Lovely view of San juan del sur
Beautiful view of San Juan Del Sur from the top. We walked from town center and it took an hour. The last part is up a very steep road. We took a few breaks on the way up and finally made it. The walk is definitely worth it!
MoreI had a great time with my family. Wonderful place
It is a very beautiful place, Awesome
🤩
Very nice view. It cost 2$ to get in. The way up is very steep not all vehicles can do it
MoreIncredible breath taking views. Sucks you have to pay $2 American but it is what it is…
MoreSuper nice View to San Juan del sur entry der is 2usd but it is worth it. Best time to go is bevor Sunset
MoreI loved the place! I got interviewed by 2 nice people, and the view was superb! Although the beach isnt the best, it is a nice and beautiful place.
MoreSuch an awesome place to watch the sunset. Amazing on all levels. Story of the building of this place is super cool as well.
MoreWorth the walk! We barely walked for 30-40mintues (pretty calm), and very safe in the morning.Be careful as there are massive ramps to get to the Cristo! You will need to pay 2$ for entrance, but definetly worth the price. Best views from San Juan beach.
MoreExcellent View.
This was amazing to see up close in person. It is a bit of a climb to get here but worth it. The view from this monument is incredible.
MoreVery nice view but you get charged 2$ per person to get up to the statue where the best view is
MoreBeautiful serene stature of Jesus. So amazing to be in the bay and feel the presence of a higher being.
MoreBeautiful views over the city and the sunsets are always great here.
Stunning views of SJDS bay. Peaceful church under the Cristo with historical facts about the area. You can hike or drive up. Cost: $2
MoreBeautiful viewpoint overlooking San Juan del sur. a steep hike but we’ll worth it!
MoreVery nice view of the bay but… 1- you have to work for it, what a climb!!! And 2- $2 for foreigners to get to the view point?!!! It’s a bit steep especially if you are not into the who Jesus thing! Bit of a rip off…
MoreThe hike from my house is 6km. It is a good workout. I plan to do this 3 times a week.
MoreAmazing views of SJ bay, too bad the Jesus statue is there, would have been better to have a 360 mirador.
MoreThe view is really awesome, and the place is worth to visit. The best time to visit is early in the morning or during the sunset. But I prefer early in the morning because it is not crowded and you will have enough time to enjoy and capture a great photos.
MoreCool scenery and a low key atmosphere in the town
Great view of San Juan del Sur and an excellent spot to watch the sunset. It’s just a short walk from the town but the paved road up is fairly steep. It’s open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, although you can stay later and costs $2 for tourist and $1 for locals. Well worth a visit.
MoreThere are taxis that take you up the hill saying it will only cost $10, this is in fact not true. Once up the hill, a taxi driver will say "$10USD One way/ or $10USD Per Person." So you pay $20 for round trip because they corner you you up there.Beware.Otherwise the views are great!
MoreNice views, the hike it’s nice to discover the luxury houses up the hill, not really hard to reach by waking. You pay 1 $ once you reach the top.40 min from the town center.
MoreAn amazing place for a sunset view. The sign says its 2$ for entry, but you can get them down to 1$ if youre friendly.
MoreIf you venture to San Juan del Sur you will no doubt see the Jesus statue on the hill. Its a must visit location giving the best view of the town and cove. It does require you walk up a rather steep hill and a few stairs but its well worth the effort and the $2 entry fee
MoreFor $2:00 dollar You going to see the Best View of San Juan del Sur. It is Amazing.
MoreYou have to paid 2$,the view is amazing
20 mins walk from the bottom and uphill. You can go up in a vehicle though. Its worth every step. The view its extraordinary!
MoreBeautiful view of San Juan from here, worth the very sweaty journey up there. There is a fee at the top (2USD).
MorePrecious view of the entire San Juan Beach and of the North and South coastlines. Fantastic sunset.
MoreBeautiful place! .. This is the best view of San Juan del Sur. You can drive there but there will still be a little bit of stairs that will make you want to take a break at the entrance to catch your breath. Also hold on to your phone when taking a selfie its very windy.
MoreA steep walk and $2 is a small price to pay for this experience. I dont consider myself overly religious but I even marveled at this statue of Jesus. You will also get some amazing views of San Juan del Sur and the beach area.
MoreA must see in San Juan del sur. Like $2 entrance fee.
Amazing environment and magnificent views of the San Juan Del Sur bay. A must see place when visiting this area.#photosbyAlvisonHunter #Nicaragua #sanjuandelsur
MoreNice view over SJDS. Short but steep hike from town (~2km). Doable in flip-flops. A man at the gate asked for 60c per person which corresponds to the 2$ tourist price advertised several times during the hike.It won’t be the most spectacular thing you’d have done during your trip but still a fun activity that doesn’t take much time off your day.
MoreBeautiful lookout point on top of the hill accompanied with a big and amazing Jesus statue. They charge 2 USD entry for tourists and its totally worth it. Enjoy the beautiful views up there along with a nice breeze to keep you from catching fire from the heat.
MoreA short hike up a steep paved hill. 2 dollar entry fee for foreign tourists. Great view of the bay and sjds. Be sure to bring some water with you.
MoreIf your in san juan you cant miss this. The cost is 2 dollars or 60 cords for tourists and less for locals. The view is beautiful the walk up can be steep so granny might need a hand but there is stares and it is doable for most people.Definetly check it out!
MoreBeautiful view, awesome statue. Saw some monkeys eating in the trees nearby.
$2 entrance fee for an awesome view of all San Juan and nearby beaches. You can drive to a very close parking and walk up. Below the statue there is a mini-chapel. Totally worth seeing.
MoreGreat views, its a decent hike about 20-30 minutes of uphill once you are off the beach. $2 entrance fees for foreign tourist. It is very windy so hold onto yours hats!
MoreGreat view!! You can drive almost to the top, then there are maybe 50 steps up to the actual statue area. Steps are uneven, definitely not accessible for the mobility-challenged, but if you can, the view is worth the climb!
MoreWe hiked up from out hotel in the middle of SJS which took about 35 minutes. The hill is quite steep so bring water and prepare to sweat. It was worth it for the view.
MoreYou can see the whole beach. In order to get to this place, you have to cross the river. You can pay for the little boat but if you wanna save every little money possible then you can walk across it. It depends on the time but sometimes water comes up to your chest.
More$2 entry. Amazing 360 views. 100% worth it. Decent hike, or just go on the moto
Great view of SJdS Bay and surrounding areas.Theres a small fee to pay at the entrance, but for the views of the whole area its worth it.There are restrooms, although I didnt used it.
MoreVery nice place to be, beautiful view.
