Good restaurant in central Lucca. The menu generally has an excellent selection of sandwiches, bruschetta and salads. Their house bread was delicious too! Good service on a busy lunchtime.

Friendly hosts and wonderful food. Well worth a visit. Thats how it used to be . For many years we have dined but also stopped here for a drink. Today we went for wine, plenty of empty tables and we were turned away with the reason being "we are a restaurant not a bar". Make your mind up ciacco and be clear if you want repeat custom or not.

Lovely Cafe on the Piazza, shaded by oak trees in Lucca. Menu via a QR scanner app. Great sandwiches and draught beer. A water drinking tap on the square too, next to the Lucca name.

Really delicious food. No wonder that there often are people waiting for a table. A very popular place. The price level isn’t high. The staff are efficient and friendly.I highly recommend this place.

Nice restaurant located in Piazza Napoleone. This place is super simple and only serves sandwiches and charcuteries. All the items on the menu are all full of value and the portion sizes are huge. The charcuterie and the sandwiches was the best value for money and the meats were super fresh. The staff here are super friendly and always attend to you.

Amazing. We got The Spicy which was classic and tasted fresh and delicious and the sandwich with ham, an onion jam, pistachios and a few other ingredients and it was excellent!

We have ordered two panini: DOP and Porchetta. They were absolutely delicious. Bread was freshly baked! The service is very quick and efficient.

Lovely spot for sitting outside for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend pairing their dry rose with the cheese platter and Greek salad, including fresh local ingredients.

Really delicious cheese platter. The greek salad was huge and really flavoursome. The sandwich was also a generous portion and really delicious. The staff were really friendly.

We just ate salads at this place and they were well made. The terrace under the trees is a cozy spot to look at the square. The inside of the bar looked nicely decorated, can imagine its a good place to sit on colder days. A compliment for the graphic design of their table placemats, you can see attention was put into presentation.

The best Tartare I ever had!

While it is a shop, it also sells cold platters and you can sit nicely outside. The staff is very helpful (some speak English, not all though and that really cant be expected im my viewand the food is awesome.Expect some waiting time, it is usually quite full. Dont seat yourself.You pay inside, Debit card is no problem.No pizza, no pasta, no stress. 😎

Fantastic spot for lunch in Lucca.They have a sign outside saying “No pasta. No pizza. No stress.” Which initially made me think it was only a bar, and then i saw people eating so we stopped in for a bite.One of the best sandwiches I’ve eaten — every ingredient is a delight and beautifully fresh. I had a ham, burrata, and aubergine sandwich. The bread was perfect, the ham was deep in flavour, the cheese beautifully fresh, and the presentation simple and unfussy.The salads are also fresh and presented beautifully in a huge bowl.They serve Coca Cola in a glass bottle with ice and lemon.Sit outside and soak up the sun and atmosphere of the square.If you want a quick and delicious sandwich for lunch, this is the place!

The salads were the best we had during our entire trip to Italy. Lovely setting and delightful staff. The Spritz was yummy. The restroom was clean. The experience was improved by the performance of a guitarist in the Square during our visit. Highly recommend.

4⭐️ - great lunch place“no pizza, no pasta, no stress”We almost walked out when we realized they didn’t have pizza or pasta BUT glad that we did. We had the beef tartare and porchetta sandwich and they were both great. This place was just one of the highly rated placed inside the walls of Lucca and was exceptionally busy on a sunny spring Sunday.

Must have been the best lunch I have had in a very very long time. Especially the sandwich with bresaola and burrrata was out of this world. Also, we took the large (!roast beef salad and got very delicious side-bread.

Lunch was okay, but definitely not worth waiting more than 30 minutes for a table. The aperol spritz had no spritz had no spritz and the sandwiches were mediocre. Staff was kind though and it is a nice spot to eat and/or drink

Some of the best food we had on our entire trip through (NorthernItaly. The meals are more snack-like (paninis, saladsbut theyre large enough for a full meal. Ingredients are top notch, preparation and selection is outstanding. Staff was ok, though easily stressed during lunch hours.

The food is amazing - super fresh and with such unique combo of ingredients! The location is in a lovely square and the personnel is very kind and helpful. Definitely worth it for a quick stop with tasty food!

Great panini, very good fresh incredients! We had a mixed plate as a starter and the meat and cheese was delicious. Price is very fair for the impressive size of the plate. Also the staff was friendly

Starters were awful, didnt had any seasoning or anything that was showed in the pictures and the beans came out of the can. The waitress couldnt speak any English. When the main dish came we thought it was all good, tasted pretty nice. Unti we noticed that she forgotted our Spagetti and after we told here she just ignored us.

Great place. Ive tried a couple of sandwiches and both were great. The ingredients are very good, fresh and have some nice choices different than the classic sandwiches. The guys working there are very nice, gentle and prepared. The cost is a bit higher than normal for a sandwich (but I would return there)

An excellent choice for simple food and people watching in Lucca! Thanks to the recommendation of a local real estate agent (grazie, Caterina Granucci), we tried this place for lunch en route from the west gate of the Centro Storica to our apartment on Via Cenami. Mamma mia, we were so happy (being Americansto find a place that balanced the bread portion of the panini with the filling. (Meaning, more meat, cheese, etc. than seems to be typical with a panino...Try #9. Yum!!! We love their bufala mozzerella, their big salad, and the prices were reasonable. Friendly wait-staff, fun people and pet watching, and we went back a couple of days later for dinner. Really good spot in bella Lucca.

One of my favourite places to go. The food is incredible here! If you’re looking for something fresh, the salads are the best in town. Paninis are divine. Good prices with great drinks as well. Anytime I bring guests here, we often return as they love it.
