Cristiano Ristorante in Houma

We ate here on a Monday night for an anniversary celebration and we were not disappointed. I wish I had pictures to share but actually my first impression of the meal was not 5 star. I thought it was way too little, but was I wrong! There was plenty enough and perfectly balanced. I had the 5 oz filet with crabmeat, risotto, and zucchini. All was cooked to perfection and so flavorful!!

Cristianos is always a pleasant place to bring friends. Great food and atmosphere. Stop by for the Great food or just some drinks. This one is on our favorite list.

This was a fancy place. Warm cozy environment with the way the interior was arranged and decorated. I was here as part of a large group from work and they tended to the group very well. The waitress was attentive, friendly, and took care that we enjoyed our dinner.Large selection of wines and cocktails. The food tasted great - flavor and portion size was spot on. Parking in the joining lot was adequate.Upper end of the price Id pay but nevertheless, a good spot to celebrate special occasions.

Amy was a rude, condescending hostess. Unfortunately the impression was enough to prevent us from experiencing anything further.Edit/Response: Quite simply, my feedback is based on the experience I had with the restaurant. Now the owner is gaslighting and twisting the event (I never hung up on anyone).The initial call and now the response are both examples of poor hospitality. If this restaurant doesn’t value hospitality, respect, or integrity, then I’m really not sure why I would want to step foot in the restaurant.

Always a wonderful time. Fantastic food, great atmosphere. Plus, they also do Brunch!Definitely give Christianos a visit!

We went to Cristiano’s in 2012 heading back along the intracoastal to Kemah, Texas. We were warmly greeted and each served one of the chargrilled oysters. The food was wonderful and I can’t forget those chargrilled oysters. Great memories and they even drive us back to our boat at the City Marina. There’s no better food or service than at Cristianos.

Food is definitely worth the money

This place has the whole package. Atmosphere, decor, service, and food.All were exceptional when I visited.It is very obvious they take their business seriously.

I loved the setting. We had wonderful service. I definitely will come back for the food. And I want to have a cocktail. That menu looked interesting. It begins to be a stretch for the price of a soda or a glass of water. I just won’t order those. But thanks for everything else. The risotto with the watermelon blew my mind. It changed me. That was so delicious. The meatballs were as good as my own so kudos to you. ;-The sauce was fresh and flavorful. Delicious! Do you make your own pasta? It was VERY GOOD. Great Italiana!

Perfection! Second Tuesday of every month they serve the best osso bucco.

Fantastic, charming upscale restaurant in Houma. The cocktails were so great. I had the Raspberry Sling and Iron Lady, my boyfriend had Old Fashioneds and we enjoyed them all. The food was phenomenal. Cant wait to visit over and over again.

Wow, just wow. Staff was excellent, extremely attentive, and helpful. The food was incredible. I had the Fillet with the risotto and my wife have the cioppino. It was exquisite. Definitely my new favorite place in town.

Everything that I have eaten here was always amazing. Their daily specials are always great. They have the best chargrilled oysters. Their duck strips are amazing.

The food is excellent as always! The service is the best…this restaurant never disappoints. All the servers are fantastic. If you ever get a chance to dine at this fine restaurant you will love it as much as we do.

Excellent Italian restaurant if your wanting to drop some cash for the night! Very good fish of the day options! Drink options are great and would highly recommend if your in the area.

A 5 star restaurant in all categories...service, food, decor. and staff. Observed safety protocols in place but masks optional.

Was driving from New Orleans to Avery Island and hadnt had breakfast so stopped off for brunch in Houma by chance, and this restaurant by luck. Food was really good and the service was great.

Always very tasteful, authentic Italian. The staff is very attentive, but not overbearing. The owner is incredibly friendly and will always check to make sure you had a good time. Definitely a higher class restaurant for Houma, and I recommend everybody try it. It can be pricey, so we usually save it for a special occasion. You get what you pay for!

4.60 stars. Ida damage keeps 5 star at Bay. Service, excellent. Food, excellent. Wine list and bar talent, excellent. Value, excellent. Better than 99% of restaurants in NOLA.

Chicken parmesan was excellent, but the portion was a little smaller than Im used to. Salad also excellent. Breadbasket top notch. Service was good. I definitely recommend this place, and Ill be back if Im looking for some more Italian food while Im in Houma.Only complaint, I wish the staff had been wearing face masks per the state policy. As an out-of-towner here working on disaster relief, protecting myself from covid is one of the most important things.

The food was good but not great. Dinner and one bottle of wine (mid pricewas 200.00 with tip. Just thought it was a little expensive.

It was our first time at Christiana. And it was Fabulous!!!! Our Waitress Julie was the best I highly recommend this place !!!

The bruschetta app was beyond delicious as were the airline chicken and my husbands seafood pasta dish. The flavors are exceptional and everything was cooked to perfection.

Great meal ... wonderful food and appetzers. Killer deserts and great pastry. Service was wonderful. Dont miss the awesome "drawing room" bar.

Service was excellent! And so was the food. We all enjoyed our food, lasagna, cioppino, braised beef. Nice selection of wine. We sat on the patio, very comfortable.

Cristianos is my favorite restaurant in Houma! I can tell that the food is fresh and made with high quality ingredients. The food is always full of flavor and delicious! Ohh and the tiramisu is to die for!I can not say enough about the customer service here. I have severe food allergies and they were very accommodating to me. I called the day before to make sure that my allergies wouldnt be a problem. The host was very patient and gave me options I could choose from. The next day when I went to the restaurant my server knew all about my allergies and even knew my order. I was very impressed! Cristianos will always be my favorite restaurant!

The service and food over here is top tier. The veal marsala is my favorite. The steak is always a good choice. I also like penne al forno and the contrastante for desert.

BEST SOUPS EVER!! Their steak is always cooked perfectly! ALL their food is delicious. The salads always have fresh croutons, made in house. Best desserts! GET THE BREAD WITH OLIVE OIL AND ASK FOR FRESH GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE ON TOP!! ❤

Had dinner with a friend last night. Food was good but service extremely slow. We arrived around 6:30, ordered food around 7. Asked the waitress at 8 if we might be getting our food soon and was met with a snippy attitude. Looking at the bill, unbelievably we were charged for bread. BREAD! I have NEVER been charged for bread in ANY restaurant. After spending a sizeable amount of money in this restaurant, this was an insult. Bottom line: if you don’t have the staff to serve your customers in a timely manner, don’t allow that many people into your restaurant. And NEVER charge for bread.

Every time Ive been there, the people have been very friendly and provided excellent service. This place is well-known for special cuisine. I have even done some catering work with them a long time ago

We took my Mom here for her Birthday and I was very impressed. Evan was our waiter and did a superb job. Everyone worked well together and the presentation of the food reminded us of service at Brennans restaurants. The pasta looks like it is fresh and made in house. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food, delish. Cant wait to get back here soon.

Excellent waitstaff, definitely felt the cohesiveness. The lasagna took a bit to get to my table, but it was worth the wait, just delicious food here!

This is one of the best restaurants to dine at in Louisiana. The ItalianSouthern dishes are amazing and authentic. Chef Lindsey is a genius with his specials and Christiano is the heart behind the family recipes and the amazing atmosphere. Add an impeccable wait staff, bar tenders, and managers and it all adds up to never having had a bad experience in the years that we have been dining there.

The food is so delicious here! I just inhaled the fish special for tonight, red snapper with grilled vegetables in a tomato sauce. I’m in town for business and I think I need to return for round 2 tomorrow! The service and the food always hit the high mark. A great place for a date night or a family brunch/lunch/dinner. I have yet to eat anything that I didn’t enjoy,from appetizer to entree to dessert.

This restaurant is located in Houma and offers an excellent Italian menu, it has also a small bar where you can wait for your table if the place is busy, I recommend you to do a reservation before you go, the most of the time the place is busy, very good food and wines!

I ate dinner here during the week. I had the Pasta Fresca ai Quattro Formaggi, which was very tasty. My party also had Caprese as an appetizer, which I enjoyed. The service was excellent - the owner even stopped by to introduce himself and see how we were doing. I had not been to a restaurant that is literally on the first floor of a house but I enjoyed the ambience. Cristiano Ristorante is a great choice if you are in Houma and looking for an upscale place to eat.

We have enjoyed this quaint restaurant for years. Last night they welcomed a private party of 80 for our 50th wedding anniversary. Needless to say it was perfect. The staff, the service and the food was 5 star. Thank you , you made an older couple very happy.

Great place, very nice, clean and charming. The service is great, they change the menu which is always refreshing. The selection is very good, and the timing of the courses great! The staff is friendly, and the quality of the food is very good too. Its a bit pricey for some, but you get fresh food, that is well made. Make a Reservation, well worth it!

Food was divine! Indoors was nicer than outdoors because of smoke. Outdoor setting is much more casual.

My boyfriend brought me here for a special treat, as it was my last trip having to visit him in Houma, & it certainly was a wonderful experience! The restaurant itself was so cute, and had a great vibe to it, & the service was flawless. Most importantly, the food was amazingly delicious! For appetizers we shared fried green tomatoes topped wt lump crab meat, a small spinach salad, & a cup of tomato soup. For our entrees, he got the veal burger & I got the wheat pasta with Bianca sauce, & wheat alfredo noodles (which they make in house). All of the food was insanely tasty, & worth every penny. So sad that I will not have a chance to visit this gem again.

If youre looking for fancy cuisine in Houma this is your choice. Get the oysters.
