Restaurant is still open in damascus. They move from four season hotel to near Japanese embassy in abu rumaneh area. Menu is variety. Taste is good. Quality of fresh ingredients is standard. Service is good. Need reservations for grup or in dinner time

Damaskus is a fantastic city, but quite loud and a bit messy. Though it is as big as Munich, there are not so many high class restaurants around as in Germany (so many Syrian people come to Germany these days). This is definitely one of the better restaurants. What could be better? In Germany, you would have a larger joice of (alcohilicbeverages and the sushi at many places even would be more high class.
