One of the most beautiful places crossed by the Danube!Fairytale scenery, especially if you visit the whole area, including if you climb the mountain path, to see the panorama over the whole area - you will feel that you are flying over the big river.

We took a wonderful boat ride with Mr. Sorin Costescu(from Croaziere km13 on facebook): a great guide with over 20 years of experience! He knows the history of the entire area, has images and materials to share, takes his time to entertain the group, not just a speedy ride to get you back on land in 15 mins like most of the boats offering services out there. You can take shorter tours of about 1h.30 - 2h or the longer version 7h-8h all the way to beautiful Ostrov Island where you see the wild horses in their habitat and enjoy a nice meal at Egreta Complex. Prices are pretty much the same, but a good guide makes a difference for sure.

We had a beautiful experience, but it sure helped having also the best guide!

At Danube Big Boilers Ive enjoyed the gorgeous mountain scenery surrounding me, all the historical places and easily navigable channel. *****

Most beautiful view to the Danube river

The place is amazing. Beside the absolutely breathtaking landscapes, the food was great and the housing was cheaper than I expected. I would love to return.

I went here in the summer of 2020 to enjoy some nature. The views and the story are stunning. Its worth a visit, and also you cand stay for a few days as there are many good accomodations around. Will go back for sure. Overall, awesome place!

One of the most beautiful parts of the river Danube. It is worth to walk to the view point. Amazing view. You will feel here that how small the man is comparing to the nature.

It is worth viziting. You have to take a boat from "Clisura Dunarii", its less than 10 euros per person, and go visit the great boilers and some caves in the area. If its cold outside, or rainy, you have to be well dressed because its even colder on the water.

Theres a great place to travel! Take a boat tour, it takes on average 3 hours and you will enjoy the amazing view!

Fabulously beautiful place, beats even the Wachau and the German Danube territories in terms of beauty, but of course, the tourism infrastructure is quite awkward and still very much in its infancy - hopefully this will change over the next years
