Cutters Crabhouse in Seattle

Had a spectacular anniversary dinner. Food was well priced with great portions. Between myself and my partner we had x2 cocktails, dinner and dessert. We spent 100 +tip and couldn’t be happier.

Had the freshest seafood from here!! Everything was so out of this world. Highly recommend this place for Seattle’s freshest seafood

I cant recommend this place enough. It has a quiet atmosphere which is perfect for conversation or a business meeting. Highly recommend taking a reservation since I think these days they do have a lot of tables but restrict availability based on staff levels. The food is fantastic. Each of the four members of my party had something different and everyone was blown away. Salmon, crab, and other local fare highlights northwestern cuisine perfectly. And then the view of the water caps off a great experience.

Dry.They seemed busy but it took about an hour for my meal to arrive.Starting with the calamari: I appreciate the variety but it was over cooked, dry and tasteless. It ended up being comped (thankfully)Seafood trio: the salmon was ordered medium and came out hard, overcooked and salty! Shrimp was also hard. Scallops were good.I added a 1/2 lb of Alaskan crab legs. It wasn’t spectacular or restaurant specializing in crabs good. It was also kind of dry and same quality as if I had made it at home.Overall, I’m left still hungry.The only positive experience was service from Ethan and his manager were great!

This is a good place for sure. However, for the price there should have been more food. Also, the shrimp was a bit dry. I had the "Seafood Trio" which had shrimp, scallops, and salmon. When the plate came, I didnt see scallops. So, I asked and the waiter pointed at two tiny scallops on the plate. I mean tiny. Two of them. I asked if this was the correct amount of scallops, and he confirmed that it was. Ok. Whatever. It all tasted fine, but for $40, I would think there should be at least 3 scallops, or make them jumbo scallops or something. I had to go get a 2nd dinner because this one was so meager. My son had the crab and shrimp pasta which had plenty of pasta but hardly any crab. Same dry shrimp. Id say the food was adequate. Not fantastic. For $115, Im looking for something fantastic.

*TOURIST TRAP WARNING*We made reservations only to wait. The restaurant was 90°F. The prices are insulting and portions are small. They were understaffed and the staff was pushed too hard, so the service was terrible. The food when we finally got it was delicious, the chowder is really good, I would go back to get that as take-out, but the restaurant experience itself was horrific for the price.Update: they responded to this with a bot, -1 ⭐

A true Seattle experience, while touristy it offers a great view, decent food and well prepared fish.Salmon served a perfect medium rare.Service was excellent.

The staff were very helpful and attentive. Our meals were tasty. We had delicious mock tails, too. Gorgeous view.

Arugula salad was delicious, and very fresh. Custom cocktails were very tasty, with excellent presentation. Fettuccine was quite creamy and unctuous, and portion size was perfect for lunch.

It’s not worth the price. I get that seafood is expensive, especially crab, but $60 for one king crab leg was just bonkers to me. And I can get a larger portion of halibut at my local grocer that is way better and bigger for the same price.The wedge salad was pretty good, but after spending $200 on a meal for 2 people (without alcohol), we went to a lobster roll place as “dessert.” It was way better than our meal at Cutter’s.Save yourself some money and skip this one.

The food itself was fine I suppose. But the portions for the shrimp & chicken alfredo was from the kids menu. And more importantly we had a party of 7, we came in and were seated but it took like 40 minutes AFTER we ordered to receive our food. In the meanwhile our white counterparts received THEIR food in a timely fashion. Ironically when we mentioned this to the manager the food showed up 1 minute later. Funny how that works. Would love to give this a higher score, but from our visit that wont be happening

Great views and a great meal. I got the prickly pear margarita, but also tried some of the whiskey cocktails which were delicious. We had the calamari and cheese curds to share- both very tasty. For dinner, I had the snow crab. I was eating it well after everyone else was done- a good sign in my book! Also tried the risotto which was chock full of seafood and other delicious bites. Everyone was happy with their meals!

This place has one of the best views on Pike Place Market. The staff is courteous and the restaurant is quiet and clean.Decent selection of wine. We probably didnt order the most representative dishes, so while we were happy with the presentation the food itself wasnt too remarkable. Well need to try the crabs next time, we decided not to order it because we were visiting the Paramount after and didnt want to eat anything too messy.

Absolutely stunning! Had a table right in front of the window in the back of a whole entire bay … even saw a cruise ship that was leaving for Alaska. It was beautiful, comfortable, clean, excellent service… Definitely make a reservation. The food was so fresh! Market price for most of the menu. Would definitely recommend splitting dishes. Every appetizer expected to share with multiple people. Lots of portion great in size… The crab sampler a must wonderful for the pallet excellent taste the meat was bountiful. Definitely check the wine list, go with what you know and what you like. If interested the server will pair you. Start with a glass then go from there… Bottles reasonably priced. Wonderful ambience, dim lighting. Beautiful views. $$$$

Delicious appetizers my favorite was the Manila clams in a white wine sauce flavor was just perfect not too strong of a white wine base. The artichoke dip was also amazing but hubby thought it was a bit too creamy not enough artichoke. The asparagus side was cooked to perfection crisp tender right amount of flavoring. We got the crab sampler and by far the king crab was the best. The other two dungeness and snow was a bit dry for my liking. Key lime pie was perfect!not too sweet or doughy or too much like flavoring again perfect amount of everything. Portioning might be on the smaller side but I am petites and tends to share my plate with the family anyways as we do family style and grab a few plates to share. Location and view was wonderful right near the Pike Market. Give them a try! Just because a couple of the crabs were dryer than I expected did not give 5 stars.

We had a perfect late lunch at Cutters. The crab sampler platter was so delicious, and my wife really liked the prawn cocktail and oysters as well. The ahi tuna roll was very average but stick to the main seafood chocies...you will not be disappointed. Cant wait for our next trip back to Seattle.

This may have been the best restaurant experience ever! First, a HUGE thank you to Ben, our server. He was hands-down the bestserver Ive ever had in my many years of life. Personable, efficient, great recommendations, everything.We got there early for our reservation because we wanted to have a drink and appetizer during Happy Hour. It was full but were eventually able to. JD was a great server there. I had the OldFashioned, which was very good. My daughter had the Moscow Mule. Both were a pretty heavy pour so no skimping during Happy Hour! We ordered the Crab Hushpuppies. Probably the only not perfect thing was that while they were excellent Hushpuppies, you couldnt really taste crab.Then on to our regular table. With Bens recommendations, I ordered the Wedge Salad (so much lettuce I could not eat it all!). I dont usually love blue cheese dressing, but it was very good. I had the the Mussels appetizer as my main dish. Spicy Red Coconut Curry was outstanding! Itdefinitely had a kick, so we had to order some bread, but very tasty. My daughter ordered the Caesar Salad with Coho Salmon. The bestgrilled Salmon ever. The technique for grilling was perfect and not overcooked. Too full for dessert!Excellent experience!

Great seafood! I dont like seafood, myself, but my friends who did loved it! I had the pork chop, also delicious!!! Pretty pricey but worth the time!

Visited this place a few days ago with my colleagues. Loved the place, food, and view. Everyone enjoyed their favorite lime desert. Crab cakes and legs were awesome too.

We love sea foods and in Cutters we had a geat experience of high quality sea food dinner.We loved it all, especially the Shrimps Ceviche and the Alaska king Crab Leg.The service is also very professional and friendly.

We had a lovely evening & meal last night. I made mistake on reserving the following night & our party of 4 were able to be seated within 10 minutes. I heard someone come in for “just a drink” & were told they couldn’t as the bar was unable to serve others. That makes sense since the restaurant was full & 1 bartender-and that makes sense! We live close to restaurant & had never eaten h’at Cutters before. Dinner service was excellent (thank you, Benand our meal of oysters, salads, chowder, and crab was also. We will definitely be back!

My favorite was the shrimp ceviche. Cocktails were good too.. The staff were friendly. They got nice waterview and the ferris wheel.

What a shame to call it Crabhouse because the Dungeness crab was frozen but they sold it to me as fresh. I totally regretted coming here for the Dungeness crab as my only dinner in Seattle on my trip. The artichoke crab dip was pretty good. The fresh grilled Halibut was mediocre, the vegi that comes w it was inedible, so chewy. I would have gone to Aqua if it was not Monday.

Great location! Near the hubbub but still quiet enough to enjoy a delicious meal.The mussels were a great starter. Just the right amount of sweetness in the red curry broth. The wedge salad was really good but enormous and could have been shared between two people.The king crab, while probably overpriced, was perfect. The seafood linguini was rich, flavorful and a perfect portion.The Cutter Chardonnay was dry but with just enough flavor to make it both refreshing and a lovely complement to the meal.Bottom line, you’re gonna drop some coin here, but you’ll love the dishes and ambience.

Top of the line service and delicious food! Extremely classy restaurant by the bay, great atmosphere with excellent views! Such an excellent dining experience!

I always have an exceptional experience at Cutters every. Single. Time! This time wasnt their usual. We sat at the bar and put in our order. We put both our appetizers and main dinners in at the same time. Our starters came out first, which is perfect. Then time went on and on and our main dishes never came out. Luckily, we had very very attentive servers and bartenders at the bar who noticed and took matters into their own hands. They continuously followed up with the kitchen and with us. After more time went on, they went back to the kitchen and our meals finally came out. 🙌🏽 . The downside - our food was cold 🥶 I expressed that our meals were cold and the manager came out to apologize. I cannot thank those who took care of us enough for being so attentive and for doing as much as they can for us within their scope. They appropriately escalated things without me having to get emotional. They put themselves in our shoes and handled it the way they would have wanted it to be handled. Bravo for the excellent service 👏🏽 🙌🏽

Alright this... Was a great place to eat we got in and were greeted by who I assume was the owner, he gave us a window seat to see the harbor. Afterwards we had Savannah as our waitress, we come from a desert and literally have next to no idea about fish we went with some of her suggestions and we were not disappointed. It was a fantastic dinner, if we lived here wed come back.

The food was delicious and the view was amazing. We had the grilled seafood combo and the risotto. The service was great! Id definitely visit again.

The Good. Views are beautiful and wonderful. Was able to me seated quickly with no reservation on Friday night around 6pm. Waiter was outstanding and helpful.The Bad. The food. The Fish and Chips is the worst I ever had. All thick dough. The fries were blah and cold. Our other dish shrimp risotto the shrimp were small and honestly tasted previously frozen.All in for two people no beverages was $86 w tip. Being from out of town and being a long way home this was our one “splurge” dinner by the water.

Very unhappy.I told the server that I was on a time crunch due to work. Nobody came around for 15 min, while I saw a couple in my section get service. I felt discriminated against for eating alone 😬Service is nice when you talk to them.. but frankly they should know better than to hire inexperienced staff to work a hot day like this one.I ended up just cutting my losses and eating at Hmart near home.

Food here is very good. We started with sushi and all had tge chowder. We tgen shared a snow crab platter for dinner. Great views as well.

There’re nice view and goo atmosphere.We ordered Clam chowders, a risotto and pasta. It’s a bit salty for me but taste and ingredients were good quality.Also a server’s service was good.

Undeniably fantastic. Refined and cultured, yet casual and comfy. The views of the peir and surrounding waterfront are spectacular. The food is amazing and the staff is beyond knowledgeable about each and every item.

Scallops had no flavor, mussels delicious. Would have been nice to have some bread to dip in the wonderful sauce of the mussels. Crab was good, advertised with couscous and mixed vegetables. We were told mixed vegetables were the tiny mushroom bits in the couscous. I said the order says mixed vegetables so he said ok Ill bring you some. He charged us for a few sweet peas. Disappointing, beautiful restaurant with a great menu, cutting to many corners. Oysters were delicious and fresh.

What a disappointing experience. Went to Cutters last night to celebrate my husband’s birthday. My family of 4 sat in the bar. The service was nonexistent. Appetizers came and there was no silverware or plates or napkins. Server was so busy socializing with another table that he didn’t bother to check with us. After waiting for too long we took the place settings from the tables next to us. By then, appetizers were halfway cold. We ordered more bread for out artichoke dip as very little came with it . The server forgot to order it from the kitchen. We have never experienced such a total lack of service. We asked for our bill and left and had dinner elsewhere..

Top notch as always! Excellent service is their key to a great experience. On this visit we had oysters and sushi prior to the main dish: the Crab Sampler. This is a must-have for any crab aficionado. We also tried the salmon, which was delectable! We topped the meal off with some amazing sweets and port wine.This is a great place for special occasions, and features magnificent views of the harbor. Enjoy!Olympic Otter

Great view, food and service. Ordered the House Burger. Probs one of the best burgers Ive had in a long time! Flavor was on point. The pepper jelly was a great bonus that was complimented by the saltiness of the Beechers Cheese. The patty was seasoned great and was bookended by a nice fluffy bun. The fries were crispy like I prefer. Chased it with a Rogers Pilsner which was nice and crisp. Oh... had a couple seasonal oysters on the half shell. Bruh...fuget about it!! They were de-lish, sweet and clean tasting. Stop by when visiting Pike Place Market. Parking is a challenge but you can park in the garage if you get the early enough. Enjoy yall!

I really like the location and the view. Service is pretty good. Although lately I believe the food has gone a little downhill. The calamari was overcooked and they changed the breading/batter. Overall though, I think its still a good place to go if youre visiting Pikes place market.

Went on a Tue at 515pm. Started good, apps and California roll were delish! Ordered the crab sampler and the fish trio. Crab sampler is what you would expect but so so salty. ? Too much salt? Idk. I asked for a substitute for the salmon and they gave me 2 more scallops. Plate was too hot to touch. Sat in the window under the warmer way way too long. Dry shrimp, overcooked veggies and half a teaspoon of dry dry potatoes. Service severely lacking to the point the bartender was literally sprinting thru the bar. No asking how good was, we had to flag down a server waiting for drinks to refill our water and fill my diet. Don’t blame them, if you are short staffed, close off a portion of the restaurant until you have adequate staff. Wont go backNot worth $300.00

We walked in without a reservation and got seated at a great table with the gorgeous view of the water. We then proceeded to order the coconut shrimp appetizer, which took a while to find out that they were completely out, so we ordered the crab and artichoke dip. That was great! Our entrees were the cod and chips. Terrible! They were doughy and so bland for $23. We told our waitress and she didn’t offer to do anything for us. We spent $83 on an appetizer and two orders of fish and chips. Definitely, not worth the money, but we had a gorgeous view while we ate bad food.

The bartender was super nice and attentive. Our service was friendly and attentive. I would give this place a 5-star. However, it was the host that Im not happy with. The photo I took is how the place looked from 2:45pm to now (4:47pm). We were celebrating something special and the host said we couldnt sit by the window because there were reservations. We spent $200+ here and it would have been nice to be allowed to sit where we wanted especially because we also had reservations and the place was EMPTY! We also got there at 2:45pm before our 3pm, and the host wouldnt seat us. Very odd for him to be that way. I read other reviews here with the same sentiment. Give us the water view because we would probably come back several times over. We are leaving now and all the tables by the window were all STILL EMPTY!!5 star for food, the bartender and our server. The 1-star is for the host!

Decent seafood but dont think the quality matches the price. Lavender Cosmo was the best thing we had. The salmon wasnt cooked medium rare but more medium. Scallops, mashed potatoes and pilaf were good. Small plates. Shrimp cocktail was yummy. Got the trio and king salmon dishes.

Worth the price. It has an amazing view of the ocean. The food was very fresh and tasty. Our server was super nice and helpful. Their lavender cosmo is delicious. Will definitely visit again.

We have gone here 5 times just in this month!I try something different every time , & it has always been amazing , best crème brûlée I have ever had!But, even more amazing is the ambience, and staff!I will recommend to every one I know !

Our wait staff was wonderfully friendly, helped pick out something safe for me to eat, and made sure we were all taken care of. We had lots of shots, mixed drinks, delicious food, and a great time. This place is worth another trip.

Had a cool 70s vibe to the spot. The crab cakes were very good and my jambalaya was decent. Not like you get on bourbon street in the big easy but tasty enough. My wife loved her lavender Cosmo drink.

We loved Cutters Crab house. Beautiful view of the bay while dining. The best crab artichoke dip ever The Seafood linguine in garlic sauce was the BOMB.COM!!!! Jumbalaya was also delicious. And the Cutters Louie salad was also awesome. All dishes had plenty portions of crab, shrimp, and whatever seafood the dish called for. The lavender cosmopolitan was surprisingly delicious!

Cutters was the closest restaurant to my hotel on my landrys salect club app and I decided to give it a try since it looked like a pretty nice seafood restaurant. My server was a class act and was pretty attentive throughout my dinner - I could not have asked for a better server. The clams appetizer and fresh catch salmon were off the hook! My server told me that their fresh catch salmon is from Alaska so I had to order it and it did not disappoint! The oysters, not so much - Ive had fresher for a similar price point.The rose was pretty decent and I was pleasantly surprised by their syrah! (not pictured hereIt exceeded my expectations for a $10 glass of red. Unfortunately, the bartender on duty did not know how to make an old fashioned and mixed in way too much bitters - this kinda ruined my overall dining experience. Overall, I would be willing to give this place a try again next time I am in Seattle.

Excellent seafood. The halibut was fresh, tender, and succulent. The crab and artichoke dip to start was superb. The key lime pie was one of the best Ive ever had. And our server was very nice and attentive without being too intrusive. Definitely a solid place to visit when youre in downtown Seattle.
