Had a lovely meal of trippa and risotto really enjoyed the food.

Great place to have a Lampredotto! Not polished as the upstairs section of the market.This is more traditional,old-style, typical Florence Lampredotto stand. Good food, good price.

Porchetta panino is excellent. Make sure you get the salsa verde

Lampredotto definitely doesnt taste like meat (like some said), but like what it actually is (tripe). Very chewy, had to swallow (cant break with your teeth). We ordered the panino con lampredotto. Me and my wife, we didnt like it and didnt finish. Maybe, if you are a lampredotto lover, this might be your favorite sandwich. We also tried the panino con bollito. Im glad we did because that one was good. I dont think its worth the line, but we liked, specially after the lampredotto.

We got the panini con porchetta, very delicious with the salsas! Bread was a little hard, so TMJ-ers beware. We didn’t get to try the roast beef one but that seemed to be very popular too. All in all, tasty!

Nice and fairly priced, but the lampredotto was perhaps a surprise for being rather bland flavoured altogether even with both sauces.

For $5.5 I only have good things to say. Seriously the best lampredotto in town.

Little overrated. Lampredotto was good but not my type of food. Didn’t like it too much. I liked the porchetta sandwhich meat much better but the bread was hard as a rock. Inedible. Had to just pull the meat out of the sandwhich. It needs a dip into the sauce like lampredotto. Don’t understand the line. And the guy taking the orders was rude. And somehow everyone can pay with credit card but when it’s my turn he said no, then person behind me pays with card too.

You can tell why this place is so popular. Really lovely staff who despite it being busy, and the language barrier, took the time to help us get a great lunch. The classic local delicacy of panino del lampredotto was perfectly seasoned and freshly made before my eyes.

They sell THE best sandwich, I came back every single day I was in Florence. And planning to go back as soon as I can, that’s how good it was.

8.5€, liked it, will bring my husband to try it next time, he will love it no doubt!

I came back after my first visit in 2019. I was somehow let down. It wasn’t as good as I remembered it to be. The texture was good but the flavor was a bit bland. What a pity.

A food stall well rated and good food, okay .... But I was welcomed very badly by the cashier. I wanted to pay by card for their panino (4,5€but she told me that it was only by cash. Okay, fortunately I had cash. She took the money and screamed to her collegues "vuole pagare con carta per un panino" (that means : she wants to pay by card for a sandwich), showing me with her finger. Her collegues didnt say anything and seemed uncomfortable.However, at that period, I did an Erasmus in Italy so I can "perfectly" understand italian (but not talk). I couldnt take so much cash on me because I had already spent 6 months in Italy so cash became rare for me (and withdraw money adds additional costs and I cant neglect it as a student.And also, I choose the "wrong" sandwich (stracottoand I had to wait like 20mins. I was almost late to visit the Duomo.If you want to go there, be sure to not understand italian, pay by cash or avoid the cashier 😂

I am sure that this is a famous place, but they have not have us the information about the meat. They have different meat types. Our group of 10 bought but could not eat it.

Excellent food and service, 13 eur for two pastas (with aubergineand two white wines. Went here at 11.45 and could still find a place to sit without lining up for too long ( wait time 5-10mins).

Absolutely one of the best places where to get the famous Tuscan panini.Be there on time because the queue can be long

In the beginning, I was afraid that I wouldn’t like the taste, so I decided to share with my friends. But the taste is really good so that we all bought 4 more to eat.But the only defect is that the bread is too hard to bite😂

Amazing! The best sandwich/burger in Florence! This place should be on TV! Also, I read several bad reviews about service or even racism. We came here multiple times and saw no evidence of that, the service was great too! Like any good place, you should get there early if you don’t speak Italian or English so you get even better service! Again, the food is amazing—the beef sandwich or the tripe or anything else, it’s all great!

A must visit place when in Florence. There always people lining up, but trust me its worth the wait. Lampredotto/Trippa alla fiorentina and Arista are a finger lickin good!

Stopped by for a pork sandwich. Incredible. Super fresh and really tasty! We came early so wasn’t that busy but hear that it gets pretty crowded later on so get there early!!

We were visiting from San Francisco for our honeymoon. The sandwich was tender and tasty with perfect bread. We would easily come here again.

Though their best seller, the lampredotto (tripe/cow stomachsandwich, is not for the picky eater…there is a reason why there is a line despite having other stalls nearby selling the same thing. Their bollito (boiled beefwould be a good option for the not so adventurous eater.Make sure to add some chilli sauce and extra green sauce.

Wonderful little spot in Mercato Centrale. Only got to try the beef sandwich, but it was an excellent place to stop by for quick breakfast (if you’re visiting this spot, also visit Bambi Caffe for a quick coffee which is also very close within the market).

I’ve tried one panini con Lampredotto with tomato sauce and one with extra spicy 🌶 Both are so good!

The "golden standard" of Lampredottos sandwich. I wanted to make sure to find the right place and so I asked my Florentine friends where to go for the best Lampredotto: they all pointed at "Da Nerbone" with little hesitation. This food joint is located on the ground floor of Mercato Centrale (less fancy than the first floor).Pro tip: It gets immediately crowded after 12:30 so go there as early as possible (At 11:45 took me only 2 min to buy my sandwich).Pro tip #2: ask to add the "salsa verde" ("green sauce", mic of erbs and garlicas well as the "salsa piccante" (a red mild spicy sauce). These home made sauces help adding more dimensions to the flavour, you will not regret!

Awesome spot for foodies in the market. We went early right before noon to avoid the lunch time rush and didnt have to wait in line at all. The staff was very friendly. We couldnt decide between what seemed like their two signature dishes, so opted to have a mixed sandwich with both lampredotto and trippa, which was amazing. The bread is dunked in the braising liquid to make the sandwich perfectly moist, with both meats piled on and then topped with two delicious sauces. Great value for money, would definitely have this on a regular basis. Highly recommended, a must when in Firenze!

We had a not too bad Panino Al Lampredotto.But their service is not good. If you are a foreigner like me, you have to line up. Many local Italians jumped in directly to order meals in Italian and the boss. When I did the same, the boss asked me to go to the counter to order.

A fantastic experience Id recommend to any foodie. I had trippa alla fiorentina and loved it. The prices are pretty good, the staff friendly and the atmosphere authentic (in the 1st floor of the street food / market).

Staff very nice, the food amazing i tried the "fagioli allolio" and the famous "panino al lampredotto" very very tasty and the portions big!! Try it is a must!!!!

For me it is absolutely a must-eat in Florence! Too bad we couldnt read the menu, so both times we only ordered panino lampredotto. But next time I know when I order, I will just show the photos from the reviews to them😁

Genius! The best Lampredotto ever! A regional dish of cow intestine / stomach... sandwich or in a dish... with bread. Try different preparations- all Awesome! Absolutely a must...Try the Artichokes too, the Caprese. To find: Mercato Centrale ... facing in, on the back left corner...Mmmm!!

This can be found in the food stalls on level one of the Florence Mercado. Long lines for the food, and a bit confusing to understand where to order, where to pay, and where to pick up. You need to order/pay with the cashier, then you get a receipt with your order, then move down to the man prepping your sandwiches. I handed him the receipt thinking he would know my order, but I had to repeat it again with him.Loved the spicy sauce, tasty sandwiches.There was a Mercado guy ushering us to the tables next to the stand for seating, he works there and doesn’t speak any English.I liked the sandwiches, but I wasn’t blown away. I also thought the bread was too hard and I had to really bite down for each bite, and had to thoroughly chew each bite before swallowing. I imagined this to be a soft sandwich, but the bread kind of scratched the roof of my mouth, it was so rough.Great experience. Would I come back? Probably not, just not my thing, but recommend for people to try it ! It’s a local delicacy, just not my personal favorite.

Simply awesome lampredotto!Yeah you have to queue, yeah there are sooo many tourists here but it’s worth it!The salsa verde and picante in combination with the lampredotto is unforgettable.At 4 € it’s fairly priced and worth it!Give it a try next time you are here

Food is very delicious here. Its located inside the Central Market, although it closes at 3pm, do come early if you want to try the most famous dish, Lamperdotto. Expect to have long queue when placing your order. Both pork also very nice, roast pork and braised pork. Its good to match the meal with red wine

If you like delicious local food, this is the place to be. Nothing fancy but simply good affordable lunch. Be prepared to stand in line for 10-15 mins and seating is limited.

Saw recommendation on 穷游网. The beef and stomach sandwiches are really good. Simple fast and delicious. The shop keeper doesn’t speak much English and no English menu. But this is where locals eat.

I make it a point to stop by here whenever Im in Florence. Excellent roast beef, and the cows stomach has to be tried as well.

If I had a chance to come back to Florence again definitely because of the beef sandwich!! We took the last two at 2pm that day . Better go earlier .
