Curry Leaf Seremban - Indian restaurant in Seremban, Malaysia
Very smooth order taking, the guy who prepares the drinks was very friendly
Lately the breakfast is not good. 2 mths ago bought roti canai was not cooked properly.. I called he says Boss was not around.. last week bought roti canai was ok .... And today bought not properly cooked and very hard to eat.. we are coming from far to buy .. pour petrol and travel even though within in seremban it cost of money also.. when call today there is no supervisor and Boss around thats what the staff are telling. .now need to to consider buy breakfast ... Before mco every Saturday we took breakfast there was ok... But now not..... Waisting of money
Curry Leaf has a very good variety of Indian breakfast dishes that cannot be found everywhere. They have 2-3 varieties of idly alone. Food is good. Prices ok. Clean place. Good service but as always can use more smiles and thank yous.
Had vegetarian banana leaf for lunch. Vege given guess just to βsmellβ it. A teaspoon amount on each vege served.N extra will be charge if u ask for more. Usually if any restaurant, banana leaf set, veg can be add on. . mooru kolumbu.. sweet, no taste of t curd. Price paid not worth the amount served.. it is not t first time.. always go there hoping for some improvements but come out disappointed..as always π
Aloo gobi is way too oillly ... the oil is dripping down from the cauliflower. The garlic naan is ok, though i prefer the branch in bandar utama. Chapati and palak paneer is nice
The Indian foods tastes good. They do serve light meals for breakfast and dinner. Their lunch with curries and varieties of items tastes good too.
Basic Indian food at a reasonable price. Been around for many years and this has shop has banana leaf meal with 8 dishes at a go
Popular for both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. Long established. Received recognition from the royalty for delicious food and cleanest outlet.
Recommended for the naan, tandoori chicken & banana leaf rice. Accept all major eWallets & restaurant is very clean with friendly staffs
I really enjoyed my food here. It was super tasty the banana leaf meal. Service staff was friendly albeit a bit slow. Other than that, it was all good. Instead of three veges theyll give you 5. Also its a one time on the vege only. Any extra you will be charged for it. For us it was enough as the onion curry was good and filling with 5 portions of the Vege. Do drop by here if youre nearby Seremban Town.
Great food choices but price slightly on the high side. Cow milk tea was awesome.
Good food.. Good choice for banana leaf rice whoever visited Seremban..Nice naan and chapati as well.. must give a try!
Went for breakfast. Food very moderate. Ordered rawa tosai. Came plain without any onion, curry leaves or spices. Masala tea was okay. Rawa idli was hard. Overall food needs improvement
Staff are friendly, food not bad, 2xBanana leaf rice with 1xFried and 1xCurry Chicken and 1xfried veggie dish and 1 ice tea =Rm34.. most important, it was not crowded, had pretty relax lunch here
Best banana leaf in malaysia. Where else could u get 8 vegetables well cooked with rice. And for side order u can order non veg. Well priced. If u are in seremban town do visit.
Food is moderate. Service a bit slow. But waiters are goodThose was good. However, I dont like the notice on the wall, commanding no sharing of meals and extra charges for vege. Thats not banana leaf, thats not indian culture. Usually I dont try banana leaf food at such place.
Tasty good. Mutton curry taste superb. Fried fish quite fresh but not enough marinade
Food was good but service maybe a little slow.Maybe lack of staffs.Price wise .......πππWorth its money.
No star for this restaurant food is delayed for long time without any excuse is given until we need to notify your waiter, I do understand with current situation the might be some delays in providing the service to customer but please not too long until we need to remind about our order to your waiter!!!! Food tastes moderate.
Usualy crowded during lunch hour. No place to sit at times. Food are delicious and prices are reasonable. Staffs makes the effort to give an excellent service. Should come back again to have their banana leaf dishes.
Never go there if you are really hungry... you will lose your temper there. Served leaf waited 15 mins. Served rice waited another 10 to 15 mins for curry. Facepalm.
Very less choices in morning, but the staffs are provided good service.
No fried rice at 11.40 a.m. they say only available 12.30....the lime drink is made from cordial syrup....come one cant u make lime juice from fresh lime , all mamak restaurant can give you fresh lime juice...limited food variety for banana leaf food....only plus point of this shop is its clean n toilets are clean.....
the one star is given for the food taste but its not worth for the price charge..too expensive..and if you choose to eat banana leaf set meal then for the second round is chargeable extra price.... so pls change your method of charging the price accordingly..its not worth it..the chicken manchurian taste useless
Very friendly and polite waiters serving you. Very delicious roti canai, roti telur, roti planta, nasi lemak, and variety choices of food and drinks waiting for you, from breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Poor customers service. To order take away roti canai take ages to do. If you in a rush so not order take away. The cashier the Chinese big size lady never smile and seem like everyday in bad mood. Food reasonable okay but on high side. Honestly service is bad and very slow. Cleaniness acceptable. This restaurant used to be good during the lady boss in charge but now the husband in charge the service is bad. Go there is you have ample time available and can wait. Food nothing special and not that delicious as previously. Consistency not there.
I had dinner here with a friend. The garlic nan was nice while still hot/warm. 1st experience, will try the other menus when there are opportunities.
Nice banana leaf restaurant. The fish and chicken was so good there. The main dish is chicken peratal.. Omg its really super hot and spicy... No words... Very good customer service and excellent quality... Very clean and tidy... Moreover the drinks all so good there... Fresh fried dishes will serve there and the price also a bid reasonable... Recommended place for foodie
Not the best experience. Does not deliver on taste nor quality. I ordered chicken varuval and it came as chicken curry. I then asked if this was varuval and they said yes and walked off. It clearly was chicken curry. The chicken pieces were partially cooked and was raw in the middle. The yogurt drink was off as well. It seemed as if they have used spoiled yogurt to make it. Everything was cold despite being there at 12.15pm. Dissapointed. The mee hun goreng is not great either. Bland and did not have any vegetables in it. I would not recommend this establishment for your banana leaf fix.
Service very fast, very friendly staff, my and our favourite shop, they are open until 10pm, ordered roti nan and nasi goreng, which was superb, atmosphere is cool and calm, nearby to a bakery shop.
Well there are a lots of choices of food but the taste of most of them I would say moderate ratings only. Cleaniess of the restaurant very good.
Malaysian Indian food with ample of varieties for lunch or dinner. They serve value for money banana leaves. You could get thosai, naan or mee goreng during lunch time when other restaurants will not allowed. Price is very reasonable. This is an open restaurant. Parking is limited during office hours. You can park in the opposite Shopping Mall, Starling Mall.
Excellent North Indian food based on curries
Expensive for food that was mediocre. Ridiculous price of warm water per person i.e. RM1
Nice good food but very expensive for a food joint in Rasah. Unlike typical banana leaf restaurants, you can NOT have seconds for the vegetables unless you pay extra. The waiters will ignore your calls most of the time too..shhsh..
The taste and array of food offered is only average. I have tasted better food elsewhere in terms of partaking Indian food. Nothing special about the place except that it is way too expensive as compared to other Indian restaurants in Seremban. With the exorbitant price that they are charging, I will not make a second trip as other Indian restaurants in Seremban offers better variety and at a much much cheaper price tag. Eating at this restaurant will definitely burn a hole in your pocket!
I love eating here. All the meals are delicious and clean.Helpfull waiter/waitress.But its pricy. You can eat here once in a while, since their meal is the same(not much of variety).
Very bad service. Very slow waiters. They took half n hour to serve a parata. Waste of time money and energy.
The food is ok, however if you come here after 6 PMTry the Cheesnun its the best in Malaysia
For an Indian restaurant offering banana leaf meal is less appropriate if you have a long t&c..all rice n vegetables serving will be done only once by their staff.. additional request for the same is chargeable.. defeats the purpose of banana leaf meal..
Food very average , price is okay , place is super clean. Dont expect too much but its a good option
Very expensive!! Badly under staffed. Food was OK. Nothing to shout about. There were 7 of us. 3 of them had banana leaves, 3 taken mixed rice, and one had only drink. All of it came up to 88.80. Will never come back to this restaurant.
Quite authentic South Indian place. Nice, clean. Many varieties during lunch. (Breakfasts not so). Reasonably good tastes.Quite pricey....I portion of mutton dish costs RM10. Parking is a bit of a problem.Note : they charge for additional servings of veggies, which is surprising for a banana leaf meal.(Normally veggies are "free flow" on banana leafs. They explained that since they are providing 8 items, shouldnt need additional servings. Besides, seems many customers are sharing the banana leaf, sort of abusing the concept).
At last... Satisfied my craving for banana leave rice π today... Been quite awhile since I last patronized this famous Indian restaurant in the town of Seremban. It is located near to the General Hospital of Seremban. This restaurant offers wide variety of food to choose from- vegetarian, briyani, chicken, mutton, naan, fried, rice, noodles and etc. But one I couldnβt resist is the banana leaf π rice π- generous amount of dishes to go along with it- tasty π. I usually add one or two meat to go along with it- mutton is highly recommended and the honey π― chicken π is delicious too. Not to forget the complimentary papadam- Just marvelous and enough to fill my stomach for a day π±. Go and try if you are around the town of Seremban. Parking is quite π and the restaurant can be packed during peak hours. Be prepared to wait as the waiters do take quite long to attend/ prep ur foods/ drinks.
The food is nice and there are many variety to choose from. Price is expensive but its worth to pay for it due to the cleanliness of the restaurant. The restaurant got a "Grade A" cleanliness certification which is very rare to see it in others restaurant. Parking maybe a problem because there are limited parking space around it.
I came with family here on the way back home from a trip to have dinner. We ordered nasi goreng kampung(village fried rice), nasi goreng seafood(seafood fried rice, thosai(indian style bread), fish n chips, roti canai telur (Indian style bread with egg), Apple juice n plain water. It all came to rm30++. We were surprised n satisfied with the food, drinks n price.
Been coming here for years intermittently. Food quality is terrible now. Same for the drinks. Cutlets taste like flour, all dishes are excessively salty. No where near how it used to be.
Poor service. Waiters forget your orders frequently. Food taste is poor and expensive. For banana leaf meals, vege dishes are complimentary free flow and part of the experience however this restraunt charges for any aditional servings of vege. The reviews here are obviously written by people who dont know good delicious banana leaf food.
The service rendered by the waiters are very slow and sometimes they overlook the order taken. The price of the food also very expensive. The food is taste and the mutton in the plate given is very small quantity not worth for the price.
Great taste with at least 5 or 6 non ala carte dishes served on the banana leaf. Great price too. My wife and I called for 2 other dishes and drinks. It cost us a total of RM31.20. Great treat.
