for Amsterdam and nice size of the venue. Also nicely accessible toilets. Space inside and outside.

Awesome place to have a good time

The almost 5 star rating is well deserved. Not much for food selections, but its an awesome place to just grab a drink and chill.

I was meeting my friends there and having drinks and all was fine. At some point they started to charge 5€ for entrance, so I paid to go to a toilet. When I was leaving the bouncer criticized my outfit, saying that I should not dress like that if I want to ever get in again. I like the place for its location and I’ve been there many times since I moved to Holland in 2015. But I believe this comment was as much inappropriate as it was unnecessary. The place is legendary, but if it keeps employing bigots I am not sure it will stand much longer.

They allow you to buy beer inside without any apps - but once you go inside to pee - they ask for the id. So even with CoronaCheck app you still cannot enter . Absolutely ridiculous- so bad treatment for own guests

Till 3 La Chouffes everything was alright. then we did shots and the world was a better place afterwards!

Overall a nice place but they really need to be more attentive when taking the orders. They brought me an alcoholic beer instead of a non-alcoholic and a mix of snacks instead of just nuggets I ordered. Also they split all their tables in half with windscreens and were trying to push 4 of us colleagues to sit on one side with almost 0 distance between us (not even close to 1.5 meters). So greedy and irresponsible!

The bar De Heren is located in the city center in the Rembrandtplein its a nice beer to drink local beers, to chill with friends and for afterwork drinks. On Friday evenings they have live music (local cover bands). The prices are very average Amsterdam prices.

Nice place. Usually not very crowded. A band can make or break the evening. Drinks are expensive and the beer glasses als smaller then other pubs. The bar is not as good as it used too be.

First barman was rude 2nd was lovely very helpful I think his name was sphen the helpful one the rude one was middle age.We only stoppee for few drinks and a snack. But overall clean, nice atmosphere shameful for the first member of staff we came across

Good bar to grab a beer after work nearby Rembrant plein. They are running a summer event with a redesigned terrace.

Great music, love it the band Altitude and the singer Andrew Laureth. Drink price is moderate and good ambience.

Love this place to pick up girls!!! Lot of Dutch people usually, everyone drunk and happy. Reasonable prices too!!!

For me as a tourist, it is a nice club. The music was a good mixture of black and top 40. The drinks were not too pricey and we hat a good night overall.

One of the best in Rembrandtplein area and for sure the cheapest! Good selections of beers, sometimes they pass by to offer free Dutch fried snacks. Both the inside and outside are nice, full of expats from the nearby offices.

This place is good for hanging out for a while having some beer. The atmosphere is kind of alternative and a little hippie. Not a place for posh people. There was live music and I upload a photo so that you can see, I have to say that the band was very rude, we tried to talk to them nicely, and all we got back from them were arrogant answers...

Great restaurant in Rembrandtplein. Keep in kind that it is always crowded. Good selection of beer and finger food. They have seating space outside as well as inside. Do note that it is always very crowded during the evenings.

It is a relatively cheap bar around rambrantplein. They have a good variety of beers. The bar also offer free storage for bags and coats, which is highly recommended because it is easy to leave it behind when it is so crowded.

Always the best place to be on a friday evening. Great atmosphere, quick coat check and wonderful staff. The snacks are a huge plus.

Nothing extra, its not even open every day. I only go there because my company gives 50% discount here. Better go to Cocos just across the road if you want to have fun. There is live music but people tend to leave when it starts (thus its not very good). Has good bitterballen!

Its quite weird, because this is probably the most local place among the touristy Rembrandtplein spots. They usually have live bands on Friday evenings and quite a cool vibe.
