Crazy Fire Mongolian Grill in Fayetteville
Description
Privilege
Great food, great price, great cooks, great wait staff, great all around. We absolutely love it!
MoreThe end result of the food is really good but when it is raw on the buffet line it looks a little suspicious. Not the best quality of food and the building needs to be renovated.
MoreThe chefs were really funny, cracked jokes and kept it lively! Brownie points for the chef who wore the Naruto headband! Me and my fiancee enjoyed our first time there very much!
MoreThe food and the service was good. The two cooks were very entertaining.
One of my favorite go to spots when I visit Fayetteville.
Good food. Extra service help is needed for waiters/waitress handling large parties with separate checks. Check out was very slow and cumbersome. The waiter was overwhelmed by the cashing out of parties.
MoreI would give it 0 but can’t. They charged me twice. I went it and they refunded the money to which the money went back into my account. Today I look at my account and the charge is back on. The food was not that good to begin with. Beyond frustrated with this place.
MoreI love this place! The buffet has great selections - just beware if you suck at seasoning this may not be the place for you. You pick out the ingredients and season to taste, then they cook it all up with grill swords. Bad@ss way of cooking if you ask me. If the line is long youre going to have quite the wait to get yours cooked up, so STUFF THOSE BOWLS TO THE BRIM and to minimize how much time you spend in line.
MoreThe food is delicious, but my big issue here is how long it takes. On a busy night, you can wait in line for your food for upwards of 20 or 30 minutes. I think another grill would definitely help increase customer numbers while also decreasing wait times!
MoreThis buffet in Fayetteville is absolutely delicious the food the service and Harlen is always amazing. The cooks entertaining.
MoreLong story short the staff was all super friendly and nice but the food was garbage. The long story is that this was a literal waste of money. We have a Mongolian bbq in Idaho where I am from and it’s so good! I was so excited since I’ve been missing it but this is a sad wannabe knock off version of that. The noddles aren’t even Asian style noodles, they are SPAGHETTI noodles. The meat is cut into chunks rather than cut in strips so when the meat is cooked it has to cook for longer and becomes dried out since the cooker is so hot all of the “sauce” just evaporates instead of soaking into true actual food. The only gala or that sticks with this method is hot. Don’t wast your time or your money.
MoreWe tried this place because I wanted Ghenis Grill and this seemed similar..Food & service from the waitress was good. But the place has a lot going on.. its ghetto really... the buffet was unorganized/untidy, the lady bringing the food out for the buffet line was not pleasant, the hostess didnt greet us until my husband made us known (even if it wasnt her job to seat us she couldve said somethingthe chef made some racial comments jokingly but still.. seems like the flow to the buffet area and waiting for your food to be cooked could be set up better.I know they wash the bowls but the chefs were throwing and kicking bowls across the floor .. I mean like I said I know it gets washed but dang. The sauce containers for the food is disgusting to deal with sauce dripping off the sides and in the floor and around the buffet line.. and around the containers then seasoning corner was crusted. I didnt use the older looking ones but the food was good, portion size is good too but the line and wait is so long your dont even want to go back so I see why people were stuffing their plates... just not the best experience for us. Lol but it was less than $40 for the both of us.You can try it but I wont be back.
MoreI barely ate my food due several violations of cross contamination that i saw. You guys got to tighten up. Your chef barely cleaned his utensils. My coworkers that were there with me became ill hours later. Never coming back.
MoreJC is a great cook! Hes really personable and informative. He wants to make sure his customers have the best experience they can. He really took care of my group and ensured we had the best experience possible.
MoreVery good food and including the service. When I had the second plate of food with chicken and vegetables including with pineapple, wow its awesome. That brings a different consistency. Loved the food.
MoreIt was pretty good. You pick it , they cook it kinda place. Steak, chicken, seafood. Kinda hibachi style in a way.
MoreThey were slow as sh_t. Food was good but not worth waiting for 45 minutes for them to cook it. Was on my lunch break. First time customer. Not going back.
MoreI love this place.. I especially love the fact that I can pick what ingredients I "want" to have included in my plate and have them cooked. And if your vegan this place is a superior option for your needs.
MoreI have to say that I was very pleased with the overall atmosphere and food at crazy fire. We ate at the bar n had a few drinks and it is now one of my top spots to go to for a relaxing evening
MoreFirst time ever coming in to this establishment. Had a great experience until the end. My wife and I ordered drinks. From the bar. And got pure sour mix in our drinks. The most disgusting thing ever. Informed the waitress that we did not like the drinks. And did not want anything else in return. The drinks. Put a bad taste in our mouth. And did not feel comfortable ordering a new drink. Due to how horrible the first drinks were made. Pure sour mix and Pepsi. The manager come out and refused to refund the drinks off the order and said I can either take a remake or pay for the drink that I returned and that she was not going to refund the drinks. We only took a very small sip out of our dinks. After spending money for my family (wife and kids.I don’t recommend coming here. The manager was very rude. About the situation. Very unhappy not a good experience at all. I will not be back.
MoreNothing like BDs Mongolian BBq. The beer was flat and the ingredients left out to make bowls were gross. There was cross contamination with ingredients. There were no dishes for the sauces and seasons which traditionally go on right before the food is pulled off the grill. There were only two cooks and the grill heat up way too high with no oil put down. If I had to guess Id say they probably wouldnt pass inspections in cleanliness and food practices. The waitress was very nice though and attentive. Overall way over priced for sub par burnt beef and dry noodles. Hope the management pulls it together, could be a huge hit if they did.
MoreIt was a cool experience. You can pick all the ingredients you want to do. You really need to be patient and know that youre gonna wait 30-40 minutes (at leastfor your food to be ready if theres a lot of people on the line. Patience is the key definitely
MoreOk, I’m going to cut straight to the chase. It’s not worth it. The reviews on here that I read were miss leading. In no way was it worth any of the money I spend. When you go through a real Mongolian line you have a bigger variety. There was only one choice on pasta noodles(Hugh turn off), the option they gave were limited and they have the sauce in the line verses letting the cooks pour it on so your meats aren’t dry and tasteless. I could go on about this place but I’ll leave it there. For those that have never traveled outside of this state, you’ll probably like it. Everyone else that has traveled and experienced life you will be disappointed greatly.
MoreWe were recommended to this place by a good friend that eats here all the time!! They did not disappoint! ALL you can eat!!!!!
MoreGreat place to take the kids and let them pick exactly what they want and watch their food being made. Buffet style is the way to go for a big family like mine. We love it!!! And the kids like to ring the 🔔. Lol
MoreBeen here 3 times love the food the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The food is what you make so if its bad thats on you just try again.
MoreHoly moly! First time visiting but definitely not the last. How unique! Totally tasty and affordable. Got to grove with great music while we ate. Chatted with oh so friendly patrons and staff. A gem of a place. Youve got to try this place
MoreCelebrate a 12 year old birthday party. The restaurant was her pick. Everyone joined in from the cooks to the waitress making her day special. She walked away with a slice of cheese cake with Carmel sauce and a gong from the cooks who were fathers themselves. Lovely.
MoreLots of options and if you dont like it, you only have yourself to blame since you assemble everything. It can get busy but grab a drink and play around with the cooks while your concoction is being cooked.
MoreFirst time to a Mongolian style restaurant. Basically go through the buffet line and pick up all the raw items you want cooked. Season your items the way you want them with the huge choices of various sauces and dry spices. Take to the large grill area and the staff / cooks / Chefs, cook to your liking. The waitstaff brings your drinks and checks up on you frequently. You can make multiple trips through the line (thats what I didas I wasnt quite sure how to do. That being said, its mix and match to your liking for spices and so forth.
MoreUse to be my spot to eat, loved and had the frequent diner plan also, but I miss the sushi use to spend easily right at $100 with tips... Find away to bring sushi back
MoreThe food was excellent! With the buffet, you get your moneys worth! Your food is prepared right in front of you and is cooked perfectly. You choose what you want cooked together. My 8 month old loved it.
MoreThe food and service were outstanding! I just didnt like waiting for it over by the cooks while the ice in my scotch was melting. They were entertaining but I couldve enjoyed my drink. Ill do take out from now on.
MoreWe went 4/10/22 around 6pm my family of 6. It was my son’s 9th birthday. Came to check in and had a 45 minute wait. The host called us at 7:12pm. We had to wait on the waiter for drinks, which was very nice by the way. We got to the gathering station there were no bowls for at least 10 more minutes. We had a long line of people in front of us. By the time our food was prepared. They were putting all the food away. We weren’t told that the restaurant closed at 8:00 when we’ve only been waiting for 2 hours, no second plate and this is a Buffet. The manager proceeded to tell us there was no way to accommodate us. This was our fist visit to the restaurant. Only 10% off the bill. I felt like it was handled poorly. We would’ve like to at least made a to-go tray. The food was good but we couldn’t enjoy the experience.
MoreHad a really good family lunch out on Saturday! Fresh ingredients that you can customize in your own way! Really tasty 😋
MoreBlind trust report: All review’s are now sent to companies officials page.In my opinion all restaurants receive 3 stars at start in the blind trust report. How well can you blindly trust your restaurant? Food for thought.Blind trust are random.
MoreEvery thing was great until I found a tiny spine in my food. I had chicken, beef, and baby salad shrimp (not deveinednone of which I should find the tiny skeleton in.....When brought to our servers attention she told us it’s from the shrimp and that they are hard to clean and it why she doesn’t eat seafood. Drinks were okay tho..
MoreAbsolutely delicious!... You pick your items ahead and they cook it for you right then and there. It is all fresh ingredients. They cook it thoroughly and quite fast. The staff was very friendly and explained the menu and how everything worked with a smile. I definitely recommend.
MoreA new kind of dining experience for me, but food was delicious and staff was friendly. Who knew watching your food get cooked in front of you with giant metal knives was so much fun?
MoreWe love this place! We normally fill two bowls and make one trip up. Others will go up multiple times. You will want to go with an empty stomach as you get full fast!During this pandemic they have a very nice and safe setup. You must remain at a safe distance from people who are not in your group. You must sanitize your hands and put on gloves before filling your bowl(s).Over all this trip everything was stocked and we didnt have a super long wait at the grill. The food line was a little messy with sauces and food particles on the ledge. Service was overall okay. Nothing over the top happened. My husband and I both got waters this time, but we have ordered drinks in the past from the bar. They have never disappointed! Always get your white sauce, it is amazing.
MoreIt’s incredible place with cool cooks, they work really hard for customers’ pleasure. I really enjoyed grilled meat and baby corn, Also onion and all vegetables with meat and rice - omg it so tasty, I don’t recommend pasta and shrimps - sure their strong side not in these - eat vegetables and meat here!!!
MoreThis place is better than I thought it would be. This is a great place for Hibachi style food. I was skeptical of this place because you have to grab your own ingredients, but it actually works out really well. The cooks are cordial and keep the lines moving even on busy nights. I
MoreAmazing food! We were there during the lunch rush so it was as too be expected...quite a deplay as everyone is getting their food cooked. With the exception of the long wait, the service was outstanding. The waitress was super nice and the cooks were fun and made the long wait quite entertaining by doing tricks similar to tapayaki restaurants. Totally recommend this place!
MoreThey dont have sushi here despite advertising that they do on their website. The Mongolian grill has poor quality meat (tiny shrimp/scallops). The noodles they serve are spaghetti noodles--cmon this is not an Italian restaurant, Asian style noodles dont cost that much. The sauces are difficult to mix and judge how much you are adding because they are in jugs that you pour out rather than having measured ladles to put them on. The only good thing here was the peanut butter pie for dessert.
MoreWe were hoping to have sushi when we originally went here but they said the sushi chef had gone solo. That was kind of a bummer. The food was pretty good though and they had plenty of space and patience for our large party. Over all good experience.
MoreThis is my favorite place to eat whenever Im in town! They have all you can eat during lunch for less than $10. Theres always a big assortment of meats and veggies. You can get an egg, too. You can choose from white rice, brown rice, or noodles. They fry it up just right. Theres also a sushi menu. The sushi is fresh and yummy. Prices are good, service is good, food is good. Wear your eating pants when you come!
MoreWe loved this place! From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted warmly, seated swiftly, and our server was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious and I have found my new favorite restaurant!! I will definitely be back!!!
MoreAvoid. Its all you can eat because it takes you 45 minutes to wait in line after you pick out your raw food & season it yourself. You hand it to a cook & wait for them to cook it along with 9 other peoples. Its a hassle and you better have confidence in your combination and spices because if you dont like it then you have to redo your 45-60 minute stint in line. Its too exhausting for average food especially if you are hungry expecting to eat right away. (Howeverit took us 10 minutes to be assigned a waiter & once we finally got one he was amazing. He constantly refilled our drinks and decorated our dessert nicely (he is the only reason this is not a 1 Star reviewFyi they have a sushi bar there that is sold separately and not included in the buffet price. If you see the buffet sign & are looking for an instant gratification meal this is not it. This is more of a do it yourself hibachi.
MoreAlways amazing. The sushi is great. Plenty of options. The "make your own food" grill is fun (if you dont like it, its your fault). The service is always on point and friendly. While I wasnt a fan of some of the signature drinks, I did enjoy a few dessert cocktails with my girls.
MoreThis was my first visit and experience at this type of establishment. I was a bit clueless how things went, however this is exactly why this place deserves five stars. The waiter explained the process, which involves getting a bowl and heading to a "bar" which features multiple types of meats and vegetables including onions, mushrooms, green peppers, shredded potatoes, and raw meats such as shrimp, chicken, beef, scallops, crab and even squid! Afterwards, you select and add a sauce and/or spices. You gather what you want and take your items to the grill in which multiple chefs will prepare your food right there in front of you. You can decide whether you want white or fried rice with your food, or not at all.Granted, this place was crowded, BUT after entering, and going through this ENTIRE process, it was still less time than other places would take to take your order from a waitress or waiter, have it cooked and brought out to you. I will be definitely returning again!
