Doesn’t matter what time of day it is the workers here are incredibly slow and you will be in That drive thru for 15+ minutes every time.

Great local coffee place with quite a selection of bean coffee for purchase and great breakfast and coffee drinks. I got a vanilla latte and it was tasty. ☺️

I recently moved to the Beechwold neighborhood and was excited that there is a local coffee shop so close. Ive been in with a friend on a few occasions and each time the service was worse. Today one of the employees was super rude after it took 25 minutes to get 2 expresso drinks. When I inquired, she snapped that she was only one person instead of just saying they would be up shortly. I just thought they might have lost the order.Anyway, after multiple visits giving this a shot, I wont be going back. The drinks have been mediocre and the service is not great. I understand that everywhere is short-staffed, but did want to give the feedback.

Consistently one of the slower coffee shops. Think hipster coffee shop speed with Starbucks quality drinks.

Ive been 4 or 5 times and only get black coffee, but the coffee is very good, the parking lot is pretty big and is easy to get into and out of (a big plus compared to the other national coffee shop a little further south).

My 1st visit to any CC and ordered a tea for there. Didnt know the procedure and tea was ready and I didnt know it. Only 2 of us inside, but constant movement through the drive-thru.

Wow! This place is amazing! The coffee was spectacular! The drive through is efficient and the staff were friendly! Definitely going to visit again during my next visit to Columbus!

I enjoy crimson cups coffee but they are almost always very slow so I dont always choose them because of that.

I went to buy a specialty gift for a tea lover. They had just what I was looking for. Great service.

I go here all the time and they keep messing up my drink so sadly I’m not going to go anymore. I only drink decaf for health reasons and they’ve given me caffeine 3 or 4 times now and the times when I’ve double checked that it’s decaf, they seem frustrated with me. I’ll be going somewhere else from now on.

It breaks my heart to write this. Ive been a regular 2 or 3 time a week customer at this location since 2007. Today is the 3rd time in a row that I ordered a beverage and threw it away before finishing because it was so awful. Espresso tastes burnt and old. Too much syrup / not enough syrup. The worst part is that I put in the same order, a crimson Cup mocha 3 times this week and each one tasted completely different and none of them were good. The consistency is atrocious. Really, really disappointed and definitely dont recommend going there right now.

Crimson Cup Coffee is our favorite coffee shop! We love the drive-through! The people who work here are genuinely nice and care about their customers! I am absolutely heartbroken by this. We used to come here for years. Living in Clintonville for a long time. Now it seems to be going downhill really fast. This last visit was exactly like all the other recent reviews.Ordered a large crimson cup mocha freeze, regular mayan mocha iced and 2 bacon/gouda sandwiches. The person taking the order read it back to us and everything was correct. After a really long wait, finally get to the window. The crimson cup mocha is ready to go and is correctly made. Then they hand us the "iced mayan mocha". It is blended and definitely too light to be a mayan mocha. Then we get 1 sandwich. We try asking if this is supposed to be an iced mayan mocha and they got confused. Look over the order and then tried to give us another large crimson cup micha freeze, which we already got. They look over the order again and claim the ticket was ran through wrong (even though earlier they repeated the order back correctly). Then they tried to tell us what they made was a frozen mayan mocha. It was not. It even had WM written right on the lid for White Mocha!! But kept repeating it was a mayan mocha. They said they could remake it but I just said ill take it....simply because I didnt want to have to wait another 10 minutes for a drink. But we ended up waiting longer because they still forgot our 2nd sandwich.He was nice and all, but all the staff have changed and no one seems to care about what theyre doing.

This used to be my go to shop in my neighborhood but the past few months it has become super inconsistent in quality. I have received a few drinks that tasted terrible and were generally wrong temperature wise. All the staff seems to be different and it is affecting the quality of the drinks. For example: I got a hot chocolate there that was not hot whatsoever. Barely above room temperature. And another one where the chocolate powder was not stirred into the drink at all but just clumped at the bottom of the cup. And I received a latte with no espresso in it. Just not worth the gamble to go there any more.

Never returning. I recently moved to Beechwold in March. This Crimson Cup is a very short walk from my house. This is why Ive been a customer, and the only reason.I first tried their iced coffee, which I found to be flavorless and not worth the price. I switched iced chai latte with a shot of espresso. The chai is fine but I cant speak to the espresso because they dont put it in. They splash it with iced coffee.Customer service is okay at times, but never great. Today was the absolute worst experience so far and is why Im not going back. No one was in line when I walked in to order my dirty chai. Several employees walked past the register without acknowledging me. A woman sipping on a drink in the back had to walk all the way to the front to take my order. After my order was placed, I sat and waited patiently. During my wait, I witnessed the next three customers order and get their drinks ahead of me. I guess I waited about 10 minutes.And just like every time before, when I ask for an "iced chai latte with a shot of espresso," I get an iced chai latte with a splash of iced coffee.No need to try and make this right because Im not giving you the opportunity to do so. There is a Starbucks inside the Target on the other side of Morse, they will be getting my business from now on.

Coffee was drinkable, though not necessarily impressive. Place felt too generic, and some of the prices need work.

I have driven past CC on my way to work (Worthington). FORGET Starb***s and Pane** ... best caramel latte (with an extra shot of espressoI have ever had!

ALMOST didnt get a table. This coffee is great, but its more the atmosphere - great place to work (if you have headphones).EDIT: because I see it mentioned here, I order a caramel latté every time I come here and it is delicious. Never bland, never unflavored, never under-flavored.

I normally like going to this place but the person today who was taking orders around 11:30 was incredibly rude. He cut me off before I could tell him to run my card for more to give them a tip and he just had a really poor demeanor. He then went to the restroom while there were 5 cars behind me. I got there and there were zero cars in line. Why not go then. Happy I didn’t tip because they forgot my sweetener in my matcha freeze. Four stars for being good in the past.

Matt was in the drive thru taking my order was very kind and friendly, we get up to get our order and he asked how my day was and was being genuine. He actually cared about his customer service attitude and I respect that. He’s got it down! Give him a raise or promote him in my opinion. 5 stars for Matt! Thanks for the excellent service!

This location is the absolute best! We come for the delicious coffee but the crew keeps us coming back! Even through the struggles of losing staff to Covid concerns, the management staff here, Jake in particular, always goes above and beyond. Thanks so much for being our go to place to feed our cold brew addiction!

The staff was very friendly! The lady at the front with the blonde ponytail was super helpful and we were greeted as soon as we walked through the door. If you like your drinks to taste like coffee and not just sugar, you’ll love it here. Just found my new coffee spot!

Got a mocha freeze. It was very delicious. Also the staff was super friendly.

Too loud for those who want to study here, and not many options for vegetarians. Otherwise their coffee is good.

Visiting Crimson Cup is a way to start the day off right! I go to this location because the people are SO cheerful. The woman at the drive thru today brightened my day!

I come here quite often and have given 5 stars before but today the coffee was sooo hot that I have a blister on my lip and a burn on my stomach from spilling. Great coffee but we need to tone down the temp. No one wants coffee this hot. Id be nervous if it happened to someone who wanted to cause a bigger stink

Crimson Cups quality has gone down over the past couple of months. We have been going there for years and loved their coffee, their friendly staff, and their delicious blended coffee drinks. In the last two months, though, the staff seems to have turned over---no familiar faces. And the drink orders have been messed up the majority of the times we go, which used to be multiple times per week. I think today was the last straw. My daughter ordered a large iced mocha, but it had no coffee in it. It was just chocolate milk with ice and whipped cream. Weve experienced messed up orders more often then not. On occasion, Ive taken them back in to be corrected, but too often we are in a hurry and dont have time to turn around and wait in line again. One other big mess up was when I ordered a peppermint mocha, and instead got a peppermint mocha that had another flavor syrup and cinnamon on top, while my daughters latte was plain. My drink was literally undrinkable. Its unfortunate, but we will be choosing other coffee shops over Crimson Cup in the future. Too many strikes at this pointUpdate: I emailed them back on March 22nd, as they requested in their response to this review---never heard anything back. Over a week ago. 🙄

I’ve been coming here for a little over a year a few times a week. At first I really enjoyed the drinks here & the staff. Lately I’ve been coming daily when out and about… Sadly my last few drinks have been sorry. I always order with no whip simply because I don’t like it, but yesterday my drink had whip & not only did it have whip, it didn’t even have coffee in it, it was just a cup of very overpriced flavored milk. & sometimes the drive through order taker doesn’t put the order in correctly even though it’s repeated back to me correctly resulting in me receiving a hot drink when I very clearly say ICED! So when I give the drink back and say it was supposed to be iced, they seem frustrated & start talking among themselves over the headsets.

This was my very first time at Crimson Coffee. I ordered the Mayan Mocha and it was so yummy! Im eager to come back to try another flavor!

Worst coffee in the last three year. I’ve been a loyal customer to crimpson cup for three year, recently the service is downgrading and the my drinks never tasted what I ordered. Today I ordered a caramel latte, they took the order and made me a latte with no caramel taste. When I asked they said we’re out of the caramel syrup and made another one with caramel sauce which tasted awful and very very sweet. This was my last coffee from there 👎🏻.

Fantastic. Beats out Starbucks, hands-down. Limited seating and a small parking lot are the only downsides. Pricing is comparable to Starbucks. Best coffee Ive ever had.

I Love this little Coffee Shoppe !!! I always come here every time I go to CME next door. Great selection of bakery good, coffees, and specialty drinks including espresso, espresso drinks, ice-coffee and nitro-coffee.

I’ve been to this location a few times on my way to work and I have had a wonderful experience each time. Everyone is so genuine and kind, it’s refreshing to have that kind of customer service every time I go through. Not only that but I go on my way to work and even when there are cars ahead of me, the line goes quickly and I’m out within 5 minutes. That has never happened when I try to go through Starbucks- or another coffee chain for that matter. I highly recommend. I always get the hot mocha and it’s great each time.

We stopped by the night before Thanksgiving and the store manager, Bird, was super awesome! She asked if we were hosting tomorrow and I said yes. She offered to make a special hot chocolate drink with espresso, for me to help keep me pumped for all the cooking ahead of me. This location has always been a favorite of ours for years and meeting Bird tonight will certainly keep us coming back! Highly recommend!

Literally the slowest drive thru on the planet. 20+min to get 4 cars through only to be told that my drinks were made wrong and “is that ok or would you like them remade?” After waiting 20min?!?!!! Also not pet friendly, was told my 6 pound puppy that was being held in my arms was a “safety hazard” and I wouldn’t be allowed to order. Been treated with disdain almost every time I’m there. I’m a block from this location and have honestly driven miles to Starbucks to avoid dealing with them.

I love local coffee shops and enjoy this one when I am in this part of town. Large menu but not overwhelming. Good selection including food items. Sandwiches are much bigger than other coffee shops. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Love the drive thru. Highly recommend strawberry banana smoothie for non-coffee drinkers!

The craft of their brew, plain, simple; is good. However it’s sort of just another place that adds to much processed dairy and sugar. I don’t think of this is a curated local grinds cafe or some fine Italian espressos. It’s American coffee for sure, AND it can be indulgent and tasty for sure. I think they have some lovely baked goods and when sticking to their classics, good coffee etc.

Quick service, delicious cold beverages - i would absolutely recommend the malt cold brew, if it ever comes back on the menu (had it March 2021, but then in late April 2021 it was already not available).

Coffee is delicious! Went inside today, for the first time. Only my second time here. I saw this brownie in the case and it called my name.. Pam oh Pam you need me.. 😋. They were very busy yet the gentleman that waited on me made me feel like I was the only one there. I will be going back again and again. Oh I also love that they use a local bakery.

The customer service and location here is great. The drinks however are just a tad better than starbucks. The espresso is watery with little flavor. This shop has a great espresso machine but its definitely not being used the way that it could be.

Amazing coffee at amazing location. Patio outdoor sitting was add on!I ordered cardamom rose latte and it’s the best coffee I have ever had. I would love to try their all new flavors. Looking forward to be here again soon.

A genuinely wonderful cafe, I cannot recommend them enough. If youre not even a coffee person, I still recommend them, their drink options are diverse and delicious. Their quick and accurate service is only equal to their clean and pleasant interior seating area. A warm, contemporary interior welcomes you in to a lovely aroma of freshly ground and roasted coffee. And if all of that still isnt enough, they have food trucks there on occasion, such as Cousins Maine Lobster to name one. So thats pretty nifty too.

Armandos Blend whole bean is my go to for making my own espresso with rich crema. Its a superb roasted bean.

A nice place to go for some coffee and/or to chill! Like Ive been doing lately, I stopped in, grabbed an espresso and did some work on my laptop. Plenty of space to do so, internet provided by the shop, and cozy atmosphere. Theres a patio outside too with some benches, perfect for beautiful days like today was!

Friendly staff. I really like their seasonal coffee drinks the best. Pumpkin latte was very pumpkinny!Returned a couple weeks later and tried the red velvet coffee drink. Oh man was it good.Returned a couple months later and they had a super delicious Coconut Mocha. Of course, you have to like coconut.

My first time coming here and I thought it was a great place to do work. When it gets busy, it does get a bit loud and cramped. Theres not many tables, nor big tables for groups. Theres free WiFi and plenty of parking! Staff was very friendly and I loved their selection of drinks.I got the large Matcha Latte and absolutely loved it ~$4.25. I didnt like the chairs and tables much, just because they got uncomfortable after a bit. There are couches, but I couldnt do work while sitting in one. This place is good to work alone, but not great for a bigger group. I love the natural lighting and the outside patio seating. Theres also a food truck out front!I recommend this place for a calm environment, place to work, and good drinks.
