Set on the edge of a forest, this unassuming hostel is 3.2 km from Wernigerode Elmowerk train station and 3.7 km from the 19th-century Wernigerode Castle.The spartan rooms (no air-conditioning) sleep up to 4 people and come with en suite bathrooms. Single rooms are also available.A breakfast buffet and parking are free. Lunch and dinner are offered for a fee. There's also a bowling alley, a playground and a children's play area, plus table tennis and pool tables. Other amenities include a BBQ area, a sauna, and indoor soccer and beach volleyball courts.
