Dar Dadicilef Hostel in Chefchaouene

El Riad es precioso, el personal amable a más no poder. El desayuno buenísimo en ese precioso jardín. Buenísima energía.Todo muy mágico escuchando la llamada al rezo por la noche.Repetiremos sin duda.

Un riad-hotel cuidado al detalle y muy acogedor. Está en un callejoncito de la Medina de Chefchaouen y no te imaginas lo que te vas a encontrar hasta que no traspasas la puerta. Es una maravilla. El dueño del hotel y su hijo, muy amables y atentos a que no te falte de nada. El desayuno muy rico y variado. Volveremos.

I never gave a 5 star rewiev, but this place totally deserves it. Everything was fine, from the location to the hospitality to the building itself. Perfect stay

Precioso Dar en el corazón de la medina. Muy bonito, cómodo y accesible. Todo azulito en concordancia con el pueblo. El personal muy amable y el desayuno delicioso. Repetiría!

The hostel is kinda nice but the owners are really bad at management we book our room for one nights we paid cash and we left our Luggage and we went out until 21.00 pm then we decide to go back and rest and they surprised us that our room is cancelled and he offer us to pass the night in a square small room with loads of luggage for unfair price.So make sure that your room is not already booked 😉.i just wanna add that the hostel close at 23.30 or 00.00 as maximum 🤷🏻‍♂️ if youre welling to pass the night out its not your place.

Beautiful stay in Chaouen! We spent there two nights. I truly recommend it

Létablissement est idéalement situé, à deux pas de la grande place. Les chambres sont très bien aménagées et le décor est magnifique. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et le réceptionniste est serviable et sympathique. Un incontournable à Chefchaouen.

A comfortable place to stay for us as a family with two kids. We had two bed rooms. Abdul our host was wonderful. The location is just perfect in the medina within minutes from the main square. Breakfast was great. Parking is close by. The best experience in an amazing city!

Great time, awesome hostel!

Everything was amazing. Do not hesitate to book a place there. Owner Abdo is so kind and helpful. He is the best Moroccan guy we met during our tour in country! He left breakfast for us as we had to leave early in the morning. His recommendation "Clock" cafe was also perfect.

This is a truly unique place! A former traditional house that was turned into a beautiful guest house. Nicely decorated, with comfortable beds abd a good shower. Owner spoke good English and was really friendly and helpful.Had a great time here and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Chefchaouene

I stayed in Dadicilef on November 2021, The riad is just perfect, rooms are clean, Dad and son team were so kind and helpful, I loved the calm antique environment in the riad and loved more the fantastic back yard with the huge avocado tree. I would prefer visit Chaouen on summer to enjoy the stay in the yard as on november the weather was so cold.Highly recommend for a special experience like in the classic old stories.

Amazing . I had such a wonderful time staying here . The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. The house is so pretty and the rooftop is relaxing and spacious. Breakfast is filling and delicious!The father and son duo are the sweetest of hosts. So kind and sincere. If I didn’t have a dad I loved dearly I would of asked to be adopted .I highly recommend staying here .

Super nice place in the historic town. The room was pretty and clean and the common areas were great (specially the garden and the rooftop). Abdul was really friendly and useful, it was a pleasure talking to him. Breakfast was very good as well. A fantastic place for a cheap price.

Lovely. Very attentive and kind staff, strikingly cleaner and more welcome than anywhere ive been in Morocco. Breakfast was great, so was the views and the rooms. Special shout out to the details of the doors and ceilings and the terrace where breakfast could be served. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was very stylish and clean.

Loved it there! The owner and his son are the nkcest people on earth! So caring and helpful! The location was perfect with everything being super close. It was clean and the breakfast was really yummy! I can only recommend everyone to stay at this hostel!

Amazing place

This place is being run by an ambitious young man called Abdoul and his father. They are both really nice. You can communicate in spanish, english, french and arabic. Hostel is a typical old style Moroccan house with a patio, high ceilings and of course with a terrace. We had the double room next to terrace i believe it is the best one in the hostel :Compare to other ones in city center quality is much better, as well the price. I am glad to meet these gents and have a chat about Morocco in general and about life. Saludos from Malaga!

We did not have a great time in this guest house (it’s not an hotel, do not be fouled by the title), despite the place is very cold, two rooms doesn’t not offer hot water nor solution to the client. Indeed the manager, who sounds to be stoned 24/7 did not suggest any solution for us nor discount. He just said « the owner do not want to change anything, please comment on trip advisor or contact the owner ». This is not appropriate at all.Also knowing that this is a guest house and not an hotel, this is too expensive.Avoid this place unless you like cold shower..If I could put 0 star, I would have...

Quite little hotel in the heart of the blue city. The rooms are beautiful with ancient decor and basic amenities. There was hot water 24/7 and the cold could be bearable with the help of a heater. The room price we paid for a night was only around €25 and this even included breakfast. Breakfast was wholesome with unlimited tea, coffee and some muffins, bread, fresh orange juice. Due to rains we stayed indoors in the evening and played some board games and cards. The fire place made is cosy too. Highly recommend!

Lovely place and very welcoming hosts. Be warned that during the cold months the hostel gets very cold. Blankets and a heater are provided however we still had a very chilly stay.Apart from that its in a very central location (about 5min walk from the main square), good breakfast and lovely views to the Atlas Mountains from the terrace.

Abdul is Great ! Friendly, helpful, a fountain of knowledge of what to do, where to eat and anything else you might need to know.I would highly recommend a stay and would definitely return. Rooms and terrace areas are so well done. Perfect!

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our recent stay at Dar Dadicilef. Abdool, the host, was incredibly kind and gracious. The hostel has several accommodation options, including private rooms. The natural airflow of this traditional riad home keeps the interior temperature comfortable. The upper terrace is a great place to relax with a view of Chefchaouen and the nearby mountains. Staying right in the medina is convenient. Excellent food at Bab Ssour is only 60 seconds away. Highly recommended!

Beautiful spot run by two absolutely charming men. They could not be more helpful. The place is calm and clean with a stunning two tiered roof terrace.

Had by far one of the best stays of my life at this hostel. I was blown away by the hosts hospitality, from the breakfast to their willingness to talk us through what to do and how to do it in Chefchaouen. Although the bathroom could be a bit more private for the first floor, and the shower use some work, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Amazing price for a very nice stay. AND THE BREAKFAST

Magnificent

Fantastic experience. Could not have asked for a nicer, friendly, more helpful host. Really made us feel welcome and genuinely cared that we have the best experience possible- both at the hostel itself and in Morocco in general. Very clean hostel, lovely atmosphere, delicious breakfast, great views from the roof. Like everything in the medina, it can be hard to find, but the location is very central and it is well signed. Would highly recommend!

The coolest host in chaoen

Great atmosphere with best in class Riad feeling downstairs. The Riad also has two terraces on the top with great views to the mountains and city. Friendly staff always there to help you with whatever needed. Highly recommended.

I love Dadicilef so much! One of the best hostels Ive been: everything is beautiful, well decorated, clean and the hosts are really nice and helpful. The price is really good too and the breakfast is delicious. Thats why I always come back there when I go to Chefchaouen :)

We stayed there on Feb 11-12. The hotel is ok, but the manager was terrible. I tried to stop his party noise after 10:30pm. He refused and said Fxxx word to me twice. When I wanted to call police, he refused to provide police phone number and hold my arm twice. He never said a single word "sorry". Instead, he said he did not care whatever I posted any comment for it.
