A long bit of beach, lots of water activities, great food choices and good facilities

Overall great! Let me highlight the interesting/ negative parts:The prices are different between the west and east side of the beach! Lángos is ca. 300 HUF more expensive on the west part of the beach; the same goes for Hekk & Palacsinta.On the west side of the beach, at the hight of the aqua parkour, there are sharp stones in the water. I cut myself twice, my son cut his feet, my cousin cut his feet.The orange/ fast waterslide is great!There are plenty of parking space in front of the main entrance; you can even park on the green!

You can only access the beach if you pay 1800 HUF. There is no free beach anywhere. Once you are in it is super crowded and full of yelling kids. Not a really relaxing experience. I don’t recommend going there.

Nice beach, lot of family-friendly activities (playground, special small beach for infants/small children). Clean bathrooms, lot of trees and shadows. It is possible to pay with SZEP card.

One of the more expensive paid beaches here, but its large, atmospheric, and theres plenty to do.

Very well maintained beach, lots of restaurants and bufets, the lawn is nicely cut and clean, there are enough trees. The beach is nice, the sandy part is great fun for kids. The currents in the water are a bit annoying if youre with kids on a paddle boat, you have to pedal back constantly because the currents are taking you away quite quickly (opposed to the south-side beaches- but its not a fault of the owners its just nature ;)

The excellent place fo families. Close the beach is situated free car park, many restaurants, bars.

The best from beaches at Balaton - for me and my family. A lot of restaurants, bars are here open from 10 am. Very friendly foe kids!! Dark sand part of beach is fantastic for kids and also for adults;2 water slides are here for free!!

Very nice strand, lots of amenities, the only dow side is that the day ticket is not good for reentry at the same day. Once you get in you have to stay if you dont t want to pay again

Clean and not too expensive.If you are hungry go straight to the restaurant. Fast food is horrible...

Great place but no information given. You need to ask everything from the cashier who is located outside. You need to buy coins for the lockers, but by 11 am the cashier did not have any. Strangely, most of the lockers were unoccupied.

It is small and friendly with 3 playgrounds.We love it.

The day after season ends it suddenly is great. No people. But up until the last sunday after season end its severely crowded.

Perfect beach for a day of summer time Balaton bathing. Shallow end with muddy sands for the little ones, slides and floating air castle in the water for older kids. Has showers, toilets and more fröccs and greasy pizza places than you can wave a stick at. Avoid it in the very high season (July through mid-Augustor go after 17:00h when things get slightly less crowded and tickets are cheaper.

Good for families. Sandy beach, playground, sport equipments to rent.

It is extremely crowded, but that is not the main issue. The thing is that the tickets are not cheap, and looking how crowded the place is, i am 100 percent sure they make hella lot of money each day during the season, still somehow they missed to clean the lake properly, (or at all). There is soo much seaweed everywhere you literally have to navigate around the big islands of seaweeds, and even deep into the lake seaweed from the bottom gets twisted around your legs. The beach is kept kinda tidy, that is great, but im sure there is something they could have done for the lake too. Or make the tickets cheaper, like half price, then i would be like "whatever, the seaweed sucks, but it was cheap anyway". Then, and only then would it be fair.

Lots of grass, laid back ambient. We were there on weekdays and on a hot Sunday. It didnt feel too crowded even when it actually was crowded.

Worth its price to visit the lake Balaton, Csopak strand is one of the opcions. You can reach the lake there with sand on your feet, you can buy or bring your own balls or mattress, airbed, and you can stay in the camping near the strand. There are higher prices at the bars and in the food trucks than usually in the shops.

It is a lovely beach with good food options, but it is so extremely crowded in the high season that I would strongly recommend going to one of the beaches of the nearby villages at that times.

Ive been visiting this place for over 15 years, and what I can say is that my heart belongs here, but also a lot of other peoples hearts belong here too. What I mean by this is that its filled with a lot of people and its hard to find space for your stuff. Overall, good experience with the sandy shore for the children to play.

Excellent beach by the lake Balaton. Often crowded but in the evening it is always pleasant.

A nice beach on the northern side of Balaton. Grass terrain and big trees that give shadows. Numerous options for eating. Available by car or train from Budapest.

I like this beach a lot! Clean, lots of shadows, the water doesnt get deep quickly, good for children as well.

Nice place for fishing- after 7 p.m. free of charge. Students duscounts up to 24 y.o. Very crowded during the day, especially the weekends. German-speaking stuff, hard to communicate in English.

One of the best and nicest beaches around Lake Balaton. However, therefore the pricing is a bit high. But there are slides and the beach is really large. The water is really clean. The only problem with the beach that its always crowded. You should go really early if you wanna have some great, shady place.

Nice beach , a little bit crowded. Closable boxes in the dressing-room is a thief, you can close them only once with 100HUF coin , jeeez!
