Way too overpriced for what they offer.The information about the food in the menu is really blank.

The service was pretty slow , they didnt bring cutlery first nor salt or sugar with the coffee. The food looked nice but wasnt anything special . My toast was soggy ( I ordered avocado toast with poached egg. Standard prices , medium sized portions .

Very pleasant brunch location, with quite a few options in terms of coffee and breakfast dishes. The vibe is very posh and friendly and there is always plenty of space for everyone. The service method is also very straightforward and easy to use.

Good food and service. The order came in quickly. Pet friendly.

Excellent service and quality of food. The bartender went to my table to talk a while about țuică shots. He also invited me for one. Nice atmosphere and the pulled pork burger was awesome.[Update - 2nd review] Always I come here they are super nice and sit down with me as well as invitation for țuica. They are not the fastest ones in case you are in a hurry. This is a place for relax and enjoy super delicious food cooked with love and patience. Its a must for brunch.

One of the best experiences I’ve had with cocktails Marian is a great guy who checks all the boxes, charismatic, knows his history of cocktails and makes you feel more than welcomed

We went here for a cocktail workshop, expecting it to be a quick "do this, try that" kind of training, but we were surprised with an almost four hours workshop with a multitude of cocktails. Our barman (who happens to be the ownertaught us how to make the cocktails and told us a bit about the history of each cocktail. Food was great as well, and came as a pleasant surprise. We will definitely come here again!

The slow cooked pork sandwich is tasty and juicy. The halloumi sandwich is great as well, but the guacamole inside wasnt my favorite. I also enjoyed the side potatoes with bits and pieces of cheese sprinkled on top. The aloe vera lemonade is refreshing, not too sweet. I liked the shape of the glasses we drank with. The ordering "procedure" seems to me a bit not unusual, but more time consuming. At the end, when I asked for the bill (cash), the waitress mistakenly charged me with what sb else at the table had ordered too. Luckily I had just the right amount of money on me and unfortunately I couldnt leave a tip because I didnt have enough cash remaining. The staff seemed nice and joyfully, giving smiles and good vibes. Overall, the food was really tasty, I will be coming back to taste some other stuff, the aloe vera was my favorite, and the atmosphere was pretty chill. Not awarding 5 stars because of the misunderstanding when proceeding with the bill. But other than that, I recommended DOT for being a worthy brunch and friends place.

Place look really nice, but they dont give as paper menu. We were forced to download some app and order in app.We dont go to restaurant to be on phones all time.

Food was not really edible, bad quality and expensive. Most of the staff was smoking by the main entrance to the restaurant blocking the entrance…also, absolutely no toast available which is quite funny for a place called The District of Toast. But they did have an app lol.

The place is located in a very nice location and offers a lot of options for brunch. The service however was not that great. I went with a group of 6 people, and most of the dishes we ordered came with 1h delay. The place was not that packed to justify the long waiting time. Part of the order didn’t come at all and the staff insisted that we should pay for it (because it was ordered through their online systemand wait more time until it’s ready. We paid and waited for around 20 min more but then we had to leave, so finally we paid for things we didn’t receive.

The food is ordered through an app, that you have to install.They mixed up the orders, as we switched tables - so it looks like the app or staff cant do this.Orders also took a lot of time to get to the table.Overall - too much hussle!The prices are really really high too, borderline loosing sight of what makes sense or not. The whole Cluj Horeca business sector has lost touch.

Smoked carrot toast wasnt really toasted properly (ironic, isnt it?and very salty. "Natural raspberry tea" is just a raspberry syrup mixed with cold water.Everything way overpriced.Not giving one star only because the service was fast, but I do not plan to come back.

Cosy place near the old town, good vibes with great music. We had delicious coffee and a tasty brunch (they have vegetarian options). The staff were super friendly and gave us complementary watermelon and water for our 🐶

A great place, great deco, young vibe, also vegetarian food, and one can order via an app directly at the table.

Great place to go for a brunch, the food was great, and also the coffee.Rated 4/5 because I find the ordering process a bit hard, the app/website you have to use doesnt have all the available products and its quite frustrating to interact with.

I really liked the food here, everything was delicious. We had to wait a little bit longer to get our order but it was all good because got extra meals too.

Good management.Our order got mixed up somehow and we had to wait a lot for the meal which we haven’t even ordered. After this unfortunate mistake, the staff (especially the manager of the placeput huge effort on solving the issue.Mistakes happen all the time, but the acknowledgement of the issue and the way how they handled the situation made my experience with DOT a really pleasant one.

Stayed just for some drinks on the spacious terrace, next to the Mid Ages wall - nice location.The menu and orders are available via a website page (app not necessary- I really dont appreciate this kind of interaction, but its getting spin, people think its hype - it isnt.The waiters sitting idle on a table, and clients ordering online... well...Ordered a bottle of sparkling wine, the order came promply: a bottle of wine - not spakling. The order on the app was plain, clear, even with a picture. However, the waiter looked confused. Finally, we got the sparkling. We asked for some tapas - got excuses "kitchen out of order". Tried to order another bottle. After a while, we got appologies: No other bottle left. Well... its just Friday early evening, well prepared :j Checked out - the bill was for 2 bottles of wine - ofc, including the last order - the bill being brought by the same waiter who told us they dont have another bottle left :)))I want to be clear: staff is very friendly, but very clumsy, too, unprofessional at execellence - while staying there I noticed almost every table had issues with wrong orders. The busibess looked like a total mess, run by absolutely newbies. Hard to get annoyed, tough... they kept excusing and smiling.Surely well not avoid this place in the future, givingem another chance. Well see if it was an accident, or not.

Cosy place, with reggae music - it looks hipsterish and the atmosphere is really pleasant. They prepare interesting recipes and have a good beverage selection (from coffee, to fresh and craft beers).The staff is friendly - we received a detailed descriptions of some toasts in the menu and recommendation of the most desired products.The food looks really good and it was tasty (Ive tried 3 dishes and they were all good).As a plus, they offer free water - you can find the bottles on the table.

Amazing place in Cluj Napoca! Diana took care of us and she was amazing! A great leadership between her colleagues, she served us top notch, excellent quality of the food, will definitely come back and recommend it.

Recommended. You need to download an app to order food as the QR scan does not work. But it is totally worth the trouble. Orders are made via that special app. Nice environment, very understanding staff, have your covid certificate on you. Good food, good service and clean place. We like the chill out music 🎶. Enjoy.

Cozy place, nice terrace, great selection of breakfast options. The teas are real loose leaf deal, and they can make a second brew for you if you ask (which is great for green tea).I tried Clujestine breakfast and it was delicious! Flavours were amazing!The only one big minus for me is the stupid order system. You have to install the app to read menu and to order, and scan the QR on the table, so they know where order belongs. But the app was not enough, one had to register and login. Seriously this is overkill for the breakfast. Especially if one is not living in Cluj and not coming to this place often - having to install app is too much. Luckily one of the staff members, very pleasant girl, gave us her phone with app installed and we ordered from hers.

The food was good, and the service fast. The app was easy to use, but the overall user experience is not great for tourists (to install an app just for a lunch).

I ordered from them once and it was unexpectedly good! I had some coffee, a pulled pork bun with wedges and homemade chocolate for dessert. I strongly recommend the chocolate, it was devine. The rest of the food was very good too.

The most important thing (and the reason I went with 4 stars instead of 3they are PET FRIENDLY.So I gave this place 3 chances, every time saying that I won’t come back. The location and the way the outside terrace is decorated really makes you to come back, but the food and drinks are mediocre and I wouldn’t say are worth the price

Great cozy spot for a breakfast / brunch combination. The avo toast was ✨ crispy and nice, the coffee delicious and free (they have a one-free-coffee thing going onand the staff friendly. The seating is somewhat uncomfortable and not so inviting for longer stays. Would go back.

Excellent breakfast place and more. There is a great variety of beers. They even gave umbrellas to everyone at the terrace to hide from the rain. Highly recommend! :)

This has got to be one of the coolest brunch spots Ive ever been to. While the toast-centric theme could seem limiting, the wide selection of combinations they offer ensure youll never run out of things to try. The music is really nice (relaxing reggae in the mornings), the staff are really friendly, and the coffee is perfect. Great place to work from a laptop, or even meet with friends for a beer! My only complaint was that the mushroom toast I had was a bit unusual - the cheese was almost acrid with bitterness. Regardless, Id love to come back and try more things from this awesome place one day.

By far the best place to get breakfast in Cluj. I absolutely love you guys whether Im eating in house or in home. Im so happy that you have created such a wonderful business and with such a friendly and happy team to support you. I recommend you to everyone! It reminds me of breakfast in a modern London cafe/restaurant but with a Romanian twist! The Omlette with Nasal is 10/10 every time. Thank you!

This place has everything you need to feel great and determine you to come back: a minimalist modern design, a very good menu with lots of choices that are cooked to perfection, nice plating, good coffee (although not as extensive as in other places that feature origin coffee), friendly staff with a big smile on their faces all the time and very good English knowledge. Did I mention that tips can be paid by card and the place is pet-friendly? During our 4 days stay in Cluj we went 3 times there for breakfast. It is that good!

Awesome toasts that we ate here, especially the one with Hummus and (bioTrout, which was very original.The place is great for a brunch or a meal during the afternoon, but you can have it all day. I had it at dinner, and even had the chance to taste a traditional Romanian drink which I wont try to write here 😀It was good too.

Nice, cozy place. Great food, just a tad pricey. Excellent selection of craft beer both romanian and international (Untappd verified venue). Definitely worth a visit.

What an amazing lucky find! Just off the Main Street DOT is a brunch haven. Perfect our door and inside seating with uber friendly service. Great craft beer options, speciality coffee with non dairy milk options and tasty brunch food options. A great atmosphere all round, Pity I found it on my last day of our stay.

DOT is the place for a perfect complete experience while visiting Cluj. Not far from the City center, but hidden away from all the noise of a touristy town, DOT lets you enjoy some simple but amazing tasty food made with passion, entirely out of local products (the bread, the eggs, the veggies, the cheese and even some local craft beers). The terrace has a big central sharing table and a separate area designed for smoking so that nobody is bothered while eating. The friendly staff perfectly blends in a friendly and very practical design inside and outside, and takes time to take feedback and also explain to you how everything is made and purchesed, if you are curious that is. Do not miss this one, your senses will thank you!

This place was amazing. It can seat a large group, the food was great and the service outstanding. Casual atmosphere, the person working the register even gave us a list of other pubs and restaurants we should check out and helped out in picking the right craft beer for everyone. A must see breakfast and brunch place in Cluj.

Best breakfast in town!Very tasty and healthy toasts.(I recommend the toast with spinach, egg and home made turkey pastrami).The place is very nice and pet friendly.Also the staff are kind and helpful.

We absolutely loved DOT - from the friendly atmosphere and staff to the absolutely delicious food! As you can see from the photos, each dish has its own character and looks very colourful and healthy. The menu has a large vegetarian section with very tempting options and often quite quirky ingredients, so if you are in the old town, do pass by, you wont regret it!
