Crystal Jade Restaurant in Omaha

Great options all the time. They charged 1.00 extra since COVID which is understandable. Still great food and awesome service. We went at 8:30 and got served fast was out by nine (thats is when they closed). This is one of my top five restaurants to eat at in Omaha. I would highly recommend. ❤️

Best Chicken Tikka Masala around. Never thought I’d have crab rangoon, fried rice and Indian food from the same place in one meal but wow does it work well together.Not only really good food but also has many nation’s dishes AND vegan/vegetarian menus. Definitely the number one go to from here on out for us

I ordered this from grub hub. When I got the food I was not expecting to Receive such a large portion (no complaints at all). It was breathtaking. When I took the first sip of the hot and sour soup I just had to thank Jesus because it was so delectable and so delicious. Then at last I dove into the orange chicken and fried rice. I couldn’t stop eating it. The chicken was perfection and the flavor? Immaculate. Thank you for your wonderful food You prepared for me. God bless you.

Awesome menu and food is excellent. They have a huge vegan menu too, you just have to ask for it.

Placed an order thru door dash, received someone elses order, door dash let me reorder- 20 minutes later the restaurant cancelled the said order. Called the restaurant to inquire why they cancelled and a lady told me order had been picked up already. I tried to explain the circumstances to her but she got all huffy and actually hung up on me!!! I usually order from crystal jade at least 5/6 times a month but with service like this- never again. You just dont treat your customers like that. I will dine elsewhere so sad a business has to be like that.

Wontons so tough couldnt eat them. Lemon chicken was a cute up chicken patty with a lemon sauce on the side that was awful. Too much money for such bad food

I love the Twin Generals, the Eggplant Curry, and the vegan rolls. Everything is always so fast + delicious! 🙌🏻

I was doordashing and watched one of the woman working being incredible rude to two blind customers. Ive never wrote a review before but the obvious ableism was crazy. When they first came in all the staff sat there and didnt make a sound, I had to be the one to help them find the desk to order. Then she kept pressuring them to order and interrupting the audio reading the menu (app on their phones). The young woman ordering had a bit of a speech impediment and the server was incredible rude about it. When they finished ordering the worker held out her hand and got mad at the customers for not seeing her hand. Once again they are blind. When they asked to sit down to eat she looked around the room and paused for a good 15 seconds. There was many seats there only 3 tables were taken. She didnt treat anyone this way before or after these blind customers. I cant speak for the food but I wont ever try it. Not when they treat people like this.

Excellent food and excellent service! My daughter and I are both gluten free, and are always looking for new options. They have so many gluten free options that are absolutely delicious. I am sure the other dishes are great also, but this has become one of our favorite restaurants because of the GF options.

The food smells all the same like cat hair. We all ordered something different but everything tasted the same. Out of three of us we all threw out our food. Crystal Jade please do better. I know you can.My won ton was over cooked and dry

Bangin food here! Ive only had one bad experience here and they were quick to remedy the situation and make things right. Always big portions, great taste, friendly staff, and my go-to place for fantastic Chinese dishes!

My family and I had an horrible experience in that place. The waitress made us feel not welcomed, it was dark, so we decided just to leave to other restaurant.

I had the Mongolian chicken and it was the best Ive ever tasted!!... Thai iced tea delicious!

I will not recommend this Chinese restaurant, tofu prepared bad, quality of food is not good. It does not even smell like a Chinese food. I do not understand why it has positive listing under Happy Cow website. As a true vegetarian I will not recommend this place, the food has no life-force Energy.

Crystal Jade is a family "go to" when we are hungry for Chinese style cuisine. The menu has everything you would expect, plus a few pleasant surprises. The quality is consistent. The food is well made and tasty. Easily reccomended.

My wife and I have ordered food from here for delivery a few times in the past and the quality has been acceptable. Last night I decided to take my wife there to eat and was disappointed. They seem to be past their prime of quality from what I remember. Service was lacking, menu shows about 15 beers they have but all the ones I tried to order they did not have. I asked what they do have and only about 4 of them. Sweet and sour sauce had the consistency of water. Restaurant looks very dated.

Ordered $40 of food through UberEats today. As I was pouring my food into a separate bowl I found a hair. Absolutely disgusting and upset. All the food went STRAIGHT to the trash. Thank GOD ubereats refunded my money.

First time here and will definitely be back!!!! Hot and Sour soup is the best and the appetizers for two for only 6.95 is AWESOME!! Very clean and orders came out quick. They also have beer, wine and specialty cocktails.

Ordered through Uber Eats and was disappointed in the food. The egg drop soup was good, but the Mongolian beef was way too greasy and the egg rolls were over cooked.

Have ordered a few times from grubhub or doordash. Orders are always correct. But lately Ive noticed the food to be bland and the containers not to be full. The container are already much smaller than before. Ive noticed this from several of the restaurants. They have all changed their black food containers from a year ago. Thats the economy I suppose. They have to charge more for less to stay in business. Hope it gets better, cause I really did like the food here.

Got GF Lemon Chicken & GF Sweet and Sour chicken. This place makes Panda Express look like PF Changs. It was REALLY bad, especially for nearly $12 each. The sauce for both was the worst part for sure. Sheeeeesh

Right now this place is a disaster.The guy at the counter came in with his pajama pants on, and a similar work attitude. He doesnt care/know/have a clue when it comes to resteraunt business. Like 14 food delivery people standing in the entryway.

Im rating this 1 star because zero isnt an option. I ordered the lemon chicken, which may have been the single most disappointing dish I have ever ordered from any restaurant at any time, ever. One box with a breaded chicken breast, with lemon wedges placed on top, a box of soggy rice, and a styrofoam bowl of a lemon flavored syrup. That was my meal. If this had been the contents of a microwave meal kit, Id still have been every bit as disappointed.

Weve gone to this restaurant several times and the food was always good. This time ordered thru Door Dash, wont do it again. I honestly dont know what happened but we did not like the food at all. The containers werent even full, they were more like half full. That is a lot of money for small amounts of food, and it wasnt good. Scratch this one off the list.

Terrible, hot and sour soup....no flavour...sesame chicken sauce was good chicken tasted a week old. Could only eat a few pieces before getting sick. Lemon chicken... Yeah looked like a child made it, literally a breaded chicken patty( probably frozencut into strips and apparently thats worth almost 11$, this is by far the worst restaurant I have ate at. Do not eat here. Shut them down or make them go back to quality before profits.

I dont like giving bad reviews! But I ordered a triple delight with white sauce. It looked amazing! Till you took a bite nothing about this meal was good ...scallops over cooked ! Chicken had no flavor the pork tasted spoiled! AND I THINK THE WHITE SAUCE WAS JUST WATER??!! IDK. .. EGG ROLL WAS GOOD THO😁 And the fortune cookie was right in lmfao

Food was prepared quickly, but no different than other Chinese restaurants. Order was incorrect. How hard is it to double check an order? Isnt that whats the tip is for with a take out? I had to ask for napkins and forks. Food was good not great. It was hot though. Somewhat on the expensive side for what you get. No reason to return with better options.

My first time ordering here and ordered through DoorDash. Delivery time went from 30min to over an hour and 30min due to the doordasher deciding to take multiple orders across town. That’s fine, not the restaurant’s fault. I called to ask if I could pick it up myself since it would save me an hour of waiting and most likely my food getting cold and she said they are super busy and couldn’t find my order then hung up on me! Terrible service and I won’t be coming back.

The best gluten free breaded Chinese food anywhere. Every time I travel I try out gluten free Chinese food and theres been no where that tops Crystal Jade. Please, please make it through this pandemic. This is my favorite pick me up restaurant when Im feeling down or when I want to celebrate.

This place is freaking awesome! My mom and I came here to grab a bite for the first time and loved it! The staff were great, the food was satisfying, the prices were very reasonable, and the atmosphere was perfect. Well definitely be coming back.

100% the BEST Asian restaurant especially for vegan and vegetarian options! The mock duck is incredible, the crispy tofu is my favorite I’ve ever had in my whole life, the vegan egg rolls and curry puffs are insanely good and the service is always impeccable! Love my experience every time I come here and my guests are always happy I showed them this amazing place!

Disappointing first experience - I do not advise eating here. I chalked the poor service experience and wait time up to Easter staffing and wrote that off until I got home.We spent $25 on two dinner portion meals and only received one portion of rice with it. Not sure how that compares to others as Ive seen it before, but for $25 what we got appeared drastically smaller than other restaurants.Worst part of it all was I scooped up a piece of my General Tsos when I got home and it was nearly liquid. Soggiest, chicken Ive ever had the displeasure of eating in my life and that was the moment I realized this was not a place I intend to go back.Im sure this place is better on a normal day, but with all the fundamentals of basic food service missing the mark...I will continue to try other establishments. I hope they just had a bad day and strive to correct and defend against this quality of service in the future.

Tried the Vegan Menu with the wife tonight. Definitely worth a try. I went with the mock duck and tofu generals while she had the volcano tofu. Will Def try again soon!

Love their food. Its always pretty empty and quiet in here. Which makes it both nice and a little awkward. My father ordered a vodka cranberry a couple times and it was the weirdest color in the smallest glass ever made. Their crab rangoons are SUPER good.

Food is delicious. Extensive vegetarian menu with most items able to be made vegan. Only place I can get vegan appetizers with my meal!

Best homemade fried dumplings in Omaha. They come with a hot spicy dipping broth but you can ask for mild. I have reviewed this place before at 5 stars and it hasnt changed. The quality of the food & drink is consistently good and the choices are many. You can ask to have the dinner menu at lunch.

I truly wish more people knew about this place, while simultaneously hoping it stays a secret. Ive never been disappointed here and eating in definitely delivers an additional layer of experience. It may be Americanized Asian food, but its so good. Tons of flavor. Family friendly atmosphere and $1.88 CRAFT/IMPORT beer. Every. Day.

We did take out. Our order was ready in 10 minutes. Yellow curry tasted like cream of chicken. The egg rolls were dry and bland. The Hunan chicken was ok but bland. The crab Rangoon was mostly cream cheese no seasoning. The chicken is both dishes was very tender. It was the sauces that disappointed.

Good peanut butter chicken, meals had beautiful garnishes. Good hot and sour soup, crab Rangoon was good. Good service. Wifes Thai tea was really good.
