Dairy Queen in El Dorado

Very good food. Love the fries and onion rings. Its no longer a Dairy Queen though, we came there thinking it was still a Dairy Queen and its not. Very similar though, it is now called Sluggers and is baseball themed. Be careful on the tall seats, you can very easily fall getting off of them. They dont have a sign anymore so its not easy to tell its no longer a DQ without walking in or looking in the windows. They do have ice cream cakes and ice cream. Again its very similar to Dairy Queen and is pretty similar in pricing as well. Pretty good food though and highly recommended, especially if youre going across the street to watch some baseball.

Me and my family would come here every so often and grab some ice cream, so sad to see that it is now closed. Would prefer dq over braums anyday.

Over all, things were pretty good. Loud kids at the time. Cook didnt look to happy. But I get it. Food was still good and filling. Cook exceeded at doing a good job. Pretty happy I know a dairy Queen that still makes actual food and not just ice cream! Services from register were just as good as the meals we ordered. Thank you eldorado dairy Queen! Stopped in for a bit of icecream treats and ran into really nice people in the store, explained multiple options and just plain friendly.

Horrible they took forever and then when I asked for ranch to her face front lady just stood there. And handed us the food horrible service decent food.

The original Blizzard masters. Others may have their Flurries or Candy Bar Mixes, but they dont... Mix... Up the menu much. Dairy Queen does. Their current summer lineup is splendid. One time I caught em handing it to me right side up, and they refunded my money. Ive watched em like a hawk since, but theyre too well trained to repeat the blunder. Ive had their food, but dont have strong feelings about it. I suppose Im more Chill than Grill.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They are a bit pricy and a little careless about packing orders, leaving things out of "to go" orders.

Worst customer service! Would give zero stars if I could. Hateful and very disrespectful needs a big change before we or our family ever come back.We had ordered a ice cream cupcake with the name of our young niece on it for a family tradition we have had them due for us the past four years. And the lady we ordered it from said yes of course we can it would only take a minute to make. So we paid and said we would be in later to pick it up. When our friend got there to pick it up they said there was no order for us they ended up leaving and we called to see why it wasn’t ready ( we called five times before anyone answeredand the lady who finally answered was very very rude she not only said we can’t make that but we won’t she argued repeatedly saying they won’t make it so we demanded a refund. Even though we had already paid over the phone and the other girl said they would have it ready? This has been the worst customer service experience we have ever had I do not recommend coming here!!

Best customer service in El Dorado. Called in a large family order for 5 people.. food is always perfect and they always get all the food right. They even helped me too my car. Even when training new people... 10 out of 10. Thanks dairy queen

Try calling there number during business hours , I like the food here but its literally impossible to get a carry out order because no one answers the phone and theres no drive thru, if you dont mind going inside its not bad. Last time I tried calling for several minutes and no one answered so I went inside to ask and they told me the phones were down, I pulled out my phone and called right in front of them and it started ringing lol they looked shocked. Better management is a must have at this location

The last few times Ive been it was just subpar. The service was friendly but the food was okay, usually just lukewarm. In addition, this location refuses to make blizzards correctly which is extremely frustrating. You cant flip them upside down or they spill everywhere, kind of ruining the point of getting a thick, creamy treat, as they are super thin. I probably wont be back, youre better off going to another fast food location for food.

Very nice staff today... they gave my daughter extra wip topping no charge cause she seen what I had and wanted her ice cream like mine and staff at dq just did it for her so she be happy. Its the little things.

We ordered a combo meal but wanted to upgrade the drink to a shake. We would have paid the difference like so many places allow but we were told no, we would have to buy a separate shake or pay for each item separately. Ill just go to the other places next time.

Brought a crew of 11 and other than no longer serving coffee they were speedy and friendly and everyone was happy.

The ElDorado Dairy Queen is a really great place to eat and/or just get ice cream. My wife and I prefer the "old school" crunch cone. I really like the dogs and burgers. The fries are fresh and hot upon receipt. You can usually get chocolate ice cream on Wednesday & Thursday. Enjoy!!!

Was not able to earn points on my app, no longer have the five dollar meal. The blizzard was very small and was not good. The hamburger I had was great.

I visited this location 3 days ago and received great service. I went back to day and ordered a "oreo shake" (same thing I got 3 days agoand was told they couldnt make it because they dont offer it. As I told her I got the same shake 3 days ago. The refused to make it and turned me away as a customer. I will never go back to this dairy queen.

Pretty standard for a dairy Queen but the staff is really nice here and the family loves the chicken strips. A bit expensive for a dinner but it is surprisingly good.

I thought it was fast and courteous service. Kids really like the ice cream selections and drinks. Food was good

Didnt get what i ordered and it took over 30 minutes to get one ice cream cone.

Worst dairy Queen EVER. paid $30 for three chicken strip basket dinners and got like 9 french fries and tiny chicken strips. Really.... And yall want more then minimum wage and then on top of that I ask for ranch and honey mustard and he tells me I have to pay additional because its cost money... Dude I just paid $30

Went there for lunch today as we were at an event at the community center across the street. The pulled pork was grisly and the bun was buttered but not toasted, the gravy had some age on it. The grilled salad was good, but they gave us the wrong dressing. There were no workers smiling in this place, they acted like they were put out by us just being there. We wont be back to this dairy queen.

Customer service was awesome. Food was good. Parking is minimal. Seating is okay.

Terrible customer service. Doesnt honor upside down blizzard. Argues back with customer whenever they bring up a true complaint. Very little candy or other topping in blizzards

They dont participate in the upside down Blizzard promotion. Its just fun! They used to at least turn it over but then stopped.

Website claims its open until 10:00 PM. The truth is they stop serving food at 9:30 and just do Ice cream until 10. They girl at the counter was inconvenienced by just having to explain that. Very disappointed, just go to Braums...

Food is typically fresh and tasty, with decent cheap options. It tends to take a while to get your food, the staff can be indifferent, the floors and tables are not always clean, and the seating is quite cramped. The food makes it worth it, though, and it is a decent place to stop in for a bite. No drive-thru, would not recommend if you are in a hurry, but otherwise it is good and the flaws are typically minor.

I took my grandson and his friend there for dinner before the movies. We had excellent service and great food!

Good service. All of the employees appeared to be in good spirits. My carryout order, $5 burger and fries Deal, was tasty. It was still hot when I got home! Oh, and Cricket and Nani loved their Pup Cups (free w/purchase).

While I personally dont need them, note there is not a handicap accessible entry or bathroom.

My husband and I were greeted and the girl waited patiently for me to make up my mind about what kind of blizzard Id wanted and we left very satisfied. Also had a variety of kute ice cream cakes!

Manager isnt very friendly. The workers work hard. Food is good.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I saw the manager (older ladychastise a young couple who did not want eggs in their salad. The picture clearly does not show eggs. Several co-workers have also told me the manager (owneris not friendly at all and can be rude at any moment. I am a long time Dairy Queen fan, but I have refused to go here since seeing that obnoxious snob treat a customer, who was extremely polite, so rudely. This location will not get any of my money until she is no longer working there.
