Cuzco Cocina Peruana in Cartagena

Cuzco is a small chain of upmarket Peruvian restaurants around Colombia. The atmosphere is festive - think live salsa every night and most tables made for reservations of 10+ people with something to celebrate. The prices are exceptionally high by colombian standards: a single main course costs as much as an entire dinner for 2 in your average touristy restaurant.So dont go if youre looking for a laidback, quiet dinner. It will be loud. The food was creative and delicious though, with classic Peruvian and Nikkei influences keeping it interesting.

Most overpriced restaurant in Colombia for regular food. Whatever you do, dont order shots. Theyre insanely pricey. The cherry on top is that the waiters ask for tip in cash on top of already charging you servicio. So you pay tips 2x when in reality tips should be voluntary and not expected. Do not cave to this type of entitlement. Youre making it worse for local Colombians. Too many Americans have been tipping exorbitantly. Finally food takes forever to get to your table. Expect hour+ wait time.

This was some of the best food/things Ive ever put in my mouth. Not a joke. LOL.

One of the better restaurants in Cartagena, all dishes we ate were very good, good band but a bit loud maybe unless you want to dance and they have a dance floor. Beautiful spot, very professional service

This is great restaurant. If you want delicious Peruvian food in Cartagena this is the place to go. Great food, beautiful place.

If you like ribeye this place is pretty good but our other food wasnt great. The chicken was salty and the mixed seafood grill was burnt and salty. The servers were a bit aggressive. I dont usually write reviews but the food was subpar. If you want to check out a restaurant that does not disappoint Id advise going to ANA! We had high hopes for this restaurant but didnt enjoy much.

The restaurant is gorgeous, the food is scrumptious, and the service is outstanding. I am Peruvian and was excited to try this place in CTG. This is legit, the real deal and you will not be disappointed.I had the ceviche and was absolutely perfect! We went a couple of times and everything was consistent, just an overall amazing experience.If you visit during dinner, there is live entertainment and a super chilled vibe.Only suggestions...please add the large Peruvian corn, Inca Kola and Cusqueña to your menu 🙏🏽

Incredibly delicious food. We were a group of 5 and everyone was happy with their dishes and drinks.

Our favorite place to have lunch in Cartagena, we always make sure to visit at least once when were in town. Some of the tastiest Peruvian cooking you will find.

This is my second place dining here. Both times the food was fantastic. Its kind of hard to access the menu online (look at google picturessince the website required my email address to send it. But dont let that stop you from coming. Easiest way to a table is to book a reservation online. You might not get a confirmation until 6pm the day of, but the meal is definitely worth the hype. Service is attentive, ambiance is relaxed with live music, and the food is phenomenal. I will probably book a reservation here every time I come to Cartagena. We got the filet mignon with the tuna tartare and it did not disappoint. The steak was actually cooked medium rare as ordered and the tuna was fresh and flavorful.

Has potential but didn’t deliver! Waiter could not point recommendations which immediately is a red flag for foodies. Ceviche was good (not excellent, fish both the róbalo cilantro and the panfried salmon were overcooked! Very easy fixes if the restaurant wants to stay on top.

Worse experience ever, the menu is not available on line, when you request one they just sent a spam email. when you arrived to the location there is no available parking, also the food is overrated and it is not good, i would give 0 star if i could, this is one restaurant i will not recommend or go again in any of my future visits to Cartagena

Good food , but prices are not justified . But food is very good and service was little slow to get our cocktails . Will give them one more try .

Great place for drinks and fresh seafood

Cartagena is a city with a lot of excellent restaurants, but this one was our favorite. You wont be disappointed.

I ordered the cebiche and it was very salty, the corn was not peruvian and had no spicy at all. I requested something hot and they brought me siracha. This is not something you would put in a peruvian ceviche! I would say this is not a peruvian place. The fish was good though.And the lemon in rhe cebiche and the fish chicharron tasted like a fake lemon, not the real lemon. Not sure if I would come back.

Excellent location to drink a local beer and eat great food. The view is amazing.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. This food was amazing from beginning to end. We started off with ceviche and my boyfriend who doesn’t really care for ceviche, absolutely loved it! We ordered a steak risotto and a seafood with red sauce. The steak risotto was absolutely amazing! So tender and flavorful we couldn’t stop eating it. The chocolate lava cake melted in your mouth and was rich in chocolate. The service and ambiance was good as well. We will definitely come back before our trip is over! Thank you!

Everything here is sooo good! Best Peruvian food I had in Colombia so far! Def save room for the chocolate lava cake.

The food was very good and we had a friendly service. They have a great menu with lots of variety.I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you like Peruvian cuisine.I don’t give the restaurant the full five stars because of some minor issues:- wine glasses had water stains on them.- one of our friends had to wait 10 minutes longer on his first course while we where already eating.

I absolutely loved this place. I went for dinner one night by myself and without the reservation I was still able to get a nice table. The ambiance was great and there was live music the night I went. My food was amazing I got the steak risotto and some fritter things. Everything was amazing, the server was very attentitive and the portions were large too. I had plenty of leftovers too. I highly recommended this place if youre in Cartagena for dinner.

Octopus was the best ...super tender.....ceviche Peruvian was good not exceptional.....the ribeye was tasty but not tender by USA standards....mojitos were okay but not as good as restaurant near clock tower

Excellent!Everything was delicious. One of our best meals so far. Scallops w Parmesan, carpaccio de lomo, & parrillada mariscos (seasoned perfectly).Highly recommend.

Disappointed, no much flavours, and too much sriracha sauce. Can not compare with Cuzco in Bogotá. The best part was the cocktail of a day and staff was friendly, although we all had to eat our starters and main course at the same, because they brought everything at once.

The food was amazing! The staff all wore mask. We had the 4 cheese langastino pasta, parmesan crusted scallops, and shrimp and fish (sea bass). Everything was delicious! The service was great! Our server was attentive, giving us new silverware after each course. They also gave us a bag for our masks. The appetizers came out within 10 mins and the main course was out within 30.

Food is a little on the salty side. My boyfriend had a seafood dish that was drenched in hot sauce and my risotto was on the salty side. Atmosphere was fun and beautiful. The sangria was delicious. They had a live band playing that was really nice. There was plenty of staff which were friendly and attentive.

What a wonderful experience!!!! Great food great ambience , super friendly and helpful staff . We had a pleasure to be served by Danil, she made this dinner unforgettable. We will definitely would like to come back on our next trip to Cartagena.

Excellent Peruvian! The service was a little bit slow but the food is delicious. Strongly recommend the Ceviche Andino and marinados.

Went on a strong recommendation, and we were delighted that we went. The octopus starter was one of the best dishes we had on our entire trip, and could have eaten that several more times! The main dish (Lomo saltadowas pretty good as well. Definitely recommend!

Five starts for this great restaurant. I would give 10 stars for the waiters and staff! Amazingly kind and polite, fast and always there for you - this is something that you can rarely find in Cartagena. Food was very good. And Sangria was great. Prices are bit higher then other places here but pretty much normal or cheap comparing to prices in Europe. Atmosphere is great with super cool live music.

Excellent. One of the best meals I have eaten in all my travels. It’s very busy so I would reserve next time we go so that we could sit in the garden.

Ate here on our first night in Cartagena. Was really looking for Colombian food..But knew that Peruvian food is delicious and the reviews were good. This place did not disappoint! The food was really topnotch and amazing! We had chicken causa as an appetizer...it was delicious. The potato melted in your mouth. As entrees we had salmon and shrimp ceviche and a creamy version of Lomo Saltado. The dessert Suspiro Limeño was out like eating a caramel cloud. The food was just as good as high end restaurants in Lima, Peru. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and warm. Expect to pay about $35 pp including food, drinks and dessert which might be a little expensive for Colombia, but is a steal for the quality of the food. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely eat at this restaurant again if visiting Cartagena.

One of the best restaurants to eat at in Cartegena. I had the exotic trilogy and my boyfriend had the risotto with shrimp. We also had the tuna tartar which was incredible. The food was seasoned so well and the seafood literally melted in your mouth. This place is a must! Dont forget to make a reservation!

This place is absolutely fantastic. The seafood is really really fresh as it is throughout Cartagena. The atmosphere is fantastic and restaurant is very well decorated and modern. They have really good steak too. I got ceviche and whilst it was more on the prolix side for a ceviche, it was absolutely worth every dollar of it. Wine selection is great and staff is super attentive.
