The Dataran is for the public, no fee. We went right after sunset when the sky was so full of drama and heavy rain was ready to pour on us which made the place out of this world!

Visited this public square back in March. ataran Warisan Taiping is the main public square of Taiping. I passed this place a few times because I needed to get food everyday due to the MCO. Theres a touristy I Love Taiping heart sculpture, plus some important civic buildings around the square.

Love to roller blades, skateboarding or riding on a battery powered vehicles? This is the place to bring your children to. But dont worry..parents too can feast their eyes and purses on the flea markets and eateries there. Although the parade in question are only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nites. Great place to watch football on the giant screen at the nearby kedai mamak too.

Got night market here and good place to relax with family, can play rollerblade and other game with your family

Nostalgia at its best. Brings back memories of the yesteryears. Great for both local and foreign tourists irrespective. Also for family bonding or bromance/sisterhood gatherings. Well taken care of by the Town Council. Awesome! Park nearby and take a walk to enjoy the sights and beautiful surroundings. You will never regret it. Who knows, you may work up an appetite later when you get to try out the Taiping food hunt.

As a Taipings born citizen, Im proud to have this kind of place to hang out with friend (but please put your phone aside), to have a cozy conversation. There have Land And District Office and Taiping Municipal Council building that withness lots of historical event. Do bare in mind to bring your own garbage bag, please be a responsible visitors. The tax payers money is not just to pay the garbage collectors salary only. Please keep our historical town together.

This buildings were built during the British Rule. Now still mentained by the Malaysian Government. This town called Taiping is said to be for retiries to settle down. The lake Garden is so beautiful by the side of the building. This lake has urned it name by being the most 3 cleanest lake in the world.

The historical place where the British empire was at the peak and our precious metal@ Tin ore was dug till the new generation dont what the material is all about....

Good place for hipsters

Location in middle of the old town. Lots of stall and became center of family activities until midnite. Cons, kids still allowed to be around nd active even after 10 pm to 2 am.

Good place for kids but it is very expensive to rent a bicycle...

This was the first office that I was stationed at when I started working. The building has been gazzetted as a heritage site and is maintained as such. It was a walk down memory lane. There are many other attractions in this heritage town of Taiping. One that should not be missed is the Taiping Lake Garden. On a lucky day, I was memsmerized by the blossoming of bunga teratai/lotus flower. It is easily my favourite flower.

Nothing much really during the day, just ordinary vacant space & parking. Probably quite lively at night & during festivities held there. Main attraction was definitely selfie corner, the LOVE TAIPING sign. Although it needed cleaning & maintaining.

A great place for night activities. But it is very very hot and the traffic at night will be bad. There are stalls beside too and theres also a nearby Mamak stall for your tummy! A lot of activities that can be carried out over there. You can rent a hoverboard, electric powered toy car and so on. But do be careful not to fall. Its only an attraction at 9pm onwards.

Badly planned and managed by previous Gov. New government please do something sustainable and non environmental damaging. They operate stalls till late night with loud music, which is nuisance to surrounding residents.

Lively activities during night time! A lot if activities you can do esp if u bring along your kids or partner.

An open-air hangout place for the locals to chill, kids to skate/play, hawkers to sell their wares or just idle away time in the evenings. A landmark site where most of the cultural/sports events happen and therefore easy to get to.

Before of this is a MPT garden with fountain. But now into a square for public use. I can see some playing roller skates around there at night, walking around, chit chat, and so on. Then morning will turns into car park.

This is Taiping Square located between two government building. It becomes car park in the daytime while it turns to be a roller skater fun party in the evening. You will be surprised when you see a 5-years old little girl is doing smooth turning XD XD
