DAMAS resturant in Middelkerke

Amazing food and very polite staff. Prices are reasonable and you get a very decent portion for the price. The plates have a very authentic origin or twist to them which makes the place unique. The interior of the restaurant was very clean and cosy with nice lighting and some low tone moody music playing in the back. Would definitely come back, can recommend.

I really enjoyed the meal it was delicious the owner was working alone but he managed really well, the waiting time is not long.

It was lunch time and they had no Ayran left. Then they took the one piece Kebbeh from our plate as they have had a mistake and this Kebbeh doesn’t belong to our order. She explained they don’t have enough of it. The shawarma tasted Chinese rather than Arabic. The food was late although the restaurant was almost empty. Taking the kebbeh away from the plate after serving it was really inappropriate and stupid. We should have returned the whole dish back. انه عنجد عيب

Very good food. The waitress was extremely nice, as the owners. The price is fair for the food and its size. I was specially happy about the kibbeh. Our vegetarian friends enjoyed it a lot too. We will definitely come back.

Amazing food and amazing preparations. Authentic Syrian food.

The Moutabel and Kebbe was delicious, I would definitely come back for those and more. Although the fish was good, it can be so much better. But have to say the fresh and vibrant side dish salad complemented perfectly.I was on the fence for giving that extra 4th star but in the end I believe this place has potential. They just need to improve on a few simple things. I give advise to restaurants, mostly free of charge. You can contact me if interested.

We had some very tasty fries and falafel here and the owners are very nice!

Had this as take out and really enjoyed it! The kebabs had a nice charcoal smoky taste. And the hummus is next level. Would visit again!

So the issue was simply the food. We ordered grilled chicken breast and it was pretty under cooked on the inside. We also ordered shwarma dish and it was extremely salty. It was a talk away. The falafel sandwich on the other hand was decent.Edit: So the owner said the price range was the problem even though we found it resonable to the other resturants in town. The problem was the Quality of the food which was below average. Take the criticism and improve your food instead of calling people Liars.

Excellent. Had the falafel sandwich along with hummus and baba ganoush. The humus was creamy and the smokiness of the baba ganoush was superb. The falafel was soft and accompanied with lots of fresh vegetables. Service was quick and friendly. Would recommend to anyone, especially vegetarians!

The best kebab restaurant in oostende. Pita is as same taste as when I was in islam country. I just want to know when the restaurant is open in this lockdown for take away.

The best place to eat when visiting Ostande. Well cooked in reasonable prices with a variety of kids menu available. Big portions, wine and cosy atmosphere. We really enjoyed Syrian menu, very close to our Greek taste.

My favorite every time in Oostende if oriental! You need a little time ....babanoush, foul, hummus , taboule is perfekt and really prepared with love ! Not chic but traditionell and clean and very fair in prices for vegetarian diishes .... In this case i need no more. Coming every year christmas again ......

Very nice and tasty kubbah ana Fatoosh and Amazing falafel meal the team is always smiling and our guests were very happy.The restaurant were clean and the table comfortable l recommend and i think its number one in the eastern Syrian food.

The food took really long to come. I ordered a pita and it was disgusting!! The meat was basically meat fat. I couldnt figure out what meat it was and I had to ask the waiter what it was and he told me it was chicken. All the fatty bits and chicken skin were in my pita wrap and it gave it a really slimmy taste!! I wasnt even asked what sauce I wanted in it. So I guess I dont know what I got!!My friends enjoyed their fallafel wrap though.But in general very disappointed with the food!!Waiter was friendly.
