To call this a gay club would be a blatant insult on the queer community. If youre queer, dont go here. Its not safe. Everybody that goes here, works here and is security here couldnt be more damaging. Canberra needs a better and more represented queer venue and this is not it. Ive been away for ten years and came back for a curiosity visit. It was bad for a "gay" club ten years ago and today it is nothing more than another unsafe trashy bar. In conclusion, cube is not a queer friendly space. AVOID

Generally OK place, but at closing time the staff were extremely aggressive verbally to all of the patrons - constantly yelling at everyone to “GET THE F&$@ OUT!” as soon as the house lights came on - I have never seen this sort of poor behaviour from the staff of any venue I have ever been. Remember that we, the public, are your customers and pay your bills. I won’t return

Generally a nice place. Although I understand masks can be tricky and that people can be a challenge, I am not a fan of how some staff yell at customers for pulling masks down at the bar but also get angry at us because they cant hear us. Do you want us to wear a mask or not? I asked for a drink twice before pulling my mask down to ask a 3rd time only to have a "no mask no service" sign shoved in my face. And while I understand the rule and do my best to comply it is not fair for staff to treat customers badly because they cant hear us.

If you want pure club music, this is the joint to visit. Just an overall decent club to visit for a night out.

Cube used to be the place to be, the line was always long & the music was always vibing. However the last few times I’ve gone out my night has ended with disappointment each time, either from the rude bartenders or over priced drinks. Firstly; I understand (through my own personal experiencethat working till 4am is hard, and serving intoxicated people all night can be exhausting & challenging, but when youre working in a customer service industry, you should be focused on customer service.Secondly; I paid $18 per shot for spiritus, I bought 3 in total. Both my two friends and I thought it tasted diluted. It was another disappointing drink, Ive learnt to only ever buy bottled drinks from here.

Place is chill

Not just for the young but the older persons as well. Drinks are extemely affordable and the staff are super friendly attending to any needs you may have. I highly recommend them for a fabulous night out.

Staff were very rude and wanted to charge to get my wallet from my jacket in the cloakroom 😐. Im sure its a much better place when youre snorting lines and popping pills in the back though...

Was asked to leave after 2 standard drinks as they have no respect for people that identify with disabilities. I got asked to leave because of my condition and I would not recommend this establishment that claims to be "inclusive". Very disappointed.

Sweaty, FILTHY, hot, disgusting club. The only good thing in there is a pool table and that’s literally it (including the drinks). Manager is rude and doesn’t take customer queries seriously. Bouncers have physically assaulted me. Underground dodgy and filthy trap house is how I would explain it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLUB!

Went for NYE last night. Even though we paid a cover charge and were wearing the white able to re-enter bracelet we were still made to line up again to re-enter with new queuing patrons. This place may market themselves as a gay club, but sadly its not. 60% woman. 30% straight guys and 10% gay people. For Canberras sake I hope a new place opens to service the gay public. The music was way too loud. Bummer though, was really looking forward to NYE at Cube

This place needs to close, and it should not be allowed you call itself a gay club, because it’s not. It’s less then 10% lgbtqi patrons and the rest are straight, the staff are rude and the owner is the worst.I was there for 30 mins before I needed to go get fresh air because they didn’t have sufficient air conditioning, when I went to go upstairs I stoped to get a wrist tag because they didn’t give me one when I entered. The owner then agrued that I must have snuck in because he couldn’t believe that they wouldn’t have given me a tag. He then made me wait at the door with him for a significant amount of time “waiting for the other girl to come back to the door” likely to get me to just forget about it and leave.Then he called over another security guard and asked him if I came in and paid to which he said no I didn’t so confidently like he’d remember even single person that came in when he wasn’t even on the door when I came in. And after all of that I said well how would you have cloacked my bag if I didn’t paid.So I grabbed my stuff from the clock room and left.Good thing I paid on credit card the entry fee and will now be able to have it refunded by chargeback.

Charged $25 entry on new years for a club without air conditioning, overpriced and noticeably watered down drinks, filthy drug packets littered about the restrooms, people stumbling across the dance floor off their face on some kind of drug. This club is an underground dodgy business that I have no intention of returning to.

Literally the WORST GAY CLUB I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE. And after 20 years of clubbing, thats saying something. Music, horrific....crowd, out of their mind and messy. AVOID

Every time I go to the cube I always meet the nicest girls 😍 I give the cube 5 stars the staff is nice and 99% of the time its all good. The only thing I dont like is the music. Please play more than techno. And could you do a ladies night? That would be cool. Cos the other thing I am gay and go here cos its suppose to be a gay club but straight people go there all the time. I dont want to be hit on by men.

DJ was awful And lost the crowd quite a few times. Just woeful music in general. I almost wanted to hand the DJ my smart phone and Spotify playlist. At least we could dance to that. Twice the music just stopped so we gave up trying to dance and went home.So disappointed as visiting from Melbourne with my partner and was expecting a fun night out. Also straight people seemed to outnumber gays and queers.If your gay/queer drive to Sydney and head to oxford street the 2.5 hour drive will be far more worth your while as I think that’s where everyone else who was gay and or queer in Canberra was on the Friday night we went.

The only gay club in town, Id say its not bad but theres nothing special about it except two dance pole on the stage.

Its not a gay nightclub, its a gay friendly nightclub. Only around 5 people there were gay, the rest were straight. After cheap drinks finished, placed cleared out soon after midnight.

Late night Venue that attracts a lot of shenanigans. One of the only places open until the early hours of the morning.Pros-Pool tables-late night licenseCons- poorly stocked bar mainly for young kids who want shots and RTDs (Ready To Drink aka Alco pops)- crowd tends to be fairly roudy.
