Really interesting history of the Daegu city area, dating back from prehistoric and Medieval times. My favourite part was the exhibition all about the history and development of Hanbok!

Theres a lack of information in English. There are labels in English but not much explaining what you are looking at. But the collection is nice and well maintained. The halls are clean and spacious. The curator obviously takes a lot of pride in their collection. Walking through you dont get much of a sense of the building being distinct to Korea. If anything it feels as though its been inspired by European architects. Theres a small childrens section where there are some arts and crafts on offer. But there isnt much educational value in it. Overall its a nice place to spend a couple hours with the family.

I like the walking trail at the back of the museum as much as the museum itself. Itโs very peaceful with trees and small benches
Beautiful, has a nice collection, it gives you a good idea about Koreaโs history.
A nice cosy museum. In reality it should really be called the "Daegu National Hanbok Museum", as that is the most interesting and prominent exhibition topic. Personally I wouldnt take a child to this museum, as it is quite quiet and dark (to protect the hanboks), but there are several areas dedicated to children and education on site to keep them interested. The only issue is that it is quite far from the subway and requires a bus ride to get there.
Free entrance museum. Textile, weapons, traditional clothing of Korea. A small shop inside with interesting souvenirs. Must see.
Easy to park, good enough space for kids.
I felt that it was pretty small. But the museum itself was pretty interesting with traditional artifacts and clothes. Also, its free so no complaining!
Wonderful, elegant little museum with nicely- lit exhibits with English explanations. Local finds from Daegu. Gives a great glimpse into local history. Snack bar has coffee and ice cream. Charming gift shop.
Great muesum
Daegu National Museum. A good place to bring the kids. Quite a substantial amount of artifacts and relics to be seen here. If you are interested in Korean history, definitely a place to stop by. Plus admission is free! Who doesnt love free stuff? ๐๐
Wonderful place for both kids and adults. Also the museum is just on the street, so very easy to find. Make sure you have enough time in hand as it is quite a big museum. If you are fan of ancient fabrics, I am sure this place will amaze you.
Came here over the summer with my father and brothers. The place was a bit small for a national museum. However, it was very informative and clean/organized.
Rich, neat and clean environment. Well presented cultural, educational, war tools and historical museum.
Great museum. Not too long. Great displays. Display signs are in English too. Also, air conditioning in the summer!
Great
I expected more galleries

Fairly small museum but a lot to like. Some of the most unique artifacts Ive seen in Korea and a great room for the kids, worth visiting if only for a hour.
Also nice for children
Interesting!!!
Smaller than expected. Special exhibits only in Korean.
Its free and they have a souvenir shop that sells postcards :)
Worth a trip to this museum.
