Crowne Plaza Zurich in Zürich (Kreis 3) / Sihlfeld

This hotel was perfect for me. The room was clean and well thought out. I enjoyed the modern setup and amenities. The Holmes gym is wonderfully inviting. I went for a swim and some relaxation there and left feeling great. Thank you to the staff for their attentive service.

We had our wedding at the Crowne Hotel (about 60 guests). From the very beginning, our contact person Victoria G. was super helpful and always available to have a call in order to discuss further developments and changes of plans and new ideas. Having her was without a doubt the biggest perk of planning our wedding at Crowne Hotel.Additionally, we really liked how convenient it was to be able to have a small ceremony, and then in another room be able to host the reception where we served food and had a party afterward to finish off the day. Compared to other venues, the prices are very fair and also for our guests who came from overseas it was a great price-value and convenient option for them to stay at the hotel as guests. All members of the staff are very friendly, especially on the day of the wedding they were extremely helpful and accommodating. As part of the hotels wedding gift to us, we were able to spend the night at the suite that was nicely decorated with a lot of chocolate hearts and flower petals.

I had an enjoyable time staying there - large hotel. Nice room, quiet. Great service, especially at reception - thanks to Giancarlo going out of his way to show and explain anything I needed to know. Great breakfast buffet! Wellness center on site was a relaxing experience except jacuzzi is out of order until mid Nov. Trams station nearby to help get into the city center ( short trip ).

It claimed to Have Air conditioning but it was still warm after turning it on. The lines to get checked in and out were long and breakfast was 29CHF Each. Pillows are hard and full. The value just wasn’t there for the price paid. It was our last place we stayed after traveling through Austria and the Jungfrau region. It was our least favorite for sure, but if you need a quick and semi clean place to rest your head, it suffices.

Decent hotel.They couldnt give us an upgrade so ended up in a pretty small room.Service was good and they have a great gym.Breakfast was a cut above what I expected. Great cold meat and cheese selection among other things

Stay here was just OK. Room was super tiny. It does not have true AC that you can fully control. Hotel is in need of renovation. The carpets are dirty. A modern hotel should not even have carpet in the room (hard to keep clean).

I had two night lay over at the crowne plaza, price quality was good, considering Zurich prices. Room space was just fine , gym and other amenities were well above average. I will be staying most definitely again in this hotel, have travelled a lot around Switzerland and was very happy with the experience , have to highlight the outstanding service , shout out to Amaru in reception and especially to Priscilla, both of them made sure our check in was smooth and made sure our experience was superb, never mind the convenient tips they gave us , making sure our stay was all round amazing.

I stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago, even though the hotel is not in the city center, it has good facilities and breakfast, and staff is very friendly. Priscilla, from the Front Desk team, was super helpful, she assisted us with tours, taxis, reservation at restaurants and even guided us on how to get to the old city. Also, we had an issue with our booking, due to an emergency we had to depart earlier than expected, Priscilla was super understanding with the situation and proceeded to changed our reservation without any penalty.

Please be very careful when paying the bill, we almost got scammed. The facilities at the hotel including gym, sauna etc. are ok, although pretty crowded. However, the service was level was very lackluster.When we arrived at the hotel they told us that one of the rooms had not been paid for, even though our reservation from booking clearly stated that, that was not the case. The receptionist blamed the website and withheld some money on our credit card despite this information. Later on we provide proof that a transaction has in fact been made and notifies the receptionist. She acknowledges our receipt, but seemingly does not take any action at all to register this information. When I check out of the hotel (I checked out a couple of days earlier compared to my co-travelers), I make sure again by asking whether the additional money will be transferred back and the reassure me again that they will NOT charge me twice. Alas, to my horror, a couple of days later I can see in my transactions that they have charged for the hotel booking twice, I have proof of this. Luckily, my co-travelers were still at the hotel and managed to get the money back, otherwise I fear I would never have seen that money again.No apology or any form of compensation was offered. In addition to that, service level was very slow and waiting time very long in the reception. Overall my recommendation would be, please bring proof that you have in fact paid for the room when arriving, otherwise the accounting department at the hotel can be very creative.

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of the city and not to far away from many of the tourist attractions. We were able to drop off our luggage when we landed and start our adventure since our room was not yet ready for check-in. The rooms are fairly small but included everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back in the future.

The hotel is not the most modern but is adequate for the location. Nearby is two tram station and also a relatively large supermarket to get supplies. The room all has a large bottle of water for each nights stay. The hotel staff when I was there on day one could not find my booking and worst wanted me to pay again for the room. The sidebar and restaurant were nice and had a good selection of drinks no matter your mood. Breakfast was nice although the menu does not change better than many others I have been to. Really like the service of the breakfast team as they were polite and greeted all the customers for breakfast and also cleared the plates really fast so you can continue to get more. The room on day two when I was back was interesting as it was like the housekeeper was finishing the cleaning and was yanked out I was shocked to see a key card in the slot, I thought I entered the wrong room. Apparently as mentioned there was a housekeeper card there and a cloth for cleaning on the floor near the door. The day before I was asking if could extend the stay as my flight was at 10 pm but unfortunately the lady at the counter did not allow so had to sit in the lobby after I check out at noon and after a day trip around and waited till 6 pm before leaving for the airport to check-in. Overall like the ambience of the hotel but not too much about the check-in service.

The room was small but quite clean, comfortable and well equipped. I was disappointed there was no mini bar/ fridge.The staff were generally very good, one front desk guy (Denniswas amazing! Went above and beyond and was super helpful.The location is good, with lots of public transport links

Stayed over for two nights back in May. Great quality-price ratio, enjoyed the gym, the breakfast buffet, the location is conveniently located near to a tram stop, from which you can heard directly into town.We had a slight misunderstanding with our booking, which ended up being our fault, but Amaru and his team at the reception were extremely professional and friendly, helped us settle the issue and ensured a smooth check in. Thanks once again! Will be staying here for sure on my next stay in the city!

Staff are a credit to this hotel. Everyone offered exceptional service. Not exactly city centre but just a short tram ride taking No2 or 3 close to the hotel. My reason for only 4* is for two reasons. The carpeting in the room corridors badly needs some attention as its all ruffled up. In addition the only food available in the evening was in the bar and it was mostly Indian. We had to eat out every night because of this. Breakfast on the other hand had plenty of good quality choices.

Generally a good hotel. We really liked the access to the fitness and wellbeing space - it included well managed and clean facilities. The location is just outside the busy area of Zurich, which we appreciated too.I recommend catching a Taxi to this place if you have luggage.

To me in Zurich, they should get a 5 star! Good location (close to food shops, super market, stadium & shopping mall)! Large place. Very delicious breakfast (didn’t have time taste the other foods). Can take breakfast till 10 am in insight & out door! Have good parking facilities in underground. No problems with outside guests. Huge reception.

Rooms are good but bathroom had water drainage issue for the room which they provided us. Thats the only reason for not giving 5 stars. Very good breakfast options with live counters for pancakes and egg items. We as vegetarians had decent options as well. Closest public transport is around 400 metres away from the hotel.
