Dal Borghese - bistrot dopolavoro - in Vatican City

We had lunch here in Jan 2018.The food was good and they had nice staff.I had Pasta carbonara (perfect- al dente).

If you want rude waiters, your food practically thrown down then this is the place to eat. So obviously didnt like the English as next table were Americans and they were treated like royalty

Over priced and under performed. The service was good but the food was average at best... the 10€ for a piece of flat bread with processed turkey meat was less than filling. 4.50€ for a small Coke Zero....

Nice quiet, shady spot out of the sun next to a square. Pleasant staff. Not _too_ expensive given the location.

Not bad, but can be better... The steak is not something you want to eat there for example. Or ham in the prosciutto and melone it is simply not the best ham you can find in Italy... It would take so little for a small improvement

A sweet little cafe/bistro we found. Good service but our choices were restricted due to the time - sandwiches were not available but panini was. At €10 per head for coffee and panini the food was the quality youd expect - edible but not special.

Do you want to feel like another annoying piece of sh1t? Try these "restaurant"! Poor quality of everything, rude staff, different prices for non-Italians, cook, who does not see difference between scrambled eggs and omelet.We got only two menus (for 5 people), waiter the waiter constantly forgot us as well as on our orders. Locale carino ben posizionato, con vista sulla piazzetta, vicino la Facoltà di Architettura. Mi sono seduto 5 minuti fuori a un tavolino. Ho preso un cappuccino e una fetta di torta alla marmellata di limone al prezzo di 9€. Mi sembra un po caro....

Worst experience ever. Robbery. Charged €16 for three coffees and they ended shouting at us when we asked for the price breakdown.

Pequeño restaurante con personal muy amable, los platos que nos pedimos eran bastante sabrosos y sobre todo muy abundantes. A destacar el pan, untado en aceite, delicioso.

Food is alright and the service is amiable, but lacking: they brought vinegar instead of olive oil, we were served soup but forgot to bring a spoon. The vegetable soup was good but definitely not made from fresh vegetables. Pizza was really good.Another thing to note is that the drinks were more expensive than usual: 6.5 € a beer, 8€ Aperol.

Meraviglioso!! Ho girato tanti locali a Roma in centro ma come Dal Borghese non mi ero mai trovata e stata accolta così bene! Pietanze fresche e squisite, vini di ottima qualità, personale superlativo e soprattutto onesti anche nei prezzi!! (Cosa difficile da trovare in giro per Roma...Tappa obbligatoria sicuramente! Lo consiglio vivamente e sicuramente ci tornerò 👏👏👏

Il posto giusto a qualunque ora della giornata: colazione pranzo aperitivo.... Offerta ampia e piccole chicche da scoprire con il palato, compresi i vini, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo atmosfera piacevole e tranquilla e personale disponibile e professionale... Frequento spessissimo questo posto continuerò a farlo: ti senti a casa e vieni trattato con molta accuratezza... Grazie a tutto lo staff, il grande Carlo, l attentissimo Pino ma in particolare agli insostituibili Alessandro e Vincenzo che con il loro modo di fare rendono il Borghese un posto diverso e speciale rispetto ai tanti locali della zona.

Abbiamo festeggiato un compleanno al Bistrot Borghese, tutto veramente impeccabile. Servizio dello staff ottimo e cortese, aperitivo abbondante e saporito e drink ben fatti. Ritornerò.

We got talked into this place by their cute kid on the street... terrible mistake. 2 star food, NOT authentic Italian. I immediately had terrible food poisoning.

Nice restaurant tucked away in a quiet area of Rome. A welcomed oasis of good food and wine.

Food was microwaved and cold in the middle. I would recommend avoiding this place completely

Tucked away from Via del Corso is this bistrot with delicious servings. I had pizza diavola and spaghetti allo scoglio paired with a glass of red from Puglia.

Posticino intimo e discreto, personale simpatico e gentile. Prezzi nella norma.Un ottimo luogo dove prendere un caffè tranquilli a due passi dallara pacis, nella splendida piazzetta difronte Palazzo Borghese.

Pino gives great advice on food options, which were good value for money! Try the avocado salad!

Great place for morning coffee and cornetto. We made this place our daily start for the 7 days we were in Rome.

Friendly place where you can have delicious cappuccinos in the morning, and great drinks and snacks with friends later in the evening. Professional service and all their employees were very helpful with the tourists. I definitely recommend this place if you are around Rome.

Buone proposte di cibo ad un prezzo però davvero caro. 6,50 € per una Peroni da 66 cl sono prezzi esosi, dato che la Peroni a loro costerà sì e no 0,80 cent. Peccato anche per la toilette unisex, che obbliga la clientela a file interminabili nelle ore affollate.

Great attention, delicious pizza, pasta and everything

Didnt have to wait to be seated and it was in a relatively quiet piazza very close to the Ara Pacis. Ordered a beef hamburger with vegetables and recieved a beef patty with cooked potatoes and spinich, not what I expected but the patty was some of the best hamburger meat Ive had in my life and the potatoes were delicious. Polite staff who spoke enough English to order my meal with no miscommunication on my behalf.
