Cullendulla Creek Nature Reserve - Nature reserve in Batemans Bay, Australia
Quiet place to relax on the beach. Unfortunately dogs arent allowed.
It was great couldnt ask for a better quick stop beach
Nice place, good broadwalk
Lovely walk and calm beach
Nice easy walk along the beach and wooden walk way above the creek
May be I was there at a wrong time because the beach was covered by a high tide. There are plenty of seashells and some beautiful flowers on the pathway though.
Beautiful place on the south coast old walkway holding up
Great walk, well maintained path at the beginning but badly maintained and signposted after 500 metres. You need Google maps to follow the track correctly.
From the carpark follow the boardwalk path to the protected bay. Then continue around the beach until you see the sign for the circular walk.
Tranquile Paradise right here!
Great place for a walk on the sand flats at low tide.
Nice fir a walk but limited walking tracks available
Just a very beautiful spot to see at times dolphins sea Eagles and the peace that is the Bay
Went for a quick visit to have a look around.short walk around mangroves and beach area,I think would be good for photography but would need an extended visit probably early morning.
Have visited for the last 30 years. Has changed due to tides and fires but great area for young kids. Calm waters.
Nice short walks
Easy walk. Nice hidden beaches
Beautiful. Well hidden, you need to look to find it.
A beautiful walk up the creek along the boardwalk. At low tide you can walk along the sand flats all the way out to the yachts .This is a wildlife reserve, please keep your pets at home when visiting.
Wow an stunning place. You can have a broader view of the Batemans bay and the cool view of horizon. We whet there in the morning, it was absolutely beautiful. It should be even gorgeous at the early morning with golden clouds.
Interesting displays.
Beautiful walk (approx. 1 hour), but in places the path wasn’t very well sign posted and the beaches were covered with washed up tree branches. Great for a short walk and to catch a glimpse of the local wildlife (crabs, kangaroos and lizards), but don’t bother going if your only interested in the beaches.
The short walk on the beach is ok and the short biardwalk too but its pretty hot and featureless otherwise and not child friendly - we saw one family abandon their pushchair and just carry their child. So ok for adults or high school kids but I wouldnt take youngsters unless I was walking straight to the beach and jumping in...
Just a delightful little walk. We found shells wed never seen before (and returned it to the beach)
Great nature walk. Easy access. Great for little kids. Plenty of purple bay crabs and tode fish
Lovely beaches, nice to have a long walk
Got some nice fish outside the reserve area off the bank
Beautiful relaxing walk, crystal clear water, lots of marine life spotted
No facilities but were not expecting any! And who needs anything when you have this view! Lovely 1.2km walk. About 2km walk from carpark. We easily dawdled it with a 2 and 4 yr old in an hour.
Clear water and nice bush walking
Great beach and boardwalk
Nice area for a swim, picnic & for a walk & sit by the ocean.
Great place þo take the kids for a walk
Beautiful place and peaceful environment. There a walking track of approx 2 kms along the beach you can see small fish jumping in and out of the water. There iz also a walking wooden bridge which leads you bush track. It waz very safe to walk around the tracking arrea.Very easey to access and its pretty much next surfers point.
Great place to see soldier crab at low tide.
A beautiful little spot immediately north of Batemans Bay in a suburb called surfside. Theres a little car park at the beginning of the walk you can leave your vehicle. It is mostly flat. With board walks and track, however part of it crosses sand and beach. This walk highlights the beauty of south Coast estuaries where a multitude of wildlife lives. Youll often see young fish, crabs and bird life wandering about. In this area, there are also aboriginal middens which you can learn more about by reading the signs. This is a protected habitat; that means no fishing and dogs are also prohibited from my understanding.
There is me 12 black swans in the area it is beautiful. Hubbie is enjoying a fish in the crer
Beautiful sandy n shallow beach... nice warm water in summer. Ideal for your kayak or boat ride
Visited both parts of this reserve on each side of Culledulla Creek. The Western side has nice beach walking and swimming, with a pleasant board walk out into the mangroves on the creek with informative signs. The Eastern side has square head track, with nice trees and palms and views across to Batemans Bay. One of my favourite places on the bay.
Beautiful little spot, we went down the path to the left to a little secluded beach with plenty of shade and calm water for the kids to play in. No facilities but none required.
Interesting beach Walk and boardwalk through a Cypress preserve.
Significant to local Indigenous peoples and beautiful reserve. Great for kids.
+ great round walk about 2 km on the beach and walkways+ thousands of crabs along the river+ cangoroos at the beach
Great flat little walk behind surfside beach. Easy walking and very peaceful for solo walks, couples or the family!
Nice walk in the mangroves
Reserve has been cleared. We love the rockpools and shells at beach.Despite signs dogs are still walked on beach.
An interesting short walk through the mangroves and casuarinas of Cullendulla creek. Inland, walk through stands of swamp oaks, the casuarinas, and loop around to come back via a boardwalk above the mangroves of the creek. Plenty of things to see, and a number of small plaques with information about the habitat and the plants and animals that live there.
This is a nice beach with soft sand and small waves. Its not a dog beach and there are signs up saying "no dogs allowed". Nevertheless we saw plenty of dogs on the beach, on and off the leash.A fisherman caught a small shark off the beach while we were there but it didnt look dangerous.
Peaceful bush walk and tranquil beach, what more could you ask for!!? What about cute wildlife and breathtaking shells!?A magnificent easy to do stroll through the reserve will certainly be a gorgeous experience. We saw 100s of tiny crabs and colourful birds. Walked along the shore with water lapping at our toes and found hermit crabs and amazing shells for our collection. Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
Calm beach and tranquil boardwalk to watch wildlife from. Great for families.
