This is an authentic Italian place in Porto. Attended by the owners, an Italian family from Verona. This was our first time and we tried pizzas (obviously). Nothing to envy of what you can get in Rome or Napoli. The only bummer for this first visit is that they ran out of Moreti (Italian beerother than that everything was great. Food, ambience, service, etc.Don’t expect a fancy place just a place to get a good Italian meal, cooked by real Italians.

Pizza is by far my favorite meal. I am very critical when there is a new pizza place to check out. I have to say that this is the best one I have seen for a while. Da mattia is not like that fancy places you can find at the Port or in the center. They keep it quite simple with their Interieur, but their pizza is outstanding. Thin crust, flavourful cheese, lovely beer, good prices and an excellent service. Pizza came just 5-10 minutes after ordering. We had some olives with garlic oil and oregano as a starter which was also perfect in flavor. When we come back to Porto, we will definitely meet this place again. Thank you for a perfect meal!

The moment you step into Da Mattia, the delicious smells will let you know you’ve found a great place to eat. Worth the journey out into Porto’s suburbs - especially the buffala and the pizza blanca. Incredibly friendly service. Highly recommended.

Best focaccia and lasagna in town 👌 I would also suggest pizza with bufalla and fried bread. You really feel Italy, not only because all the ingredients come from there, but also the beer and the Limoncello 🇮🇹

Really great pizzaria. I have been working at a company near this restaurant for the last 5 years and when this opened it was a godsend. The pizza is really great, the staff friendly and the prices are mid to low. I recommend the Diavola pizza.

Amazing pizza , extremely friendly and welcoming staff, affordable prices. This place is the whole package. Just go! Homemade tiramisu looks amazing and theres a good delicious selection of beer and wine they also offered to go and delivery. Eat there and enjoy talking with the locals who work there and take pride in their delicious food offerings. This place is an instant favorite for me and I look forward to returning my next visit to Porto!

We went to Porto from Germany and got an Airbnb just around the corner. We went there three times in five days because it was so awesome.The food is great, the waiter are so kind & we had a great time everytime we went there.Thanks you so much! Definitely coming back :)

The best most Italian pizzas in Porto

Great to find this local, authentic Italian on our doorstop. Mattia and his partner and staff are great hosts, and the pizza and pasta are top notch. The foccacia starter is amazing, and Im looking forward to trying the croquettes on my next visit (one or two dishes must be ordeted in advance).Great to see that value and passion for food still co-exist in Porto. One to go back to again and again.

Was so pleasantly surprised how good their pizza was. It was probably one of the best pies I’ve ever had. Besides from that the service was amazing making us feel like friends. Hands down the BEST pizza in Porto. Actually the best pizza in Portugal and I’ve been from the North to South and this place beats them all. Do yourself a favor and try this place. No will not be disappointed.

Small pizzaria with friendly and attentive service.We had the bruscetta with tomato, pizza buffala, pizza quattro formaggi and Tiramisu for dessert. The bruscetta and the Tiramisu were superb. The pizza was a little bit too saucy / wet for our taste but still very delicious.Unfortunately the terrace wasnt open when we were there - it looked quite nice looking out of the window. The atmosphere inside was a bit more basic ajd with music TV running.All in all a good and very reasonable priced place for pizza.

The food was great and our waiter was very nice! He spoke English so we were able to understand him and he made sure we knew what we were ordering. The calzone was huge and I only 8,50 euros. Highly recommend this pizza place.

Crazy good pizzas and service, definitely worth going

Difficult to find but REALLY worth it! Best Pizza in Porto, we had the carbonara and the mozzarela bufala both were perfect!
