Culichi Méxican seafood Bar & Grill in Greensboro

The place looks like fun but today they had no electricity. They seem like nice people and I wish I could have eaten there. I will return soon and upgrade my rating hopefully.

0stars. But I had to give 1 to write a review.My wife and I Got the 7 Mares Caldo. Was supposed to have oysters.. shrimp.. octopus.. mussels.. fish.. crabs.. calamariIt had like 3 mussels. 3 shrimp. And 1 crab leg cluster.Broth was flavorless. It smelled better than it tasted. Nothing special. And they forgot my hot sauce and limes. So disappointed!!! Ordered that and 2 drinks my total was $50.Never again. SMH

Charges 18% more if you spend more that 100 dollars ridiculous. And it was only 3 of us. Raw shrimp, and crab legs were cold. I’ve been there plenty of times and food was great but recently its just been bad

Drinks are good but the food is very disappointing.Not sure how the restaurant can be called Culichi with these aguachiles.The shrimp seemed to be cooked/boiled already, very stiff and with only green sauce on top not cooked with lime.Not Sinaloa style at all.

The food was ok but the service was horrible. The waitress never came and checked on us at all. We was never asked if we needed anything. It seems that having to serve Black peoplewas a problem. Will never eat there again.

First time visit. Very impressed. Friendly staff. Family oriented. Live music Saturday night. Mariachi band Sundays. Food is flavorful and fresh. Will definitely be back 😋

Atmosphere and staff was great! Prices arent too bad either. Crab legs were not hot and a bit overcooked but the steak and shrimp ACP was delicious. Large portions.

Slightly more interesting take on the usual Mexican fare. While the sign advertises Mexican seafood, there are only a few such dishes, and they are much higher prices then the usual arroz con pollo and fajitas. But there are a few interesting items among the usuals, and the usual are quite good and wont disappoint this looking for the typical Mexican restaurant experience.

A bill of over $400.00 with the worst service ever!!! We got there and asked to be seated in the main area and they refused to seat us there for the moment but told us they would with time but seated someone who arrived after us where we had requested. Then our molcajetes were cold and the worst part was where they gave all of us our food but forgot about my 10 year olds food, I had to get up and request it from someone. They acted like it hurt them to serve us but did not hurt them to automatically charge a $66.00 tip to our check. We have been there plenty of times but today was the absolute worst service I have ever received at any restaurant I have ever gone too. McDonald’s would have been better!!!

We are visiting from out of town and wanted something authentic. This place didnt disappoint. Very authentic and food was delicious. My only complaints was the music was too loud and service wasnt the best. Took them awhile to seat us and awhile to get chips and salsa. Our waitress was great, but seemed a little overwhelmed towards the end. I dont think it was her fault, so I doubt it is a normal occurrence.

Ok service speaking Spanish is a plus because authenticity of the restaurant and service provided. Food was banging. Definitely stop by if your in the area at camped out at red roof or Quality inn

Found this place by accident while in town recently for a professional wrestling event. Food was excellent, staff was friendly & helpful (my family and I got a kick out of their Christmas sweaters), and the girl who was singing was pretty good. I had a good view from our table of a TV covering the funeral procession for Vicente Fernández. Id give 6 stars if I could. Well be back.

The manager John took really good care of us and made us feel like we were at home. All the food was excellent and the portions were perfectly sized. This is definitely our new Mexican food spot in Greensboro.. thanks John.Edit: went in for lunch as usual today except for the fact that we were not allowed to order from the lunch menu (@12:30).. we asked for the menus and the waitress was told not to give them to us by the host up front. Essentially forcing us to order from their expensive dinner menu.. there was something sneaky about the whole situation.. will not be going back

I came Friday night and they took automatic the tip from my credit card I didnt asked .. even they got a sign saying after 5 people in a table they do it.. we were only 4.my husband and my 2 kids.. I feel robbed from them. I will not come back. I always give tip everywhere I go.. but. I do cash.. this people is taking advantage 😡😡😡

The best Mexican food I have ever ate. The size of the meal was mind blowing. The taste was unreal. Gezzz cant say how good it was . Huge and I mean huge portions and it was sooooooo good. The best. Great people working there and even customers coming to you asking what did you get it looks amazing. And all I could say was more than amazing. I will go back here and drive 45min to do so. Highly recommend you eat here.

OMG the food was great The Waitresses were even better!! U must see for yourself!! I felt like they were gonna treat me differently cause I was Black I mean like Really Black but No I sat at the Bar and kept ordering more!! Yo cant find the receipt right now but I dropped $200 in there!!!! And YES IT WAS WORTH IT..Wish I knew they names but YES if u got time visit 😉it will be GREAT.

Went there for a family dinner. The food was wonderful and came out in a timely manner. Service left a little bit to be desired due to the fact that out waiter didnt come back to fill any drinks and we had to ask multiple times for the same items for the children at our table.

I went for the first time with my kids this evening and we were all very impressed. The food was very good and we had plenty of leftovers. The server was very attentive and kind..I wish I remembered her name. There was live mariachi ❤️💗. We will DEFINITELY BE BACK.

The food was just terrible. We got there at 9:30pm but they close at 11pm. I am not sure if they were just tired or just did not care. My steak torta had little meat and a big block of cheese. The steak was hard with no flavor. The carnitas were just not good. I have been there before and the food was really good. Just this time noone in my party of 10 ate it.

This place is best known for their seafood dishes. But, in my opinion, they should be better known for their drinks. The food we ordered didn’t have much flavor. My wife had a fried fish, and I had the guacamole ranchero and some tenders and fries. I think they forgot to season the food. But the services was excellent and the atmosphere was good. I would come back. They tell me that on the weekends, this place gets packed.

The wait is super worth it! Their seafood platters are very affordable and delicious. I recommend their Mariscada for a family meal as they’re huge and cheap. Will be coming back for sure!

Choices of food are great. Unfortunately the picture Id seen and the order that came is 2 different thing. Another thing is my Paella is way too salty; I simply cant enjoyed it. And the live music is way too loud for that small space.

This restaurant rocks. Food was delicious and they support the community. These kids r refugees and immigrants enjoying a day out. they had a blast : for many was their first restaurant experience. Please support Culichi! they r an awesome group of generous people 😍😍

Ive noticed this place for a while but its location makes it easy to pass-up but make sure you stop by, you wont regret it! Horchata was out of this world...one of the best Ive had! Waitstaff was very nice and friendly on my after-work dinner! Will come again!

Service is great, the food is good, but their drinks are awesome. I had a michelada bandit was amazing. I would go back just for the drinks.

Authentic Mexican seafood! My pal had a ceviche and I had a magnificent medley of seafood in a rich cream sauce, served in a half pineapple with rice, vegetables and mole. The place was awfully quiet that evening but beautifully decorated in bright, warm colors and adorned with various fishing gear on the walls. The beer was cheap and cold and large! Our staff were friendly and delightful. Check this place out if you like an extensive seafood menu.

First time here a friend recommended it. But I was not impressed. Ordered a molcajete. The rice was good but the molcajete was not sizzling or steamy. The meat was dry. The cheese was half cold half warm. The only interesting thing was the michelada my husband ordered.

First time coming to this very niche and homey Mexican restaurant. Plentiful seating with nice bar area. I have to say what blew me away was the seafood platter or better known as “La Mariscada” the platter serves 3-4 depending on how much people eat but it is an abundance of food, tons of shrimp, ceviche, octopi, breaded fish, oysters plus more! Definitely recommended!

I ordered camarones a la cucaracha you get about 12-15 shrimps for $24 a bit pricey but I understand the food wasnt what I expected Ive had way better. But I might try something else next time I gave it three stars because service was good always checking up on me

Everything was delicious! Service was amazing! Atmosphere was fun. The portions were large. The drinks were yummy and amazing. The people who worked at the restaurant were so friendly and recommended great drinks and dishes. Even with the kids the workers were great. The band sang very nice. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The best dinner time my family and I have had for a while. We of course ordered the full mariscada and it was plenty for 5 very hungry adults. The shrimp were a little overcooked, but would definitely try again. We also ordered micheladas and margaritas which were great! The service couldve been better, but the guy seemed like he was fairly new at the server job and he was nice so we let it slip. They also charge gratuity which in my opinion is fair having been in the serving business for a long time and having to put up with cheap tippers. Highly recommend!!
