Great place where you can eat well and drink something good. The beautiful surroundings of flowers, greenery and the noise of the nearby Are, work wonders 😁👍🥰

Interesting menue. On week days they have two main courses to choose from, vegetarian or non-vegetarian. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is good.I will definitely visit again.Cheers

Rude service from the waiter Abu.When we told him that we expected a larger choice of dishes he asked us to leave the table quickly because he needs the table for other clients, that was è es really rude because we were still finishing our drinks.

Very pleasant place. The food was ok.

Only went to grab a beer here, a bottle of 33cl was 7.90 - quite the shocker.

We passed by for a snack and a drink, had a really friendly waitress and some good food! Beautiful place, beautiful restaurant! ✌🏼

Great place to rest during a hot summer day. Its right next to the Aare! The food is good and reasonably priced.

Location is nice, cosy place but don’t go here if you want quality food - it’s ‘meh’, not so fresh, heated up, and pretty expensive for what you get. Panna cotta was very bad, not like a panna cotta should be. Service is not thoughtful at all (getting the wine only after half of the meal was finished already), but friendly.

nice restaurant right next to the aare. great classic swiss food. in the summer make sure you get a table in the garden!

Liked the food, it was good albeit a bit salty. Service was good and location was good too.All in all, we had a great meal. Definitely would recommend!

Best location next to the best river in the world to have i.e. Flammkuchen with some good wine after a swimm (dressed properly though ;-)

Location is great but food is very average. Wants to sound sophisticated bit it s not as that. Go there and have drink or a small dish but I dont advice the main course. They lack of characters.

Could be the place to be on the Aare but the maybe too pricey for its limited or fancy menu. Please put the Flammkuchen back on the menu! It wasnt on the menu but we asked and accommodated for us - lovely! Felt bad for the chef as several other tables then asked.Would be a place I would come back to time and time again for cocktails and Flammkuchen (and 5*s if this is the case)

The place is amazing and in a really good location. But the service is really rude, in fact, we leave the restaurant because of the waitress.

Worst service ever! There was a piece of plastic in my dish. I informed the waitress and she didnt even bother to answer me.

I came here with my sis and we both thought the food was superb and the personnel were great. Didnt wait around long to be offered, meal arrived promptly. Service was fantastic and completely enjoyed the meals, will be coming back. Very interesting menu, getting excited about coming back to try even more dishes. Went for a causal dinner, really happy with price, good value for money.

Dampfzentrale a Wonderful restaurant near fast flowing river Aare with Great food delicious Beer and friendly people together with the particular relaxed Bern ambiente the world may dont know yet.(I can really recommend a swim in the river. Only good swimmers)

Upd: something changes and not for the better. Nothing in today s menu could catch the eye. Days special beef steak for 42.- im sorry, for something rare as deer meat that was a tolerable price, but just for a peace of meat..Walking away hungry.Orig: A totally wonderful place. Apologies for the previous review, it was some glitch of google.An amazing restaurant, this marrow meal from the picture is a hammer. Maybe things might seem a bit salty but thats just cos you have to grab your vodka - and then the harmony arrives. Hit this place totally at random, and positively astonished with results.Location rocks, design might seem queer, but well - its a steam factory... And the food totally pays it all.

The restaurants location is really beautiful and the draft beer they serve (Zwickelis tasty. So I can recommend the place for having a drink.However, we went there for dinner, and that wasnt a very pleasant experience: they messed up our reservation, so we had to find a free table; it took quite a while until someone came to take our orders; 2 minutes later (sic!our meals arrived, while our drinks hadnt even been served - faster than at McDonalds ;-- the aubergines with rice were okay, but spiced rather dull. The Red Ruby cocktail tasted like pure Campari.

No customer service and very unfriendly. Never again. Location is perfect but waited over an hour for our food a few times and manager had *no time* to come over to us

Great place to hold your event. In this former industrial building, the atmosphere has lots of class and nostalgia. Very friendly staff and great food make for a nice lunch or dinner!

Good food, awesome location but service is slow. I asked for the water for my dog from 3 different waitress and finally had to get it myself after half hour waiting.

Decent disco - not so crowded, however the crowd had average age of 50 years when i was there (maybe depending on a party type, i am not sure)

Cool use of an old coal power plant. We caught a free electronic music show. They trust you with glasses rather than plastic cups of wine and beer.

Very good food - incredibly bad service!We got a table in the very back, next to a garbage bin that smelled like cadaver. When we asked the staff to remove it or give us another table, nothing happend for a long time. We then independently changed to a table at the bar and never heard an excuse. Something I dont tolerate twice for a restaurant of this price class. Its a shame for the excellent food and the lovely place!
