70 Sajeonggongwon-ro, Sajeong-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon, South Korea, Ch'ongju
Folksy amusement park featuring modest, kid-friendly rides, a small zoo & entertainment.
Lots of amenities and fun.
The zoo portion isnt too bad. Theres a little safari bus ride and a bird land There are two prices, one to enter the park just for the zoo, and to he all inclusive for the rides. Parking if free, and the food on site is over priced, so bring a lunch.
So much having fun and enjoy
I visited here twice over 4 years period. We all liked this place more than Lotte World in Seoul. It is small place, but they got enough stuffs to have fun, family day out. Safari tour was so cool. If they can expand this with few more animal sections, they will be the best safari in Korea.
Best price, worth to visit there. Now seems to preparing night ceremony. But do not need to wait up to then. Already had all.
It was good for kid. But beverage service wasnt goodSome of them asked me to pay beverage with cash.
Amazing place to visit !
About 4 rides were close when we came. The waiting time per ride was fast. We like that the rides were longer... not much on food selection. You need to wear really good walking shoes as the zoo is located in the higher ground so a bit of walking uphill is needed. The toilets are not as clean as I would like them to be. The staff and crew are really nice and friendly. The safari ride was rather fast. So we didnt get to enjoy it as much.
It is a big place with multiple things to do. Their are rides, which I didnt use and costs extra. Thenkids enjoy the animals and the slides theoughout the park. The main attraction by far is that you can feed mutliplr animals in the park. The parakeets sheep and alpacas is a real treat to feed for kids. You can also bring your own food and drink and the tickets are not expensive.
Daejeon O world in South Korea is a theme park. It is located in the South Korean city of Daejeon. The park consists of four different zones: Zoo Land, Joy Land, Flower Land, and Bird Land. For the entrance fee, you can see the entire O-World (including the zoo and bird land), except for the rides and the jungle safari. You can purchase these rides and the safari at O-World. If you want to spend more time with rides, you can buy a combination ticket at the entrance. There are numerous parking lots at the zoo, but they are usually all occupied. The Birdland parking lot is relatively empty. If you have small children, you can easily spend five hours here.
Great ambiance... The rides are so enjoyable together with the animals...African Safari is an jaw dropping experience albeit the duration is short...Good foods are available also
Loved this place. Beautiful nature and attractions made my experience even more exciting.
Good for everynody.Awesome for Kids taller than 80 cm.
The place really makes me comfortable and calm
Tigers were looking weak. Animals doesnt seem happy. There was no assistance provided. All you need to follow is a map. Birds had no space to fly. Overall, I will not recommend you to pay for those sad animals.
Very beautiful place alot to do inside the flowers was just too beautiful❤️
Great zoo! I visited the place with three kids and their moms. We had a fantastic time looking at the animal. The place is safe for the kids. We had to wait in line for a long time to get in the safari tour, but it was worth it.
The zoo was pretty good, as far as zoos go. My two year old loved it. The bear and tiger cages were a little bleak though, and could use updating. Generally the park is getting a little tired, but still entertaining.
I LOVE THE PLACE💜💜💜
Bigger, better, crowder than what you think if you havent visited there.
We enjoyed our visit here! My favorite part would be the zoo and the flower land. Very pretty especially with a lot of cherry blossoms bloomed all over the place.
The amusement park is great to take your family to. Has a zoo and a theme park. Lots of rides and attractions. Similar to american parks minus the language.
I only visited the zoo. The zoo was was nice. They had a domesticated dog exhibit which soured my experience there.
I went there in February so they had a discount. The bird house is really interesting and there are variety of animals.
A bit little, the zoo is good but a bit tiny for the animals....
There are rides, zoos, and entertainment spaces for children. And you can see the flowers. There is a restaurant so its easy while playing.I recommend not to buy souvenirs.
Lovely experiences of rides, flowerland, zooland and birdland.
Fun with kids~
Animal conditions 1. The resk of the park 4. It could do with a renovation. Definitely aimed at famillies but not bad for what you pay for. Prices are reasonable once inside. However, in terms of the animal conditions a lot of work is required. Cement floor cages with no plants leaves empty soul-less boxes. The camel pen was particularly distressing, just mud and a water trough. The safari areas are tiny once the electric fances are taken into consideration which keep the animals on the road and out of the foliage; particularly the bears exhibit left them trapped in very little space. The elephant area was tiny too and frankly it made me sad. The list goes on... The bus was old and needs updating.
Amazing place but I would suggest going in the Summer or Spring. Best Zoo Ive seen in Korea so far
It was good! So many things to do and see. The staff are also polite. We were the only foreigners though.
Awesome place, good for kids.
So nice
A good place to relax with friends and interact animals. Plan well to have time for the flower garden which can be really big and beautiful in the day.
Great place for family routing. I visited it during early winter but I believe it will be marvelous during autumn or spring.
Nice place especially for kids and teenagers
Great! Rides were made for kids so dont expect them to go too fast or high. Also, fun house has a puff of air that blows upwards from the ground. Ladies, be wary if youre wearing a skirt.
great place where you can do lots of activities, and see animals, flowers and birds at the same time.
Weve been here a couple of times and this is the first time we came here at summer . If its not bcoz of the hot weather Im sure we stroll all the places inside. I recommend you visit by fall or spring ❣👋
Good place to hang out with family and to improve the knowledge about nature..
Wasnt really wowed by O-World, more for children, could be due for a revamp/refurbishment, it feels run down and needs a but of a face lift. There is a zoo located inside as well, was kind of disappointed at the lack of space these animals had. Kangaroos are from a place in the world thats hot, full of dirt and sand, but it felt so concrete here. Although zoos arent really the best thing for animals, the least we could do is give them some space to have a good run around. Also the seal tank so low in water, the bears do tricks to get food from customers but it didnt feel natural, I felt a bit bad for going. On the other had the Flowerland was beautiful, though in the middle of winter, it seemed so nice and refreshing to see all these flowers. Probably the best place in the whole area.
This place has zoo, safari, garden with beautiful flowers, and also amusement park. The zoo has a lot of animal collection, but as a person whos not a fan of zoos, I cant really enjoy my time in the zoo part. The amusement park is not big enough, as I remember I only can not more than 10 amusement ride. The most interesting part of this place is the flower world, which is a garden full of beautiful flowers. I can stay a whole day in this place just to enjoy the beautiful scent and colour of the flowers.
If you have never been before, its okay for an afternoon. It seems to be more aimed at the elementary school set. The rides are limited in quantity and entertainment value. The zoo is okay with a few big ticket animals, but the enclosures can be a bit depressing at times. The flower world part is not much to see unless you come in the right season. Dont go with high expectations and youll have an okay time.
I heard about this place having a zoo thatched bears that waved at you to get treats. Sure enough, those bears were still here waving at tourist for treats.Tickets to this place is a bit pricey but for a whole day adventure with you and your kids is worth it.The main attraction for me was the amount animals they had and how well they looked. They looked fed and well taken care of by a staff that was present throughout the park. You can feed a multitude of animals from bears, monkeys, sheep, and deer. Animals that we find normal in America are rare here and are put into pens that we can see. So its a little weird to see coyotes in a zoo when back at home you see them almost every day. Most of the animals were very tired that day and were resting under shade due to the temperature being so hot, so they were not as active.O world does have a lot of rides as well as a waterpark type place for children and parents. As we did not pack clothes for this part in the park we didnt go but saw kids and parents in swimming attire near the concession stands. The last thing we did in the park was the safari tour. The tour is in Korean so you will have to deal with that. The tour is great that take you by bus into an enclosed area that has bears, lions, and other safari animals. The bus doors are covered with bars but the windows are not. The animals dont jump on the bus but do wave at the bus driver due to he is the only one that feeds them on the tour through the window. We bought tickets to flower land and Birdland as well, but thats a different review.
My son is short but he was able to ride almost all the rides. Suggest going when the flowers are blooming. Make sure you bring won with you because there is only one atm and it does not take foriegn cards. I liked feeding the animals
The fountainsaround the bird land and flower land were very good. But I wished there was also fountain coming from the ground so that children can touch water and play.
Amusement Park, Zoo and Flower Park. You can have amusement rides but not so much options and attractions. The zoo is just so so and if you pass the mammal area becareful with the smells. The birds park is also available with extra ticket.Flower park is good if you come in spring.
Its a zoo + flower show + amusement park. Good place to visit in spring and summer seasons.
I really loved here omg! The bird part was amazing! I recommend to go tgere on the weekdays so you can try everything without waiting in a long line. I will gp back there for sure. Ideal for families or also for a nice date!
October 21, 2016. Our family includes a 5 year old, a 2 year old and an infant. We paid for basic entry and did much of the zoo and a few rides and took in a bit of a stage performance. There was no shortage of fun to be had here for our young family. The animals were very active, probably because of the nice weather. Loved feeding the goats. The seals, bears and monkeys were a big hit. NB: there is a seal show or feeding at 3pm. The line for the Safari was way too long by the afternoon, so do that early if you are inclined. We wanted to do it, but didnt want to wait in such a line. Plenty of nice places to picnic, but lots of options if you prefer to buy lunch. For kids who are too little for the big rides like my 2 year old, there are about 20 coin rides under a tent just next to/below the bumper cars. She enjoyed just climbing around on them, no coins necessary! My 5 year old is 110cm and was able to do several of the big rides. We paid for them ride by ride. We had our own, but you can rent strollers near the entrance.
