Small, unfussy & bright outlet serving Venezuelan fare such as arepas plus hearty sides & desserts.
Wow! I had never had Venezuelan Food before. I did not know exactly what to expect. I saw photos from their place and the food looked delicious. Indeed it was delicious. I think I need to go back this week. And the people who work their are amazing.
Nice hole in the wall. One of the very few places for Latin American food. Family run business, owners welcoming.
The best food I’ve had in a long time. Customer service was great, clean restaurant and great food!
Weve eaten here a few times before, and the place means quite a bit to us, so we thought it would be fun to have them cater our wedding, and they delivered! The communication of our needs, invoices, etc. was great, and the food went over well with all of our guests! I dont know if well ever host a party that needs catering again, but if we do, we know Cylantros will be on our mind. Seriously, we cant recommend this place enough. The food was packaged well; the food is always delicious; and the staff is great. 10/10.
Delicious food, wish it wasnt connected to a gas station
Theyre generous with the mozzarella on the dishes. Delicious salsa.
Great food. I dont know much about how to order but I have never been disappointed in the food.
I was in Kennesaw for a week on business and wanted to try something different. Cylantros came up on my Google search for restaurants in the local area so I decided to find it a try as I hadnt had the pleasure of trying Venezuelan cuisine. With that being said, the very friendly and helpful ladies at the counter suggested I should try the Cylantros Sampler which included 4 arepas, 1 tequeños (Venezuelan cheese stickand 1 empanada. The arepas dont look big but after eating just 2 I was starting to tap out.... DONT LET THE SMALL SIZE FOOL YA!All in all the food was very good and flavorful. The steak arepa was the star of the show for me. Ill definitely be returning if ever in the area.
Always great, flavorful and the sweetest staff. Love this place!
Got with uber eats, food was good but come on have an accurate menu! TequeñoS and ArepaS PLURAL so i would expect two tequenos not one measley stick in a box, I’d reccomend updating the menu to avoid misleading people, or add descriptions saying exactly what we will get. Delicious Cachapa though :)
Ive never had Venezuelan food before so I didnt exactly know what to expect, but boy was I pleasantly surprised! Some of the best food in Kennesaw hands down. Id recommend the sampler dish if youre like me and dont know what to get. Absolutely will be eating here again!
You HAVE TO EAT HERE. it’s amazing! Try everything, you’ll never be disappointed plain and simple!
The food was delicious. My first time trying Venezuelan food and they did not disappoint. The employees had great costumes service!
So good, you have to try it. I know its next to a gas station, dont worry about that. Just try it
I’m from Texas, but every time I visit Georgia, Cylantros is one of my stops for food. It is so good, fresh and I love the music! Definitely check this place out, it’s legit good!
Best arepas in Kennesaw! They have plenty of veggie options. Unassuming place connected to a gas station. Clean, casual spot that is great for a quick and delicious lunch.
A solid restaurant. The tacos are pretty basic. They put a good amount of meat inside the taco with cilantro. Without the sauces the tacos are nothing special, but the green sauce specifically makes me come back because of how good it is! Also their empanadas and torta are really really good.
Holy moly, they have good arepas! So much flavor and so filling! The service was great, the restaurant seemed neat and clean, and the food was outstanding. Will definitely be back!
Absolutely fabulous authentic food!! A true gem! You have to try this place !
I ordered through Uber Eats. I had already visited this restaurant in the past. Never on a Monday. I’m pretty sure I was given leftover rice and grilled chicken from a while back ,I have food poisoning. I’m so disappointed.
The food is amazing and normally the customer service is on point.... weekends they are busy so I understand them not answering the phone but online ordering would be nice too or at least make more of an effort
I’m honestly shocked to have found this spot in Kennesaw. So authentic and delicious. And inexpensive! Don’t let the fact that it’s part of a gas station throw you off - this place is super good eats.
So delicious!! Authentic Venezuelan food! Highly recommend
Having lived in Venezuela for a few years, I was looking forward to eating an Arepa with Guyanese cheese...and they did not disappoint. Just like I remembered on the streets of Caracas. I was a little dubious before I entered because its adjoined to a (not too well keptgas station. But the interior is well done, comfortable, and clean. The personell was pleasant, the food delicious, and clean bathrooms. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.
Mmmmmm!! Never had Venezuelan food before. You can tell the corn tortillas are made in-house. So delicious! Watch out for the red sauce🔥Hot stuff, but the flavor makes it worth it.
I got the perico, it was delicious. Totally coming back for more. Great and helpful customer service. Food served fast and sooo tasty. Buenísimo !
Delicious arepa cameron. Good safety precautions and very clean.
Really good place, try the arepas sampler!
Loved this place! Really warming and ethereal ambiance. Fantastic music at just the right volume and great windows. Really yummy arepas, surprisingly super filling! FANTASTIC pineapple drink. Just wanna stay here and relax all evening.
Had tacos and empanadas. Not quite sure it is a Venezuelan exclusive, but definitely could taste the flavor. Definitely will come back. A good hole in the wall place next to a gas station. Interior is also very clean.
Oh. My. This place does not look promising from outside, but the food made me want to belt out a song of joy. I got a tiny taco and an arepa and both were just perfectly flavored with all the right soft-crunchy textures that make Venezuelan food amazing. My sister got a cachapa and was very enthusiastic about its taste. Service was friendly and fast, food very reasonably priced. I really wish there was one in Smyrna I would probably live there 🤤
I’ve been a customer since they first opened in Woodstock. I order once week, my favorite are the shredded beef arepas. But I’ve pretty much tried it all, and they have never messed up my orders. The cashiers have always been nice to me as well. I’m Colombian, so of course I never get tired of it. Patacones, Sancocho, Empanadas, Sampler, Tres Leches, Tostones, Tequeños, Stuffed Arepas, my favorite is the Arepa Pabellón.
Was our first visit today... food was great!! We will definitely be going back in the future 🙂
Tucked away on Cherokee St in Kennesaw, this delicious little find is worth the trip. Lots of food options, reasonably priced. Both Venezuelan and Mexican food options available.
First time I rate so low, we had Reina pepiada (was good), cheese and beef empanada but the tequeños they charge by unit! $2 a bite size tequeño, thought it was a mistake but is not..
Expensive but definitely worth the drive and price. The sample plate was phenomenal and the arepa I got could have well being treated as my last meal.Ill be making this place a weekend spot.
I had the Cachapas as recommended by the friendly cashier and it was freaking awesome!
This is the best restaurant ever. I could eat here seven days a week, twice a day. I have yet to kind anything that I dont like. The food is always made to order. The customer service is wonderful. The prices are reasonable. I really like this place and I highly recommend that everyone tries it. If they had ten stars I would give them a perfect ten. I move away from Georgia a year ago and I still come back to this place even though its a 1 hr from the airport. Plus they got the sauce. Must try!!!
Amazing food. Absolutely rich and flavourful. It was my third time eating from here and it was so delicious. I love going here with friends and family.
Nice place, nice environment, made me so happy!!! and they made my day by feeling the warm and happiness of my people, highly recommend!!! and even my husband who is a picky eater is now hook to tequeños and picante!!! Gracias por todo y viva Venezuela!!!
Sancocho was amazing! I did take out and never again....!However.. I had items in my meal that shouldn’t of been there so I quit eating it. I’m so bummed since it was good food.. but idk what this paper stuff is in my soup. I pulled one of the pieces and decided I’ll just keep eating and gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt.. but nope another piece of this paper thing was in my mouth. It’s almost like a Clorox wipe but chopped up in pieces.I’m disappointed and hope they resolve the issue.
The food was excellent. The kitchen was a little backed up tonight. I will definitely go back again for more.
Food was absolutely incredible. The restaurant is located next to a gas station but that can be overlooked. It’s very clean inside and everything is cooked to order so expect a small wait. As a group we ordered a variety of their arepas, which were mouthwatering good. The chorizo tacos, beef empanadas and tostadas were all great as well. The green cilantro sauce is very tasty as well as you can put it on anything you order and its killer.
This place is awesome. Ignore the fact that its attached to a gas station. Once youre inside, you would never know it. I dont know anything about Venezuelan food but the people that work there are super nice and very helpful. Ive had empanadas, tacos, soup, arepas and a pabellon (whatever that isand they were all delicious... Every last bite. Im terrible at describing food so just look at the pictures. You can spend 8-10$ there and leave full. If you dont know what to get, then try the sampler platter. The food is fast and comes out fresh and hot.
Really clean place . The food is fresh and delicious and affordable!!!
Ive been wanting to go here for a while because I pass it every morning on the way to work. Its in a Shell gas station, but this hole in the wall was packed when I went there on a Saturday. Prices are fair. If you want to eat on a lower budget grab two or three empanadas or some tacos, but the arepas are what were here for. I tried the reina pepiada arepa, with chicken, avocado and cilantro and it was so good. The extra green sauce on the side made me want more. Its worth the wait and I think we have a new favorite. The menu on the screen has too many animations and is shifting around when you try to read it, so I took a picture. They also have paper menus you can pick up when you walk in.
Delicious at a great price point. We will be back.
Was totally surprised by this hole in the wall Venezuelan restaurant. Don’t be scared of the gas station digs as this place really makes some good food.I cannot pronounce many of the items but everything I had was good and they have some local drinks. They even having an outdoor eating area...in a gas station. It’s at a weird intersection so pay attention and look into the gas station.
Absolutely outstanding service by this young man David, probably one of the best places I have ever visited. Food is outstanding, never tasted something like this in my life. If you are looking to try something new and delicious I recommend this place!
Im giving this place 4 stars because the restaurant is a little under staffed but the place is always busy around usual lunch and dinner times. The wait could be anywhere from 20-25 minutes if they are busy. The food is outstanding! Authentic food and reasonably priced. You guys need a bigger place and more staff! Business is booming here! Most people wait outside for food because it can get packed inside fast.
