On the edge of Harz National Park, this functional youth hostel is at the foot of Brocken mountain and 13 km from the Wurmberg Gondola Lift.Simple, no-frills rooms feature up to 4 beds (some being bunk beds), and either en suite bathrooms or shared facilities. Linens and towels are available for a fee. There are also suites with separate living areas.Freebies include parking (limited spaces) and a breakfast buffet. A cafeteria offers lunch, dinner and snacks, and there are 2 recreation rooms with TVs. There's also a sports court, table tennis, and a game room with pool tables, as well as a 2-lane bowling alley (fee) and 3 meeting rooms.
