Crumbs Breakfast, Lunch & Bar - Restaurant in Danville, United States
Mimosas heaven. Excellent breakfast and superior service. Im coming back next week.
I love pancakes. Crumbs have the most delicious pancakes with all the fixings—this is my favorite breakfast place.
Food was great. Nice ambience too. There is no kids menu, know before you order it could be a bit too much for kids to finish. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be difficult. — Correction - restaurant team confirmed they do have kids menu which I somehow did not get a chance to experience. They also confirmed there’s additional parking during weekends. Appreciate their quick response and awesome management helping their customers
The first impression was poor service. The hostess did not greet us with a smile, instead she showed a sour face. The wait staff were mediocre - doesnt match the affluent city of Danville.
Probably the best pancakes I have ever had. Flambe bananas done to perfection. I appreciated there also being a whole bottle of syrup on the table. Only disappointment was the cappuccino.
Good food. Good service. Long wait times. People steel tables. Restaurant does not check names.
I arrived 15 minutes prior to close time. Still I was fully welcome with no pressure. Great atmosphere. Big portions. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Tasty chicken sandwich. The hanging umbrellas reminded me of Melbourne, Australia.. Ill definitely come again.
Very mediocre, kind of bland food with kinda slow service. Nothing special, you could find better food downtown.
Loved the spacious outdoor dining area. The food and presentation was pleasing. Our server was very pleasant and patient.-Santa Fe omlette. Could have done with more flavors but overall good.-Crumbs & All was delicious and heavy-Crepe Al Christopher was also yummy and super heavy, couldn’t finish it.-3 Little French Toast was soft and fillingCoffee was so soWiFi is pathetic since the phone signals were weak in the area.
Rudest staff in town, especially the newer kid at the front desk. The food really isn’t worth the wait and hassle, you can do better many other places in town. I’m surprised any locals actually come here, tbh.
OMG, The French Toast Bananas Flambe was AMAZING... Also enjoyed the Mimosa flight...Our bartender Kosta was excellent!!
Food was amazing but the service was vary subpar. Felt like I had to flag down ppl to get attention for my table
Got the bacon avocado omlet with sourdough toast and fruit. The food was good and the staff was very nice as well. Parking can be a bit of a pain at this place so try and areive early
I had a nice brunch here, on maps and upon arriving you will need to find parking and walk to the place. From the menu I ordered the A-B-C omelet with orange juice ,and my mom had a omelet as well with a mimosa. I liked the decor and service was good here.
I sure sign that a restaurant has good service and delicious food is when the place is full of diners inside and out and there is a large number of folks waiting patiently to be seated. Crumbs is that kind of restaurants.Everyone in my group was happy with their food. Our table had every dish from a veggie burger to chicken and waffles.
Over priced basic breakfast food with no flavor. Service is ok. Had the waffles and they were hard and dry.
Best place for brunch!I had the crumbs and all.
This place was awesome they were able to accommodate our large group of 7 and and we each ordered too many things.lol. everything on the menu looks so good... the joy was every single dish was absolutely delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food as well as their mimosas
Amazing food, great service!
Went there for my sisters birthday and very happy we did. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Never ran out of water or coffee, which was good by comparison to other places.
Went for lunch on a Saturday and took 15 minutes for a server to get to table despite not seeming short-staffed. Service was slow throughout. Chicken and waffles were dry. Roast beef sandwich was okay. Would not recommend
Lots of vegan options, the restaurant in general seemed very festive on the weekend. Worth a shot if you are looking for a long weekend brunch. If possible try to reserve a table before you go! It was pretty crowded.
Found this place on the fly and it did not disappoint. As chefs, my husband and I look at menus a little different. This place is where you gather with friends who have allergies or dietary restrictions, even if you can eat everything you will find something to satisfy your taste buds. Not many restaurants can provide something for everyone but Crumbs does. When I go back and try something else I will probably change my experience rating.
My first visit a year ago was really great!! Loved the atmosphere and the food is okay although a little pricey! Ive been back 3 times since then and each time the customer service would go down. Today we took a while ordering because I was having trouble using my phone to look at the menu and our waiter seemed pretty annoyed about that. After receiving our food we only saw our waiter one other time and that was when we were getting up to go get someone else to help us out with the check. Before getting up another couple sat next to us and were receiving the same treatment from the same waiter but they were a lot more vocal about it than we were. We just really felt unwanted and I honestly dont think Id come back. Id also like to mention they werent busy and there were at least 6 people who worked there walking around so I dont think they were short staffed?
Very good has a lot of options very flexible with you food and drinks. Very nice people . And a good place for all. Also has vegan options.
Good place for brunch, variety in menu. Service is bit late, very little waiting area, seating in both open area and hall, better take-away. Coffee bar, fresh fruit juice and wine is served. Though we had Keto Shakshouka and Veggie Tofu with fresh orange juice, both nice and tasty. Prices above average. Parking on street.
Pretty good, but the hashbrowns were seriously terrible. Everything else was good, and the service was great! Food came out fast. Easy parking. They also had dividers between each booth which I thought was pretty nice.
So good and so generous on the portion size! My veggie omelette was delicious and it was filled with spinach, mushrooms, peppers and onions. The service saw great and friendly, Will come back!
A very nice brunch location, seems like the mimosas are very popular, I didnt order that but the OJ was freshly squeezed and the food was also very good. Will definitely be revisiting them.
Seems like a good place but we did not eat here due to the long line and the sign that isnt posted on their website threatening customers arent allowed unless theyre vaccinated. Probably will try it during the week when its slow because Id rather eat outdoors. If youre going to disenfranchise a section of people, you should state so on your website, because we traveled to go there.Quality of food seems legit.
Amazing Restaurant. A++. Excellent Ambience, Great Food and Great Staff. Great variety. First time, had their Eggs Benedict... Delicious!! 😋. Thank you to my Server Daniela for making it such a Great experience and all the staff. Please come. Love the colorful 🌂 umbrellas also. Great Hot Chocolate and much more to try.
This is a very famous and delicious restaurant for brunch. If you eat here, you will understand why people are waiting. But dont let it stay long.
Love all the options, vegan, gluten free, keto, whatever u need they got for brunch.
The food is definitely good! I loved the crepes, french toast, chicken and waffles, etc. Just don’t order a tuna melt like I did a while back. Other than that you are probably good to go!
Took my daughter and granddaughter for a walk and breakfast at CrumbsWaited 20 minutes for a server, 15 mins for our order and waited 45 minutes for our food. Had to ask how much longer. Server was rude and forgot some of the order. Never asked how was the order or refresh coffee or water. First time ever- no tip and left the food uneatenHad to ask for the check and we were told the wait was long because we ordered a waffle!! HORRIBLE all the way around
Very busy on a Sunday morning but we were able to snag a spot at the bar. Food was good, servers at the bar were friendly and attentive. They even comped us a bloody Mary when we were asking about the ingredients. Definitely worth going back!
It took 16 minutes before any server came over. The eggs Benedict had thick ham and very hard to cut, very little sauce. The crab sandwich was not good at all! The fries were luke warm. We will not be returning!
Disappointing. The beautiful patio is the only thing that might warrant a second chance. The bacon was overcooked, the eggs were watery and the service was underwhelming. The server was not friendly or welcoming and only checked in when our meal was almost over. Not worth the price if that is their typical level of customer service. A smile and a friendly attitude go a long way.
Great food. The service is terrific. Staff is very welcoming, courteous, and professional.
Eggs Benedict was not good. The muffin was not toasted and the tomato was raw. The waffle was way too thick and definitely not fluffy. I could not even finish half of it. The coffee was average and just warm, not hot. Hot tea was the only positive take away. We spent over $40 for two.
Big tastless breakfast dishes. The egg Benedict says grilled tomatoes and goat cheese. Tomatoes were not grilled and bread was soggy. The waffles were huge, tasteless and so thick that inside was not fully cooked, no crunchiness. We were very disappointed with the food. The service was decent. Our table in the patio was next to a side garden protected by metal bars/wires, but the other side was extremely dirty. It seems like some of the garbages ( napkins, tea bags, ...flew over and no one bothered to clean up the area.
The service was great. The food was great. The price was not so good, this is the reason for the 3 stars. 3 people for breakfast and our bill was 80 dollars. I could have bought enough eggs, toast and potatoes to feed a huge crowd of people for the price we paid for 3.......
Second time coming here and it was amazing! I used the Yelp app to add myself to the waitlist as this place can have a long, but worth it wait time. We waited less than ten minutes when we got there. The food was delicious and the service was great!
Initially I was not going to give them a bad review as I have always enjoyed the restaurant - but the last two visits were sub-standard...Brunch on the 24th was $43.+ for 2. The bacon was cooked so hard it crumbled when I bit into it, the hash browns were not even browned, the toast was simple warmed up, not actually toasted (or buttered), I asked for another butter & the waiter said I already had one & never returned with more. I also was never offered a refill on my coffee. I truly hope the service and chef improves as the setting is lovely.
Place is new, still working out the kinks. Food is good for breakfast, lunch, and brunch, but service is slow and the staff needs better training on the menu and to check in during the meal. Food took awhile to get to our table. Had to flag for water, more iced tea, butter (didn’t come with pancakes), requested a table for 5 (3 adults, 2 toddlers - asked specifically to the young hostess for high chairs when signing in- saw them set a table for 6 with no high chairs. When this young hostess walked us to the table with our 2 toddlers, she didn’t seem to notice that there were no high chairs. Again, had to ask for high chairs.Crumbs is a big open room. It is very “loud,” so be prepared to speak loud. Menu has Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten Free options and uses locally grown food and produce, organic, and non-GMO as much as they can.Prices are reasonable for this area for what you get, except for the side order of French Toast at $4.50 (1 slice, not hot, lukewarm). Salads are big here. They know how to fry bacon perfectly (soft, crispy, or extra crispy).Crumbs doesn’t have a specific Kids Menu, but a “Smaller Menu for 2 to 102,” which works out. The “I’m Not Hungry” (1 Egg, 2 strips of yummy bacon, 1 pancakeis good portion size for both kids and adults. Will provide kids plastic cups with lids and straws. Love that Crumbs provides paper, instead of plastic, straws.Besides full coffee bar, fresh juice, organic whole milk, etc., Crumbs has local craft beers on tab and bottle, wine, Bloody Marys, and Mimosas. No Corkage Fee!Parking lot is shared with Chico’s so getting a parking space on the weekends can be especially tough. Disability parking and easy to get inside. Waiting area is tiny.
Way better than the Country Waffles restaurant which was here before. The inside is all redone and it doesn’t look like it’s stuck in 1985 anymore. It’s trying a little too hard to be hip with all the umbrellas and “instagrammable” decor but the quality of food and service can’t be denied. A welcome refresh for the area.
Had a great experience. The food was amazing and the drinks were creative and delicious. FREDDY IS A MASTER!!!!! You wont be disappointed.
Great place at the heart of Danville. We sat quickly and the service was quick and great too. I had the country fried stake and loved it even though I didnt need 3 eggs with all that was on plate. The Blueberry pancake was huge and impressive as I well. Wife had the Avacado toast she liked it and will order again.
Initially I was apprehensive that Country Waffles had left us here in Danville. Fears allayed. Crumbs, which now inhabits the building, has a great vibe, as well as a traditionally stocked menu. The prices are no more than youd expect, they even offer vegan and vegetarian options! My server was polite and attentive without hovering. Great job guys. Now lets work on the parking issue.....
Great breakfast. Service was fast, food was hot and tasty. On the pricier side, but the food quality was much higher that your typical restaurant breakfast.
