Fun place to go especially if you love taking a photo or do selfie, if not ..forget about this place.Spent around 1-2 hours here, me and my kids did enjoy this place. We bought a bundle ticket which include 3 museum tickets ( De Mata 1 & 2, De Arcait cost around Rp 100.000 per person.The only downside is some of the 3D wallpapers need to be repaired, we can see that some of them start to peel off.

Ill give it 4 ⭐ just because there are only 2 sections open. I reaally enjoy my visit. Its so fun and the staffs are really kind and helpful. Definitely gonna visit it again and hopefull all the sections are open by then.

Mata Mata Museum? To tell you the truth, initially I was quite blur. It didnt strike my mind that Mata Mata Museum is gonna be flipping the coin to 3D Art Trick Museum in Solo until I stepped foot inside (Penang 3D Museum, Langkawi 3D Museum, Korea 3D Museum & Port Dickson Upside Down House). Duh! The usual picture posing and clicking and for putting your camera to full force which I felt I might as well. Already in Mata Mata Museum, what else should I do anyway? Unless, I would have joined the couple who opted to sit outside across the shops?

tickets IDR 30K/person (50K during holiday season). photographer available for IDR 120K/10shots. no charge if you take photos yourself with your own camera, but maybe a little bit difficult to find the right angle because the visual tricks of each spot.

A very inspiring and amazing museum. There are lots of photographic objects that are made as if they were real objects and we are in them. There are many unique photo creations that can be made in this museum. Each photo object is equipped with the best pose photo guide. But you can choose your own poses according to the creations and imagination.

Selfies paradise with lots of fun backdrops and friendly staffs to assist you. Very affordable price for entrance fee and taking studio style photos especially for students.

Its a cool place for photos in either 3D or 4D photos. One of the choices of tourist sites is to complement the existing tourist locations in Yogyakarta. Two thumbs up for De Mata 👍👍

Consist of 3 parts, those are de Mata, de Walik, and de Arca with. Ticket only 30.000 until 50.000. but if you buy combine ticket, you got price cheapper.

This place consist of 4 different type of amusement room/place. I only came to Dwalik, which is kinda up side down photo booth. This place is quite fun to make a unique experience with you family.

We chose on weekdays for visiting the museum. I think its a good idea because theres no many visitors. So, we can take some pictures more flexible and free. The price was cheaper for "terusan" tickets on weekdays compared on the weekend. Its 100K pr. Person.There is 4 different places: De Mata 1 & 2 De Arca, and Dwalik. De Mata concept is 3D, illution, and trick Eye with around 120 paintings. DArca concept is Statue of Super Heroes in the movies, the world leaders, Singer etc. But, some statue isnt right.DWalik concept is upside down.We had great fun and its worth it to spend our time to get different experience.we were really tired as we took many pictures.Thumbs up for the staffs whos in charge, because they were professional, nice and help to take many great photos for us ❤️

Though my kids seemed okay with the visual tricks, i myself not really enjoying the place. Too crowded, the tricks getting used to and smell like being inside the basement.

Fun place for family. Went here with only two of us. I found it hard to take a picture. Thankfully the staffs are super helpful, assisting you to take them good shots. Meanwhile I could never take the perfect picture myself.The diorama? The picture object? Its starting to wear out and showing its age.Nice to visit again

The idea is wonderful. When they show you 4 different venues that you can bundle, youd start to wonder, what are we taking these pictures for? Posts and likes? Dont be mistaken, we took all 4 venues, alright. We are, after all, the "kekinian" Indonesian :D

De Mata is worthed in a sense you are happen to be in Yogyakarta and out for photo sessions. Nice place, lots of backdrop sets

This is really a great place to have fun and taking some crazy pics. Its cheap... it costs only Rp. 30.000 or around $2.5 prolly. But come around 6.15 pm... on weekdays. The place would be yours. Because theres no one will be there. You wont be shy to pose and just be crazy... love it

Nice place for family holiday. The place is divided to 4 different area. Ticket price is average,and its divided to 2 range time per day for weekdays and weekend. It took 1.5 hours to take photos only at “walik” place. There are many staff which are kind,helpfull, and gave us the instructions how to pose at each booth to get the nice photos.

Great place for family sightseeing in Yogyakarta! There are 3 parts that can be visited in connection with the ticket price is relatively cheap. They have a lot of staff who are always ready to help shoot your camera.The museum is pretty good but must be a lot of improvisation specially The placement of 3D painting impressed impose the room, part of the statue Size there is less ideal / not in accordance with the posture traced.Maybe in this case need more attention, if they want to make standard performance like Madame Tussaud-style museum!

Come to this place while i waited 4 my departure time at noon on Oct, 2015. Was with my two dearest buddy and been tried all the trick eye art pictures for fun. Its been an amazing experiences with family and friends.They latest eye tricks always entertain us all.I came again last March 2018 this time with my lovely little family. My boys loved to acted like they on it. At first they afraid becoz of the zombie and mummy but when they entered the place they forgot all about it and enjoyin themself.

I Love all 3D and 4 D art of eye trick / camera trick here. Last time i just visit Dmata I. Also available Dmata II for 4D, Darca for character statue and DWalik for special room decorate with top down side reverse. Hahah. So funny here

There are dmata 1, dmata 2, which have 170 pic of 3D art, 4D art, and 3 art of mirror kaleidoscope, theres also have Dwalik which you can see an upside down of some places such as bedroom, classroom, garage, etc. And not just that, they have darca as well, which is you can see many statue of candle of people or avenger like hulk, ironman, etcEach place cost around Rp. 50k or you can buy the continue tiket for Rp. 140k and you can enjoy all of them.If you cant get the pic yourself, you may ask the employees for free. They are very nice and friendly.But, you better check for the time, they close around 4p. m, so you better be careful not to waste your time or ticket.

Nice place for teenagers or emak2 narsis. There are a lot of zones with unique background and also action figure to take pictures. Selfie, wefie, you can take everything everywhere. And to take beautiful photos, watch out your shoot angle. For kids? Not recommended if they do not like to be photographed or narsis. Because they will get bored, as soon as possible. But still I like this place.

You can find many 3d background here. For teenagers it will be fun. But for people more than 50, it is not recommended. The picture is fine, the place is fine. Nothing to do more than take pictures. The children likes the dinosaur, but they are afraid the ghost picture

Arca means statue. Inside this museum, we can see statues of famous people from past to present, Indonesian heroes, Indonesia leaders, other countrys leaders, Holliwood celebrities, movies figures and others. They are amazing!!!Different from De Mata and De Walik, De Arca Museum gives us enough space in each studio/statue so we do not need to be afraid of being disturbed by other visitors when taking the pictures.Enjoy De Arca. this place is cool, there are lots of spots to take pictures. you simply spend Rp50.000 per person then you can enjoy the facility.

A museum that provides four different galleries to explore. First and second galleries provide you hundreds of 3d pictures. The third provides upside-down/illusion rooms. While the last is a gallery of sculptures. The ticket costs Rp35.000-Rp40.000/gallery depends on the hour. You need to pay for each of the gallery but if you want to enter all of them the ticket will be cheaper. A great and strategic place to visit in Yogyakarta. It will be better if the employees can understand English.

De mata provide u 3d eye trick pictures, while de arca shows statue of national heroes(indonesia), superheroes, international artist, famous people, nation leaders and many more

Great place to visit in Jogjakarta. Just make sure, the ticket box is closed 1 hour before the closing time.Thank you for Mr. Xxx that allow us to visit 3D trick eye museum even though it was late, we had great time and fond memory to share.
