Creggan Country Park in Omagh

Brilliant day at Creggan Country park. Lots of fun and great staff.

A little detour on my walk today as it was such a nice day. This isnt a long walk around the park but its great if you just want to get out in the fresh air. And theres a cafe too on site which I havent tried yet but heard great reports about.

Closed at the weekend which isnt on their website or on Google. Really disappointed.

I visited Creggan country park at the beginning of February on a cold overcast day. The place was very quiet with a few people walking their dogs around the middle lake. Theres plenty of parking beside the main building and information boards at the carpark and around the lake. Its possible to walk around most of the lake at the moment, but theres a gate locked at the final bit which means returning the way you came. The path is tarmaced, but a little muddy. I enjoyed listening to the birds as I did a 45 minute walk around the lake and back. It would be a lovely place to visit in the spring or summertime and is a good place for walking, fishing and water sports. Theres a cafe in the main building, but not fully operational during covid restrictions.

Tasty reel is really nice and really good offer on and I had beautiful chicken box out off it last night 15 /10/ 2020 hats off to the chef.mmmm sunday days are also good. Please try it out.

Creggan country park is good but they need to fix the problem with the water dissapearing

Amazing for nature and wildlife. Great day out with the kids. The cage is absolutely incredible and is really cheap too. Fantastic. Well worth a visit

It was a lovely place to go for a days fishing I would really recommended for anyone else to go:)

Had a great couple of hours here kayaking, floats and jumping off pier. Instructor very professional and brilliant with the children. Great way to spend a few hours and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

Ignorant staff , poor condition wetsuits , not much things to do on the water

We spent our last morning with our summer scheme here this morning. What a brilliant bunch of people. Our young people had a "splash of a time" 😁

This is a gem for the people of creggan and sorrounding areas. Water sports fishing somewhere to dine after all that running about doing activities all ages can go

Great facility run by enthusiastic, welcoming people. Food quality and service is excellent.

Love this place and so does my kids. Staff are great and food lovely. Leaders are on the ball for safety around the water and the gardens and walk ways are beautiful.

Beautiful place for lunch simplicity at its finest , strawberry gateux and ice cream for dessert compliments a day like today beautiful walk way and of course great fun for kids , i coulda done with a dip in the water myself x beautiful place right on my door step 🌞💜 well done everyone who plays a part here 🌅

We had a brilliant afternoons fun for my daughters 14th birthday. A good variety of activities on the assault course, Noel the instructor was great with kids, safety conscious and very encouraging with the more anxious kids. Super place
