Hat ehrlich gesagt gar nichts mit Shawarma zu tun es reichen 2 Sterne

While on a cycling trip we were looking for a good, flavourful dinner close to our hotel. Both dinners (#1 and #2were delicious. The restaurant was simple, but adequate and very clean. The staff were friendly anc helpful.

Das Essen war gut, habe Hähnchen Grillteller mit Salat bestellt, NUR mit Salat und habe leider wenig Salat bekommen. Ich finde die Portion klein irgendwie. Aber trotzdem hat gut das Hähnchen geschmeckt.

Für das „Shawarma“ nur 2 Sterne.Es war geschmacklich ok, hat nur leider wenig mit shawarma zu tun da es einfach eine Yufka war. Habe nichts von orientalische Gewürzen oder Knoblauch gemerkt.Schade

Sehr authentisches und schmackhaftes arabisches Essen. Optimierungsbedarf gibt es beim Personal, teilweise mangelt es an Freundlichkeit. Oftmals sind die Herren auch nicht wirklich dienstleistungsorientiert.

Jedesmal wenn ich ohne Tomaten bestelle, bekomme ich mit Tomaten. Wenn ich eine Allergie hätte wäre das richtig blöd. Das Essen ist allerdings so super lecker, dass man immer wieder hingeht.

Geschmacklich fand ich die Falafel wirklich super, auch wenn sie leider nur lauwarm war. Preislich auch angemessen.Hygienetechnisch muss ich mich manch anderen Rezensionen hier leider anschließen, die Hände werden vor der Zubereitung des Essens (direkter Kontakt mit Brotnicht gewaschen. Davor und danach wird Geld und was auch immer noch angefasst. Aus meiner Sicht ein No Go.

Alles sehr lecker und frisch zubereitetes Essen zum fairen Preis. Wird nie langweilig.

I have done take out twice and so far I am impressed with the quality and the taste of the food, a really excellent experience. Good selection of meals and beverages - the mixed spiess platter is my absolute favorite as the meat is tender and juicy. There is a small seating area inside the restaurant, but there are no toilets inside and the payment is possible only with cash. Visited in May 2022.

The hygiene, taste, and price are much better than others in this area. The dessert of the day are always fresh and different everytime I went. Staffs are friendly.

Einfach nur noch eine reine Enttäuschung!!Service:Die Lustlosigkeit der Mitarbeiter ist nicht mehr zu übertreffen. Gastfreundlichkeit bzw Service ist hier anscheinend ein Fremdwort geworden!Essen:Falafel waren kalt und die Theke nicht sauber worauf gearbeitet wurde.Mitarbeiter tragen keine Handschuhe, fassen aber persönliche Dinge wie Smartphone oder Geld an und danach wieder das Essen wie BrotFür Vegane sowie Fleisch Gerichte benutzen diese die gleiche Zange was ein absolutes NO-GO ist.Wenn man diese darauf hinweist verstehen die darunter kein Problem.Nie wieder!

Geheimtipp in Mainz ‼️Bisher meine besten Falafel hier in Mainz beim Damaskus Grill gegessen! Humus war auch sehr gut. Bei taboule hat mir persönlich ein wenig Säure gefehlt, aber Zitrone ist schnell drüber geträufelt. DAMASKUS ein muss bei jedem Mainz Besuch. Die anderen Gerichte sahen auch sehr vielversprechend aus...

Wir haben zum ersten Mal dort gegessen und uns den Klassiker shawarma bestellt. Sehr lecker, Gemüse war frisch und Fleisch sehr gut gewürzt nicht fettig.Kann ich absolut empfehlen sehr gute Qualität

Das Essen schmeckt wirklich super.Die shawarma als auch falafel sind zu empfehlen!Kleiner aber sehr feiner Laden.Ist bisher immer sauber gewesen und man sieht auch hinter der Theke wie gearbeitet wird.Das Essen schmeckt immer konstant gut.Zu bemängeln gibt es da nichts.Ich gehe gerne da essen.

The food is not fresh. The staff are on some days unfriendly. The prices are good, the place is small, but you can find a place to sit most of the time. They also have now air conditioning, which can be very appealing in summer.

Love the place. I frequently eat here. Love the rice and chicken curry or the biriyani of this place. Also love the chicken liver shawarma they make here. The food here is really cost effective and value for money.
