Neat and tidy, plenty of picnic tables in the boat ramp area8. Seems to be plenty of camping areas. Not alot of flat ground.

A stunning location for a stay or picnic.

Magical, peaceful, just ahhhhhhhhhh. The camping ground offers generous, thoughtfully placed tent sites, among occasional gum trees with or without BBQ fire places, which are regularly mowed & debris free (no rocks, sticks or leaves to clear away). The site surrounds Lake Cressbrook on huge sloping grassy meadows with wildflowers, mushrooms, kangaroos, koalas, possums, lizards, magpies, parrots, kookaburras & other native birds. There is a large camp kitchen area with picnic tables, a kitchen sink, stove & power. The amenities building is excellent with lights, power, hot water showers & wheelchair access. There is one designated wheelchair accessible tent space. Every day the Lake is stunning, so the morning view is worth every second. The quiet is pristine & peacefilled due to the lack of electromagnetic radiation; there is no internet or mobile phone access, so sleep or read in blissful peace. Fishing but not swimming, is permitted, the boat ramp is often busy.

It is a quit place

It is very quite place for relaxing and enjoying the wild life. It is well facilitated

A great place to relax, but sadly its not improving. We come here since about 10 years, the first years, the amenities (great big showers, hot watergot cleaned every day, the ranger came around talked to you, looked after the place.The caravan camp sites were surrounded by grass, now they are big sandy areas, very dusty, its nicer to camp in the paddock.We arrived Monday, the amenities were dirty, only one toilet had toilet paper, by Thursday still the same. Very sad!

I almost dont want to share this place because it is way awesome. $8 per night and its better than some caravan parks.Wildlife, great facilities, walking tracks and BBQ pits.
