Great food, beautiful view and atmosphere. The owner is really awesome and so attentive. Superb restaurant, will definitely be looking forward to going there again soon.

We had a Wonderful meal here.I had the rib special and it was delicious!! And staff were super attentive & friendly and notified us ahead of anything taking longer than expected - Which is not an issue in such a relaxed restaurant.Its a beautiful location and nice short walk if youre staying at Laborie wine estate.

What a great spot. Would highly recommend when in Paarl to stop for lunch or dinner. Staff was great and food amasing.

We had a very cozy date night here on a cold and wet winters evening.The atmosphere is relaxed but still smart.Theres ample free and secure parking on the premises.The wine list was limited, but had more than enough options. On the other hand, the menu is quite extensive.We had really amazing pasta that our waiter Sam suggested. Finished off the evening with a dom pedro.Ill be back, the pizzas look amazing and I want to try it :)

Went to Giovanni’s on Monday for the first time, went back on Tuesday & Wednesday & today. 4 times in one week! Today I had the best pasta I think I’ve ever had! Absolutely love this vibey spot with the best food! And great service too!

A perfect setting with spectacular views. Our main meals today were seriously good - spectacular spinach and ricotta cannelloni, perfect panzerotti bolognaise and Peri-Peri calamari. Sadly, I cant say the same for the desert - frozen, reheated and impossible to get through with the spoon. Otherwise, it would have been 5 stars

Nice and pleasant lunch with the family. Huge portions, good taste without being overly sophisticated. Kids played soccer on the lawn. Friendly staff.

Absolute beaut. Food was fantastic, they even had excellent wine etiquette which I love. Kids play area and a friendly doggy that loves affection and left over bones. Would recommend

we, ve been 3 times, we love when its good weather because the views are amazing and kids can play outside. we,ve been also once inside it was a fire but it was noisy. the plates are very big, and pizzas and pastas are nice. we once ordered caprese salad and it was not good and very small. wines are nice and milkshakes we good for the kids, deserts normals, price ok, its very similar to papa grapa prices, not cheap but not expesive.

Very nice location for the restaurant and plenty of parking on a secure site.The restaurant has an old vibe to it but it suits it nicely.We didnt have a booking so would recommend to book as they were very busy but they made a table up for us very quickly which was nice as then we didnt have to wait long.Pizzas 🍕 was nice but they have a big variety of Italian cuisine so lots to choose from even for some reason you dont like pizza 🍕Staff were all very nice and friendly, Manuel made us feel right at home next to the 🔥.

Astoundingly perfect food!We had the Minestrone soup and vegetarian pasta. It was so delicious! Will be here many more times!

Beautiful scenery at Giovannis, overlooking the mountains at sunset, offers an ideal setting to enjoy a sundowner.Also a massive grass, jungle-gym/slide/swing for kids to enjoy and give parents time to enjoy the outing.Enjoyed a Chicken Pasta that was perfect 🍝👌

Hi there, we had a really good early evening. The pizza and pasta was really fantastic. I had a merlot, house blend, I think, it was absolutely fantastic. Buttery, smooth, very little tang, if I am using the right terminology lol, Subsequently bought a Laborie merlot instore, but didnt taste the same. Could u pls tell me if u do do a house blend merlot, or what it could have been? Or maybe it was just the influence of the great day and evening that might it taste better than it already did?

Arrived at Cucina Di Giovanni on a fully booked night and had high doubts of getting in. We were proved wrong when welcomed by a waiter, Succeed, who successfully squeezed us a table at peak hours. Not only was the service immaculate but it was paired with a vibrant atmosphere and stupendous food. For the Food Fanatics interested, I’d highly recommend Cucina Di Giovanni, at Laborie, when in Paarl. In my opinion I suggest them being your first stop.

Pork on pork - looks nice but very dry!Ribeye - medium rare that was good but very very tough steak did not even finish it. (maybe just a bad cut of meat)Cheesecake best dish of the night! will return just for that! Service not that good aswell.

Great ambiance, awesome views and waiters was very friendly. The pizza was ver nice and the coffee ☕ hit the mark, it had great aroma and a perfect crema.

Absolutely horrible service. Taking exceptionally long to take our order, our drinks took at least 20 minutes to come, waiter forgot to bring my wife’s sparkling water after 1 hour of ordering it, the food took 55 minutes to come and after everything they gave us the wrong receipt. Don’t come here if you want good service.

Unacceptable service!!! Our water "Sam" was useless, he took so long and even forgot about many items we ordered. Our pizzas ended up taking more than an hour to come. At the end of it all he gave us the wrong receipt and didnt even apologise. Id say your waiters seriously need better training.

Beautiful setting, great service from Brian. Good food, baby chicken was delicious, found the mushroom pasta slightly bland and didn’t have a medley of mushrooms.

The food is even better than the view - awesome dining experience with excellent service. Definitely worth a return visit!

The first time around it was good, a few hiccups but not great, second time around it was amazing. Staff was very accommodating and very helpful,Very friendly and nice. We had a great out door sunday lunch, pasta and pizza that was just amazing. Seafood lovers should try the Marinara. We got a surprise for our anniversary to celebrate it. a beautiful slice of cheese cake.Wonderful time and worth another visit

Wonderful restaurant on a beautiful setting in the heart of Paarl. The pasta is excellent. Try the Panzerotti bolognaise for a new take on an old favourite (pair with Pinotage!), or the Seafood pasta for a sensory overload. Popular restaurant so best to book.

What a beautiful setting with views of the vineyards and mountains. Outside seating is amazing and peaceful. The food was good not great. Unfortunately they do not have a non-alcoholic choice of wine for "designated drivers" but was informed by the others that the Chardonnay was amazing.The service was brilliant and friendly. The portion sizes are very big and the prices are reasonable. Would definitely go there again - lol it was worth the 40 minute drive. 🤣

Absolutely good food, massive portion, excellent taste for a fair price. The staff was super friendly, in our case Manuel 👍, and the owner also takes huge effort to build relationship with EVERY guest. (the portions are actually bigger then they might look on the pics).

If you are looking to enjoy some delicious Italian food in Paarl then Cucina Di Giovanni is the place for you. Their menu has a vast range of different Italian dishes available. My wife and I shared some pizza, which was very tasty, and some of the other guests had different pastas and risottos, which looked delicious and they spoke very highly of. The restaurant is quite big so it doesnt feel cramped, but I prefer their outside dining area as you sit under big trees and have a beautiful view. The day we visited was a bit chilly outside so we sat inside and they had their heaters going which made it warm and cozy. The restaurant also had a very energetic atmosphere and the staff and manager were very attentive. Good food, good atmosphere and a great option for both winter and summer - what more do you need.

The friendly staff and the beautifull setting make you feel as though this is your own little piece of heaven. Then the food arrives; heaven all over again! Thank you for the lovely lunch this Sunday afternoon. Unfortgettable. Being a local I am proud to share this review and encourage everyone to visit this gem in the Paarl Valley! Magnifico!!
