Awesome spot where you can also see lake Michigan, from the Evanston Illinois perspective. Its kind of cool to have a pond right near one of the Great lakes! Its also beautiful as its on the bike path / jogging path/walking path/path along the lake Great Michigan...

Came to this park at sunrise for a bike race and it’s a beautiful park. Being by the lake and being able to walk around the large park was a great experience!

Great duck and goose pond on the shore of lake Michigan. Lots of seating and shade. Perfect for a picnic.

Nice park beside lake nearby downtown Evanston. There is a small pond with fountain. Few benches. Nice area to walk around during evening.

STUNNING park with easy, free parking right by the lake, nice walking trails, good cell service, and a little beach. You can even see the skyline in the distance. Nice place to park our RV for a few hours and just relax.

Nice park in downtown Evanston to chill and hangout at when its nice outside.

Being in the huge garden, sometimes feel boring. The pond gives a few moments of fun. We can see duck families.

Do love this park. Nice for walks and to see the ducklings grow into ducks.

Its a nice walking path, but it can get extremely crowded there.

Wonderful park for a morning walk or run as the sun comes up over the lake. Plenty of benches to sit and relax or have a conversation.

Very relaxing place to go to relax ,read or just have fun with friends and family. Very clean park and great city view . Even dog friendly as well

The birds here are very welcoming. They dont make you feel fear, or give off an intimidating vibe. The grass is all perfectly even. Every blade. Every time. Seamless. You do have to pay for the beach which is a huge disappointment as a beach should be free to the public. Maybe thats why their birds were pretty okay.

Love this park! People climb on rocks anyway but there are slides for the kids, a beach nearby, grass, benches to sit, and a pond with ducks.

I love this park. Its right along the lake, east of downtown Evanston. Always peaceful to get some fresh air or go for a nice jog around the Lakeshore.

Lovely lake side park right by Northwestern. Did the North Shore Century, saw some crazy things and blew a spoke!

Beautiful and relaxing park, bustling with walkers, joggers, bikers, loungers, boaters and sun worshipers. We walked here every day from our hotel less than one mile away, and spent hours walking and sitting. Lovely place.

Picnic tables were sticky from people spilling drinks. My wife & I wanted to have a nice picnic on Wednesday afternoon but the park had alot of garbage. Really distasteful.

It was my first time biking up and around Evanston and I discovered this little park and area on the lake. It was lovely!

Evanston is finally fixing the boat ramp properly. After 52 years of being a permit holder and leaving for 8 years it is starting to look and be able to operate better.

Great park with views of Lake Michigan, plenty of shade, a nice little pond with fountains, and access to a beach dog park and pier. Very nice and relaxing. Restrooms available.

Simply beautiful.

Visited the park for International Fair Trade and it was awesome to have all kinds of business get together as well as music performances in different stages. They park is clean and calm to enjoy a walk or jog around the park. Will come back to enjoy once it starts getting warmer.

Beautiful park alongside Lake Michigan! Perfect area for any type of leisure activities you like, whether it be barbecuing, reading a book, tanning, walking, flying a kite, running, cycling, etc. My visits here are mostly while cycling, but i have ran a turkey trot at this park location. As i get more familiar with Evanston; this will be one of my normal turnaround points while cycling, and would love to park my car here for a run in the general area in the future.The views of the Lakefront are amazing! Along with the views of Arrington Lagoon! Very gorgeous at all times of the day, but the real beauty of it is in the morning and evenings; sunrise and sunset. You pick which one, but youre missing out if you havent seen any of the two yet.Enjoy!Thomas G
