Curry Palace in Auckland

Went with my mum for dinner and we ordered prawn fried which didnt teste that great had a lot of french beans than prawns and it needed more seasoning.Also ordered the goat curry which looked like tomato paste and tested sweet but the goat meat was cooked well but Iam sorry to say wouldnt go there again.

One of the best Indian food place I have been to I have been going to curry palace for about 4years now the quantity and price have always been the same food is very delicious the staff are always friendly.I highly recommend will not go anywhere else have tried other Indian places but I will always stick to curry palace.😊

I would of given 5 stars if it wasnt for the fact that the staff member whilst talking to me answered the phone mid conversation.Food was fairly priced. Food tasted great. Apart from that phone hiccup the service and evening was great.17.10.22 - I have since visited another 2 times since this review and had to change my review to 5 stars.

Ordered Tikka masala through uber. Delivered within 25 mins. Tikka was delicious and perfect spice level I requested. I also received spicy Malai Kofta and Naan as complimentary. Just made my day.Thank you so much Curry Palace team.

I have always been intriqued with the traffic of customer flow in and out of this restaurant, tried it, bought a takeaway menu. The Tandoori chicken was dry, but nice char. The lamb biryani was good, enjoy it. The sheek kebab was alright. All meals was on mild. Price wise was cheap but it wasnt include rice or naan. Will rate 3 for now, will come back with a vengeance to order the spicy one, and if it taste better, will definitely give a well deserve 5 stars. All the best for the business.

The service was quick and staff was friendly. The only thing they lack is that they can change the packing containers of rice because by the time food reached home, the rice comes out of the container.

Order a Bhana chicken. Was awful straight away gone in bin. Nothing close to the Bhana taste. Plz shut your doors and stop ripping people off.

First time ordering here, good customer service. We ordered Goat curry, Butter Chicken & afew Naan breads, it was delicious, definitely coming back. And I recommend for their Goat curry.

Delicious food, some of the best curries I have tried. The staff were so wonderful asking us if we were okay, how the food was and if we needed anything else, good conversation. Also tried a lovely Masala tea which was delicious. Would definitely eat here again and recommend others to try.

Awesome food guys! First time ordered from here Tandoori chicken & Sheek Kebabs which were amazing & cooked just right! Good quality fresh salad & 2 different dips! Made my weekend great! Keep up the good work!

The food was just as everyone raved on about - brilliant. Our favourite was chicken korma. Customer service was so so lovely and made my introvert self want to engage in conversation with such warm people onsite. The space was clean, no feeling of grubiness that Id often find in similar restaurants. Was not busy with diners but many people came through for takeaways. One minor thing to note was the chicken lollipop had a hardened and thick batter coated on the chicken which I ended up just prying off. Flavour was fine just the texture of it; Minor in my opinion, but my partner had no prob, he devoured it! We 100% enjoyed all else and will be going back again!

I hardly cook Indian so felt like something nice for dinner. Did takeaway lamb madras. Nothing special, 5 pieces of diced small lamb pieces and creamy sweet gravy. Naan was hard, not nice too eat. Good to try, won’t order or go here again, not my cup of tea.

If you looking for Indian curry according to your test try to visit this place. Where you can enjoy number of curries with variety of Naan.Moreover, you can try some fastfood fryers such as pakore.Good service, cheap price and many items to enjoy here.

Please dont ever get your food from them…as soon as we opened the box…it stinks sooo bad….this was the 1st and last time that i bought food from u guys…just wasted my money on u…..please guys dont have this kind of food it can even make u sick!!!!!

A small scale takeaway. Located just at a junction is the worst place to be as parking matters. Food tasted ok. Seemed to me that they are only offering takeaways.. No dine in allowed yet.

Order was placed as Takeaway and received spoiled food Jal Frezi wherein as we opened the box , food was stinking especially beans and carrots. Called restaurant and explain the same, but worst part didn’t even said sorry or apologise. Even the duty manager too. Took the take away back to restaurant and during the conversation also didn’t said Sorry. Even they came to know their mistakes. This is very bad experience

I live less than 2kms from the restaurant, I got my food delivered after one hour. I am not happy with it! Its Not my problem if you have one delivery driver. Hire staff!

Ive been here on a few occasions, dined in and had take away. Lamb Kadai, Chicken Madras both very good. Spice level just right for me - great value too!

Favourite curry place in Papatoetoe! Im a classic butter chicken lover and they do it here well. The also have other yum stuff too.The have an awesome deal $13.50 for curry, rice, naan and drink! super deal.

I am not a big fan of Indian food, but the food I had here….was very impressive! The cheese naan and butter curry were amazing. I would miss the flavor and definitely come again.

The staff was welcoming upon our arrival. We ordered chicken do pyaaza, malai kofta and garlic naan. Both the curries were delicious; we got what we asked for in terms of level of spice. The quantity was sufficient and didnt had to wait too long. The naan is particular was very soft and is one of the best we had in ages. I would love to visit them again and try some other dishes in menu.

The food here is of great quality, the pricing is a bit on the expensive side especially very recently many of their items have increased in price. Id highly recommend the chicken biryani, it is one of the best value products sold on their menu. The location is off GS road and Tui road which are 2 very busy intersecting roads making it hard to access the roadside parking. Overall, nice Indian cuisine.

Ive been a regular customer here. I order Biryani and quite a few times ordered Roti and rice with Mughlai chicken. The taste was so delicious! Very good service as well. Keep up the great taste and service. Thanks to Curry Palace.

Love the vegetarian food. Have been visiting every week for the last month to try different dishes. Service is great and very good value for money. Highly recommend this place. Hubby also loves the meat dishes.

Not too bad for VFM. Food portion and service are apt for the pricing. Decent beer and wine selection as well as a basic spirit listing. Food is homely and not too spicy or oily. Chinese food can be improved as Ive had better at other places.

Nice food in good quality and quantity. Better one if anyone looking for Indian taste in Papatoetoe. Quantity is much better than any other place, really value for money.Note than its not a very big place and dont expect that kind of ambience, good place for good food🙂

Love the food most places put less meat in your meal but I got plenty of it.Will definitely return again for dinner.

Food is really nice and cheap, all they need to change their crockery and have to look over the toilets as the condition is not good.I love their friendly service.*Also they need to change their music theme, because they are playing punjabi gangster songs in a family restaurant doesnt looks nice isnt it ?.I hope, when i may visit next time feel more relaxed with calm indian flute or with something likr polite music.
