DELLA NONNA in Medellin

Tengo una simple chuleta de pollo parmesano.Estaba quemado por un lado y la carne sabe a goma.Le pregunté al gerente si solo estaba empanado y cocinado, mintió. Sus dientes decían que estaba recién hecho.Sé mejor y el gerente es solo un mentiroso. Lo sacaron del refrigerador y lo calentaron. Por eso se quemó de un lado Si quieres buena comida italiana, no vayas.

Salimos de una cita médica y decidimos comer, entramos por primera vez a este mall y parecía era el único restaurante que había.Tiene una linda terraza y un salón interior.Me gusta mucho la comida italiana; y me imaginé que iba a ser una gran comida.La carta es bastante extensa; difícil decidirse;Te traen de cortesía un Pan delicioso con unos quesos pequeños y una mantequilla con una decoración preciosa.finalmente lo que pedí no fue del todo delicioso; para mí el pesto con tomate seco es un sabor celestial y bueno esta vez no fue tan rico.Los calamares eran bastante chiclosos.Además pedi un café ☕ que jamás llego; fue cobrado pero me fijé en la cuenta y pude eliminarlo.El servicio no fue malo pero si un poco despistado; y no había mucha gente.

Overprice and it’s not something out of this world, I wanted to take a coffee and a dessert in the afternoon. The dessert 13000 COP ~$3.9 USD (small cake with almonds and apple with vanilla ice creamand a Cappuccino 8900COP ~$2.5 USD. If we compare cost, it doesn’t worth it, in regards to the flavor is tasty but so little. Definitely is expensive compare with other places alike where to have the same things.

If you have a friend to meet with and dont know what to drink or eat in Del Este Mall in Medellin, go straight to Della Nonna Trattoria.It is a place where youre going to eat very good food and share half bottle of wine, or 3, like us.We had the opportunity to try the octopus carpaccio and the one and only, the Granna Padano pasta with Alfredo sauce.Great and calm atmosphere and very good service at the table.

Este es sin duda alguna, uno de los mejores sitios de la ciudad para disfrutar de la mejor experiencia gastronómica de tipo italiana. Las pastas son la locura, el ossobucco ese deshace con solo mirarlo y por estos días de fin de año, recomiendo a ojo cerrado el tradicional pan de jamón (tradición venezolana), que te va a conectar con las raíces de los creadores y dueños de la marca. Muy, muy recomendado.

When I am in Medellin, in the area of El Tesoro, I really love coming here. The food is fresh and tastes delicious and the service is fantastic. I also like their Llanogrande location.

Mi primera vez en este lugar, con todos los protocolos de seguridad, muy buena la atención y la pasta 🍝 deliciosa, mi salmón 🐟 estaba muy rico, aunque le faltó un poco más de cocción, pero el resto estuvo muy rico. Recomiendo la sangría, es prendedorsita y las frutas son deliciosas.

One of the best Italian restaurants in the city, its speciallity is the Grana Padano dish a generous and delicious portion of pastas prepared directly in the heated cheese brought form north of Italy

If you are ever in Llano Grande or in Medellin Colombia, this is a must do. The owners, Rudi and his wife are incredible people. Their family has a long history in Venezuelan Italian eateries and opened in Colombia a few years back. The service is impeccable and the experience is great. The pastas Grana Padano are fabulous. Don’t overlook the wine list or the main dishes. Worth your time!!!

Everything Ive tried here has been great. Even my new Yorker father in law, raised in little Italy likes to go every time he is in town.

Ok here is the deal, Rudy setup and ran this place, his dad still runs one of the busiest Italian restaurants in Caracas... so the heritage show. Della Nonna is one of is not the best place in Medellin to have pasta. Many things are on the menu but just get the past, Grand Apadano, or the noki... you can’t go wrong with any pasta, but even better is the service.O an don’t order a tropical juice, its Italian food, pair it with lambrusco or a lambrusco leeche sangria.

The cheese wheel spaghetti is fantastic.

I dont give it a 5 just because the food wasnt what I expected from the place. The star dish is pasta with grana padano which is a specific cheese from the north of Italy, but frankly it not such a big deal, you can add a protein like beef or chicken but it just lacks flavour.The atmosphere in the place is nice but since is an almost outdoor restaurant at night it can get a bit chilli and the food can get cold pretty quickly so watch out where you sit.
