Long, rocky beach with kid-friendly tide pools & views of the bay & distant mountains.
Parking is hard in proximity, but parking far from the beach is worth it. Entering from the street to the beach area feels like heaven. You can spot random weddings of attractive couples and their friends as well.
Its an okay beach, good for a summer day or going for a walk during the colder parts of the year
Although it is busy during the summer months, it is a great place to get away from the city and spend the day.
Peaceful place to be at along with long walking track . Cycling in the area can be enjoyable too
Our favorite Crescent beach, the best place to see the sunset.
It is a rock beach 🏝Very peaceful place place. There is a long way next to the beach. Very suitable for running or just go for a walk 🚶🏻♀️🚶🏿Saw quite a lot of people walking their dog there. 🫰🏽
Great oceanfront walking. Love to see the beautiful houses on the promenade. Public washrooms, lots of benches, beach area, park area, volleyball setup. A nice place for a scenic afternoon stroll - with a hint of crabs and seaweed in the ocean breeze 🦀
Nice place to go with children. Amazing landscape.
Excellent beach. Nice breeze, Shallow waters, less shops and restaurants. Sunset from here is beautiful. Best place for the kids to play.
Lovely place on Surrey. Beach, beautiful sunset, green area and good places to eat.
Adore this beach and they offer wonderful little shops along the way!¡
Our favorite beach to visit. So much fun everytime. Long trail to walk, so beautiful when water tide out you can walk for kilometers on the sand so cool. Beautiful sunset, good foods there and clean washroom so what else do you want except for the limited parking but we always lucky to get one :D
Ive been coming to Crescent Beach since I was a child, and its one of my favourite places to visit. Whether you want to take a dip in the ocean, sit by the ocean, grab a bite to eat, or go for a walk, theres a lot of options, and the views are always phenomenal (especially the sunsets). If you continue to walk past where the path ends, onto the rocky part of the beach beside the train tracks, it is less busy, and every time I go, I always see bald eagles and Golden Eagles. Its a great place to see wildlife and enjoy breathtaking beauty.
Amazing place and great time, but just wanted to share my experience of what I witnessed. These 2 girls were throwing bottles in the ocean, there is signs all around that say littering or dumping is not prohibited. These are who they were hopefully this behavior wont go unnoticed
Nice place to be on a sunny day. Not very much on a cloudy or a rainy day. Very good views. Theres street parking around which may or may not be available. Good place for a picnic. A couple of cafes and restaurants nearby.
Crescent Beach is an absolute gem its stretches a long-distance all the way to Blackie spit Park. Follow the paved walk way. Or you can walk along the sand if the tide is out. There are washrooms at both ends, cafes and restaurants before you enter the beach. What a gorgeous walk, amazing view seeing the Ocean touch the sky. There also Trails you can take on your way back. Ive been to the beach around White Rock Pier a few times now, this was my first time here and it is definitely a level up. Parking was ok come early. Awsome beach for the whole family.💯💯
One of my favourite beach in surrey and WhiteRock. Alway bring kids here . Long beach walk trial, facing the ocean and see sunset which is very impressive. Meanwhile there is picnic table and grass land for friends and families gathering here.
Love the view and houses. Its a good easy flat walk. The path and the park is always clean which is the best part. Bathrooms are on both end and are also clean.
Love the view! So serene and you can walk the shore and along the pier on a beautiful sunny April
I wish no one knew about this remote beach as it gets crazy busy in the summer. There’s limited parking and there’s only one road in. The railroad goes through there and blocks the road, creating standstill traffic. I feel for the residents of Crescent Beach. Last I hear, there are plans to build and overpass over the tracks. The area isn’t overly developed and that’s the charm. There are a few old fashioned cafes and they all get busy. Though a few of them are probably due for a replacement…I am extremely lucky to be able to walk here and avoid the traffic. I love getting a coffee at the Sunflower Cafe and stroll along the beach. The water can be cold even in the summer and it’s very rocky. Bring your water shoes.
Im here probably once a week in summer. Fave beach in the lower mainland
The view in a clear sunny day and a cloudy day gives you the same beauty.Sunset is always spectacular !
Beautiful beach in a lovely Sunny Day🌤️nature at its best👏
Beautiful place. My dogs love to go way down the beach.
Prepare to be awe struck even on the gray-est most dullest days. Besides the boundless views on the bay, there is a well maintained walk way, clean washrooms and plenty of strangers greeting you. Quick stroll here in the morning will guarantee a great day ahead
I love this beach for swimming so much it’s exquisite and beautiful; the ocean gets deep very rapidly which is nice. It is also has a nice open space to barbecue or have a picnic!
Lovely beach. Parking is a bit of a struggle on weekends. Less crowded when compared to other neighbouring beaches.Clean washroom facilities and lots of street parking. The area close to Blackie Spit is always crowded and busy but the other end of the beach is much more peaceful.
Normal beach 🏖Almost 30 km drive from SurreyWater is not so clean, may be due to crowd on weekend.Good place to chill out for 1-2 hrs or barbecued or food party in summer. However not so great like English bay beach.
Not that great of a beach compared to other beaches. White rock is close by so you can go to that when you’re here. People tend to stare at each other a lot here which makes you feel uncomfortable but after a few minutes I chose to just ignore them and mind my own business. There is a ice cream right by the place I took the picture with 62 flavours and it is really good.
Wonderful place for hiking, biking and picnic along the seaside. A lot of water activities can be done here, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming and sailboating etc.
Good place in the summer to swim. There 8a a lifeguard on duty but make sure to come early because parking can be tough. Dogs arent allowed at the swimming beach but there is a dog beach by the parking lot.
What a super time can be had at the place.Great place to spend time with your family and friends. I really like this beach because there is so much to do here daily, kayaking, paddle boarding , diving so many things, please when you visit take your memories but leave only footprints behind. this is also a great place to shoot portraits and models
Kids always like to play and find shells and crabs at beach.Nice family place to spend time in sunshine.👍
Nice beach to walk!Hard to find parking and can be crowded during weekends.Nice restaurants around for fish n chips and gelato/ice cream.
Nice Beach in a very beautiful Neighborhood. I love this beach as it is very beautiful and good during the sunset. I highly recommend this beach to anyone who want to spent a nice evening.
Best beach! Love the feeling of the sand on my feet. It isnt like the other beaches, where the sand feels rough. Also if you go early, the water is very far back, so you are able to walk quite far.
Visit Crescent Beach for a fun day on the seaside! Enjoy swimming, beach volleyball and scenic views from the pier and nature trails. The best beach access points are found on Beecher Street, Sullivan Street, and Target Street. At Sullivan Point, you will find spots to play beach volleyball and a large grassy area ideal for a blanket picnic.
Love Crescent Beach! Lots of room to roam along the beach front and check out the beautiful waterfront homes or do some beach combing. Fantastic views and sunsets!! Parking can be a challenge to find, but at least it’s free!
Fun beach for the family. Tide goes way out and you can walk out on the sand/mud bars. Lots of food and ice cream close by. Lovely walking path with quaint and upscale beach homes on one side and the ocean on the other. A very cool community. Good for little children and older as well.
Amazing place, excellent for walk along the beach. Beautiful sunset watched. Try once, you would keep visiting again and again.
beach is very clean well maintained! we loved coming here for a stroll on a sunny day, but make sure to put on sunscreen!! very nice day to see clear clouds.
Very nice beach. More of a laid back kind of area compared to White Rock. It is also surrounded with lots of places to eat. Do not forget to visit Martinos 110 flavors of Gelato while youre in the area.
Beautiful place to have a walk along the beach, and if you get tired, there are plenty of benches to sit and rest your feet. We enjoy going there in the warm evening to watch the sunset. It’s popular with families as children can play in the sand and pick shiny pebbles or sea shells. There’s a variety of vendors available to dine in or take out, 100’s of gelatos and ice cream flavours to choose from, plenty of parking all of which is free, people bring their kayaks and canoes to enjoy water sports activities. It’s truly a lovely place to come and spend a sunny day at.
Crescent beach is a nice place to relax and smell the breeze. Part of the beach is rocky though. Also it does get crowded at times and finding a parking spot, especially one that is close to the beach so you dont have to walk too far, can sometimes be challenging. This place also has some food shops, which is nice so you can get a bite after a long walk or if ever you get tired and hungry.
Crescent Beach is an amazing place to go when you are in the south Surrey white rock area. The environment is very welcoming an fanioy friendly. There is a ton of area for picnics, the are some sandy areas to lie down, there is a sand volleyball court, and when in season a lifeguard at one end of the beach. There is also a small pier at one end of the beach, and shops and washrooms at the other side. The one main problem is that parking can be difficult to find. When its sunny out and in the busy season, the parking lots that are available fill up very quickly.
A nice place to go for walk. There is a famous gelato ice cream nearby. This beach is always windy. Its great for family and kids. Parking is limited always busy especially during summer. We love to come here to catch the sunset.
Beautiful getaway from the city. Stunning views to the Gulf Islands. And a great place to spot Bald Eagles soaring near the SE bluffs
Beautiful beach. Come early get very crowded on sunny days. Great for photoshoots when the tide goes out. Bring flip flops or something in the summer. The water was very warm and soothing for the photos attached.
Love this beach! Imo its much better than the busy, touristy ones in Vancouver. Scenic & beautiful. Mostly rocky, with some patches of sand for toddlers buckets and lots of drift wood seating. Nice long walking path. And in summer I prefer to go to the even quieter side (by the stairsto wade/swim (note: the showers are closer to Blackie spit.Oh and there are a couple little shops & restaurants walking distance to grab a bite, drink or ice cream!
This is my new favorite beach... I went on a Saturday afternoon thinking I wouldnt stay long, however I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was free parking and there wasnt tat many people there. We go to the beach to relax, walk along the Waters edge and do some people watching. This is a great place to collect some rocks for painting and/or stacking...
