Good techno, you can have fun here but audience is mostly mainstream folks. People busy getting super drunk, hitting up girls, dancing with each other, snapchatting, walking around etc. Tourists are there. But also some good people! Good backup if youre not accepted in Ved Siden Af.

Nice bouncer, pretty good music during Distortion week. Danced for hours! Goes until 8am supposedly…

Very nice club, very cozy! Had lot of great expirences here, they guys who made this place know what there doing! Its for techno fans nothing else. Sounds system and acoustic is great, Ive been to many clubs and gotta say that its definatly the best techno club in Northern europe. Ive believe its berlin inspired and the creators took care in creating a great expirence for clubgoers.

SUPER nice staff: bouncer, ticket, jacket and bar, every one was extremely friendly!Music was great, upper flow heavy techno and lower one more tech housey stuff and progressive house (pretty good sets on both floors tbh)Had a great time and definitely would go back😊

Music was quite nice - on Mediocre sound system though. The audiance was super weird. A lot of peaple you would rather expect at a top 10 club night than on a techno rave. Girls wearing high heels, gym-bros wearing tight shirts and gold chains. And lot of people more busy with getting extremely drunk and snapchatting than actual dancing

I really liked going in this techno night club. They have well being rules that you have to accept to go there, which are good for having fun and feel safe. It’s 150DKK to enter in, but that’s because we need to pay for the artists performing there (not compulsory to buy drinks). There are many lights that are played in harmony with the music rythm; that is really cool ! There are two rooms the black and the red, so that you can choose who you want to listen to. You can find artist playing there for a given date on the website.If you don’t want to be in the crowd, you should come for before 1am, but otherwise you can dance here all night long until 8am (on Saturday’s).I recommand without hesitating !

One of the most known techno clubs in CPH, definitely worth a visit. Considering the pretty high entry fee I would recommend to go there when a more famous artist comes but you can enjoy good music even in other random nights

I’ve been in many clubs around the world but this one is unique and amazing it have 2 places upstairs and downstairs playing 2 types of music so you will always find what you want, people there are very friendly and even visitors have a good attitude.

Very nice venue on two floors. The entrance was pretty high with 22€, but the drinks are ok for CPH. The audience is mixed but many hipsters, like in every good club in Europe.. people are friendly and respectful aaaaand handsome ;sound was stunning this night. I ll come again

Couldnt make a better choice for the nightclub experience in Copenhagen. Really good lineup of music, crowd and even the bouncers were good folks for conversation.

Was there on techno rave. Not bad. Im not impressed but I think its good level for Copenhagen.

Awesome techno club. The "Tresor" of Copenhagen. People giving 1 star should never had gone there in the first place. If u dont like underground techno, house.. Etc this is not the place for you.Like the booze vending Machine at the entrance. Buy a beer while waiting in line 🍺

Vey nice place indeed for what the nights in Copenhagen have to offer regarding clhb partying. Sound system at the place is incredily good, having in mind that the disposal of the place is a bit weird, gets some strange turns where you wander around throghout the low light halls, the sound is actually quiet good all around, of course that the main area gets and awesome one for a good electronic non-stop dancing. Went there a couple of times and had both experiences, being not that cool, as they DJ wasnt that good and it was not that full either. But you can aswell find a boom party someimes, packed with dancig people and really excellent DJs, aswell as also many reknown ones too that play there from time to time. I personally like the low light and underground atmosphere of the place in general. On the downside, it is actually quiet pricy, sometimes not that much, but generally can be. The bar is a bit expensive aswell.It deffinitely worths a visit some time at least.

The place used to be really good with music and crowd. Now the focus changed a bit, the lineups are still good but the crowd not so much. Its more commercial and marketed. Still, a decent place to go out to.

Cool concept where you have different genres of electronic music in different rooms as "boxes". Last night we had Mark Knight playing in the upper box and some local DJs in the lower box. Very authentic Techno bunkers 😉😎🤩

One of the best venues for electronic music in Copenhagen. The place varies a lot from night to night depending on which DJs theyve hired, so be sure check the event out before going.

The only club with underground music line-up every weekend.Big names do come sometimes, if you’re lucky...All smooth and nice.

Very poor experience. Waited for 30 minutes in front of the club and 30 minutes for warderobe. It was way too crowded on the Dancefloor. Do not recommend

Good club, good dj, good music, had free beer for one hour, but later got so crowded that you had to force your way in and out of the box. Air got tense and was well off near the aircon spots. Not enough for famous dj performances.

Between 23:00 and midnight, the entry fee covers free bottled beer, as many as you can chuck down in an hour.Before 01:00, the place isnt very packed yet, but it allows for perhaps securing a spot downstairs (Red Boxif youre going with a larger group.The main area (Black Boxopens at midnight.There is a smokers lounge inside.There are plenty of bars, but not all of them serve cocktails and the full selection of drinks. Be sure to ask for special offers if youre looking to buy shots.Other than that, its by far the best club in town.Reading a few reviews, it seems people arent always getting what they expect. Just to make sure everybody understands this. Culture Box:- Does not play EDM- Does not play Eurodance- Does not present an environment for those who are mostly interested in having people watch them and their dance movesBut, it does offer:- Techno, Tech House, Deep House and many other genres- An atmosphere and a setting which caters for those who are interested in the above mentioned genres of music and/or dancing until the sun risesManage your expectations and requirements. Dont blame Culture Box for maintaining a consistent line-up of artists within a smaller spectrum of the electronic music genres available. Generally, the go-to place in Copenhagen for some decent electronic, tech-house, techno music.Entrance normally priced at 80kr. However, drinks are quite expensive (as always). A basic tonic was 30kr, and imported Club Mate was 45kr!Only one of the two rooms were opened the night I went. Smoking allowed in front part, but nobody cares.What bothered me were the bar tables just next to the dancefloor...if one wants to dance, why put chairs in that area?

Im not sure how popular this club in CPH, to be honest, wasnt so bad but I cant consider as good experience. It was the Depeche Mode after-party. First, the entry queue was unorganized, we had prepaid on PayPal with barcode but the queue was mix with people without prepay, after 15mins waited in cold, one staff with prepaid guests list help ease the queue but with no barcode scanner, no touch either to read the list in dark. Finally made inside, but surprisingly its pretty small inside, downstairs played Depeche Mode already packed with people no room to stand, upstairs with 80s music, not many staying there. Why?? The place is full of trap. Flooring is uneven, staircase is narrow, it would be lucky if no one injure. Dont think I would come for after-party, as over price charged for such venue! And no taxi outside for this pop club? Unbelievable!

Went here for the Depeche Mode After Party once the gig at Telia Parken had finished. It was pretty great. In the upstairs room they played back to back Depeche Mode tracks and downstairs they played a range of 80s songs. It was only slightly ruined by the DJS who had to play a constant house beat under the DM tracks - so what are varied songs with interesting variations of rhythm became a bit samey and plodding. You dont need to do this. It ruins perfectly good songs for no good reason. On a night like this DJS need to get over themselves and just play the proper tracks. The place was full of DM fans, not house adicts with difficulties dancing. Theres a good little smoking part of the upstairs bar and the people seemed pretty relaxed. Id recommend this place for this particular night. No idea what its like normally though.

Loved it. Great electronic sets, nice crowd and moderate prices for Denmark. Very raw and underground feel.

TERRIBLE. Only good if youre on drugs.Arrived at 11.30pm and it was practically empty, despite being told it was busy before going in. The music was painfully bad. Was hoping for some decent dance music but found only the type of mind numbing music you would bash your head against a wall to while on heavy drugs. Really disappointed. We stayed 10 minutes and then walked out. We couldnt get a refund either which was annoying.

Good for getting lost in the music. Not so ideal for hanging out for a drink. This is a dance music venue that focuses on the Artists and the music

Great underground music (mainly techno but some house nights do occurand the size is just right. Some people have complained about the entry costs (80-100DKKbut for the amazing experience and the cheap bar prices I really dont see the issue. The crowd is generally very friendly although some full nights can include the odd tosser whos trying to start drama. The Martin audio sound system upstairs is great, and the Void speakers downstairs fit nicely too. Generally it feels like a mini fabric in atmosphere, architecture and music.

Easily one of the best spots for techno and house in Copenhagen, two dance floor with really solid bookings. However ... on some nights the place is packed with tourists (you know the drunk kind thats not dancing but only there to find girlsBUT if the booking is solid go there! Some nights when there is a lot of locals Ive really enjoyed it. Dont go there before 01

Only good place for electronic music in Copenhagen. Sadly, the locations are a bit too much "Berlin before it got hip". Id youre into that go ahead. If you want something more fancy, where you can breathe after 2 a.m. Look elsewhere

Culture Box is the place to be in Copenhagen if you are passioned about great Techno and House music djs and musicians.Since 2016 the Venue has lost State support and that might hurt the quality of the line ups but, still, this place has a solid reputation and a great sound system. Is here to stay.Sometimes the vibe can be lacking, so thats why "only" 4 stars, otherwise itd be 5!

Awesome place, but definitely not for everyone. The music is only electronic and often in the techno alley. Its real underground and a bit gritty, but in the good way. It generally builds a nice and intimate atmosphere with the artist performing because of the small size of the club.

If buildings could speak, this one would be screaming "RUN AWAY".I think I smelled ebola on the walls. Staff is rude and violent. I feel stupid for going there and I wish i spent the 100 dkk on socks.
