Wow! What an awesome vintage style motel! I’m a clean freak, and always do a room, bed, and towel inspection before I bring anything inside. When they say clean to the corners they aren’t kidding. The room was damn near spotless. Their housekeeper, who’s name is Ruth according to the name on the tip envelope, is doing a fantastic job! I made sure to leave her a tip she deserves it! This hotel is nothing fancy, however it’s not grossly outdated-just simple. Bed and pillows are comfy and has been fitted with comfy white sheets and comforter. 10/10 stay! Great job guys.

Great accommodation in Crestion, BC. We had a breakdown with our trailer and had to spend a few days in Creston while it was repaired. We picked the Creston Valley Motel based on decent reviews on Google. It was a good choice. The unit was clean, quiet and a good-sized room. The owners were friendly, helpful, and flexible, as we did not know how long our repair would take. Highly recommend this motel if youre visiting the Creston area.

The owners were awesome, the bed was great, the air con was great, everything was great! I fell in love with Steve and can’t wait to go back.

More than impressed. Came to $125 for 2 beds. I would expect an extremely outdated room for that price point but no, very clean and modest. The gentleman at the front desk was a pleasure to interact with, so welcoming and accommodating! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 100% recommend.

Housekeeping suites with full fridge, stove and some dishes and pots. Dated but nice and clean. Carpets throughout except kitchen.

LOVED IT! We arrived as a group of muscle cars and we loved every moment in this motel! Staff are so friendly & very accomodating. Rooms were ready and check in was super fast.

Friendly owners/staff. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Very quiet, no noise from other rooms. A block and a half to the arena, restaurants, pub etc. Room had a small fridge & coffee maker. They provided nice wine glasses and drink tumblers. Rates were good.

Best Motel! The cleanest motel Ive stayed in, and Ive stayed in many motels around the Kootenays, plus Im a neat freak. The rooms are well stocked and quiet, bed is cozy, and the small kitchen unit is great. Location is perfect and close to lots of amenities. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping does an excellent job, you can tell they care. Definitely recommended!

Older motel but nice and clean. Cater to bikers. Treat you good.Theyve always got towels for you to clean your bike. We always stay here when we ride.

Great place to stay, Ruth and Bill are awesome owners and help out when ever needed if needed. Rooms are very nice and the patio is a nice debriefing room after a long ride🍻

Highly recommended! My husband and I came in last minute, very kind service. Clean room, super comfy king bed, kitchenette with accessories, quiet night, we loved it. I would recommend updating your room photos as they are quite outdated. Otherwise, thanks so much!

I called to check on a room, and I received a great reception from Bill. When I got there a few hours later, everything was ready for my stay. The room was spacious, super clean and well appointed. I slept like I was in my own bed!

This is a great motel, walkable to all the amenities downtown Creston. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the hosts are fantastic. In the morning, the owners offered fresh coffee in the office. I stayed in October 2019.

We were very happy to lay our heads down in a Very clean and comfortable room. Staff was absolutely 💯 amazingly accommodating and Steve, always greater us with a wagging tail. We will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone we know going that way!

I will praise this motel to no end, we called at 9:30pm hoping for a room (about the 20th motel we calledand luckily they had one and were willing to wait an hour for us to get there. If not for them we would have had to sleep in the car. The room was spotless and beds were very comfortable. Very friendly guy, customer service was top notch. We would definitely recommend staying here!!

What a wonderfull experience. The amazing husband and wife were the most hospitable and accomodating for our needs. Their dog Steve was pretty cool and helped us from missing our dog whilst on our holiday.The rooms were brilliantly clean and had everything we needed to feel at home.The common area felt warm and cozy and the more private areas outside each room were the same.My husband and I were extremly tired from a very long drive and they made things happen to fit us into a room at a rotten time, juggled a room for a man with one leg, and a booked motel. Every single car, Motorcycle, truck had a stall had a space and everyone was respected and respectful.We Cant wait to come back!!!

The suite had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. The kitchen and living room were cozy , spotlessly clean, and the king size bed was extra comfy. Bill and Ruth were friendly and very helpful. We would definitely come back again.

Really friendly staff and owners. We were stuck due to some car problems and they were really accommodating (we had a dog and a truck bed full of our belongings)! This place was clean and really eager to tell you about the area, even great places to walk our dog.

Everything was great, 5 stars! Clean, good bed, the tv worked, good water temp, DOG FRIENDLY! Only thing is the the coffee machine hadnt been cleaned out. Everywhere else it was clean and up to snuff! Stay here!

Stayed here while on a motorcycle vacation with friends. Owner/manager was awesome and had excellent advice on local restaurants and sights. He even had a designated spot along with water and rags to clean our bikes. Rooms were REALLY clean and comfortable. Tons of restaurants within walking distance. Excellent value for the $ spent. Would stay here again.

Always a pleasure to stay here. Quaint but very clean. Simple rooms friendly staff. You can sit outside and enjoy the weather.

Comfortable beds,clean rooms,close to all amenities and is really Biker friendly.Bill and Ruth really went above and beyond by drying our wet clothes for us when we encountered heavy rain on our bike trip. I will definitely stay there again. Thanks,Mike Griffin

Rooms were clean, Ruth was fantastic, we had a large group and stayed a couple nights. Treated us all like family, even hung out and got to know us all a little. Can’t see staying anywhere else if we are in the area looking forward to our next visit

Well, it was excellent because people feel welcome and at ease. It’s a feel at home place to rest and relax. Bill & Ruth are wonderful people that truly go above and beyond, not to mention they ensure that their guests are comfortable. The details matter to me. The amount of work and care into the flowers and foliage is just beautiful and I love that they care not only for their guests but also for our feathered friends that have little dwellings of their own so that they too can have a place to stay and nest. A lot of care and consideration has been put forth in this little place. Thank you guys very much for everything.P.S. Thank you to Steve ( the wonderful dog). I was pleasantly surprised when I checked into this motel in March of 2019. Its a great motel for the budget minded, it was very clean the owners were fantastic. I would definitely stay there again.

Came upon this hotel on day 8 of a different hotel every night. It had the most comfortable bed, and was super clean! A cute and cozy stay and the owner was super nice!

Fantastic place! Stayed there for a couple of nights in August and would definitely go back. Owners are hilarious, rooms are clean. 10/10 would recommend!!

Stayed here Sept long. Bill and Ruth are awesome. Their dog Steve is very friendly and playful. Rooms are very clean. It is in walking distance of down town. Have stayed here many times in the past and it has always been an enjoyable experience. Henry & Evelyn

Very clean, their motto is "Clean to the corners" and it shows! This is an old in years motel. Dont let that fool you. Its not old inside. Most furnishings are either new or very functional older pieces. Bathroom is newly renovated with all new furnishings. Very friendly and helpful staff. Could not ask for more at a very reasonable price. Owners deserve a lot of credit for what they have done with this place. I will definitely stop here again if I pass throught Creston again!MMJ

I have stayed here a couple of times now. The owners of this motel--including their really cute dog--are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and this motel is very motorcycle-friendly. It is a great base for exploring the surrounding area, including the Selkirk loop. The rooms are literally spotless (and I can really attest to this, as I have worked as a housekeeper myself before), and the housekeeping staff is very friendly as well. There are restaurants, fast food chains, and a liquor store, all within easy walking distance. Creston Valley Motel will always be my motel of choice when travelling through the area, regardless of whether Im in my car or on my bike.

This is a great little motel when passing through town! The motel is definitely “vintage” but I give it 5/5 for cleanliness hands down! Pet friendly too which was the reason we stayed here! No carpet but the upside is you know the floors are clean!!!!

We stayed here Thusday October 26 and Saturday October 29. We had a beautiful and very clean room. It was comfortable and the bed was so fantastic.Elleen was our host and what a delightful evening both nights just taking to her. And the motel dog Steve is fantastic and fun.We the Creston Valley Motel to everyone.A nice family group❤

My husband & I stayed in this little gem of a motel last night..we were very tired & it was the perfect stop for us. Our King Suite was so spotlessly clean & quiet. It has the best bed ever & nice flat pillows. Thanks to Bill for his nice welcoming way!!! We will be back for sure!!!

Found this place by chance, and could not have been happier! The owner was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the area and its amenities. Very dog friendly too. The room was spotless, updated recently, and had super comfortable beds. Hope I get a chance to visit again someday!

I absolutely fell in love with this quaint little gem and if I was going to stay in the area for a few days, I would pick this place. We were just staying overnight, alas. Now, dont misunderstand me, I am not using the word quaint as code for antiquated or run down. This small motel feels like someones home. Welcoming and hospitable. Friendly staff, right down to the beautiful dog who lazed around the office door. Gorgeous little garden area, guests were sitting outside their rooms, quietly enjoying the day. We didnt hear a peep from our neighbours by the way. While there werent the perks of a chain, the atmosphere drew me in. Our room was easy access for me. While not handicapped accessible in the strictest sense of the word, I was able to get around our room quite easily. The room had 2 queen beds and it was a tight fit. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, we were happy with our stay. Sign out was seamless, the manager was more than accommodating, she saw us pull up to the office to drop off the key, and came out to take the key so we didnt have to go in.TIP: If you like an extremely quiet room, ask for a room at the back, those rooms dont face the main street. Only draw back to those rooms is that there isnt a view of the charming little garden.

One of the nicest rooms Ive stayed in, very cosy and the best bed ever! Ruth and Bill are very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Overall an excellent place to stay at very reasonable rate, I will definitely stay there again.

Nice location, downtown and close to a lot of services. Rooms were nice and clean. Internet was good and the cable ah lots of channels. TV picture was distorted where some of the image was off screen. All in all a good motel for a decent price.

Great little motel. As advertised - very clean. Room was not huge but certainly more than adequate. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was quite large and the tub and shower were great. In-room coffee was available as well as a large carafe in the motel office if you did not feel like making your own. Hosts/owners/managers were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Although the motel does not offer a cafe or restaurant, it is centrally located and within walking distance of many different culinary options. I highly recommend this - great value for the money.
