Sizable museum housing an ample collection of antique cars, aircraft, carriages & other artifacts.
Nice collection of some of the most iconic vehicles and a few famous aircraft that are worth seeing up close. Will definitely return.
Great collection of planes, cars and motorcycles, but thats not what I travelled from Florida to see. Back on display is the 13 1/2 foot sailboat Robert Manry, Cleveland Plain Dealer copy editor, sailed solo across the Atlantic in 1965. I was captivated by the story when I first read his book as a child, and every time since. Seeing Tinkerbelle was one of the few unchecked boxes on my bucket list. Check. Not only did I see her, but the curator went out of his way to ensure my trip to the museum was a full Tinkerbelle experience. If you dont know Tinkerbelle, see her in all her glory anyway. Read the book, and watch the DVD for sale in the gift shop. Both are extremely well done. Thank you, Crawford!
Small Museum but beautifully maintained. The free carousel is the star.
A nice collection of vintage and classic automobiles...quality not quantity!
Very interesting, learned alot. Wish the mansion tour was open everyday. We were only in town for 1 day of free time. The replica mansion was done beautifully tho. And gardens were amazing, some still under reconstruction. But that let you see all the work and craftsmanship that went into the beauty.
Wow! There was way more inside thani had expected from the variety and number of motorcycles, cars, and airplanes. Excellent displays and dont miss the wonderful carousel!
The motorcycle museum is there and historic Ohio mansions as well as a real carousel and the Goodyear blimp! Botanical gardens next door!
Great place to visit lots of great historical things to see
Such a cute and informative museum! Theres great interactive exhibits with lots of Cleveland history, some really cool old cars/motorcycles/airplanes, and the refurbished carousel ride from the old theme park in by Erie (you can ride as many times as you want). I definitely plan to come back to see their exhibit on Women in Politics and show some friends this amazing center.
Great exhibits, worth walking around once. The lower level currently being renovated, but looks promising.
Love the carousel IL ve old homes and this is one beautiful place
Really neat experience the carousel was a lot of fun too!
Great selection of autos and motorbikes. The carousel is a must see/ride. It has to be the finest restored example in the country.
We attended the motorcycle event today. A really satisfying visit.
Awesome place lots of history of cars, motorcycles, air planes and millionaire row mansions highly reccomend the guides tour
Nice collection of bikes and cars. I forgot that the carousel was included. Great stepping back in time.
Loved the unique bikes and cars that they had on display. Little unorganized but worth the time to see some rare pieces of history!
This place use pretty incredible. Much better than we expected. Im not even into cars or motorcycles and I was fascinated by the exhibit. The carousel is a hit for the kids. Overall, an excellent place for a family to visit.
Awesome museum for anyone who liked history, cars, aircraft or just cool mechanical stuff. Not very big but located near a bunch of other great places to visit
A lot of awesome history as well as great carousel and activities for the kids.
Jazz concert by Mark Pizza Relief a tribute to his father who played bass guitar 🎸
So MANY vehicles!! Very interesting.
This was my first time here and the history of cars that are here are definitely interesting. I was also told that in the summer they are going to have nothing but exotic motorcycles. There is one car thats the last ever made and the DeLorean is the first ever made.
A great place to go on a cold Cleveland day. My only complaint is that the carousel and little village town replica were both closed due to covid. 😷😔
This is really three museums all under one roof with the Crawford Auto Aviation being the biggest. You start at the Cleveland History Center where you can learn a lot about the city. Then you have the option to turn left into the Western Reserve Historic Mansions where you can walk around and see historic women’s garments from the beginning of Cleveland until the early 1900s. If you turn right then you are in the auto aviation museum. There you can find amazing vintage cars from the dawn of automobiles, classic stainless steel cars, history of steam and electric cars to aviation which features a WW2 mustang and the bottom passenger portion of the Goodyear blimp. There’s also a perfectly reserved Euclid Beach Ferris wheel. So all in all you get a lot of Cleveland, fashion and automobiles.
This Museum is great. If love fashion, Cleveland, and automotive history; this is a great place to go too. There is also a carousel you can ride on. The cost there isnt much.
This is a very cool place for a car guy and his lady. Along with many historic cars and planes of the Cleveland area, there is a mansion tour and a history of fashion exhibit. We didnt have a chance to see everything because I was so floored by the cars. Well be going back soon. 👍
Never even knew about the museum gallery, where you walk through 2 mansions. That was on addition to the connection of cars and aircraft. A real history of Cleveland, enjoyed all of it. Try to do the guided tour of the mansions, very interesting.
Smaller museum but packed full of meaningful automobiles... interesting take on displays...easy to read information on many of the displays. Staff was very pleasant. The price is right. Plus there are a couple of airplanes on display. Really worth the visit.
Great collection of automobiles going back to the 19th century.

Easily the best place to visit while in the museum area of Cleveland, the Crawford Auto and Aviation Collection has an eclectic collection of mostly cars and a few small planes. What was confusing for us was this collection has a lot more reviews and photos on Google than the main museum (Western Reserve Historical Societythat this collection was part of. To visit this collection, you will need to purchase a ticket to the main museum that also grants you access to other interesting collections found in the museum. The place does remind us of a smaller version of the Henry Ford in Detroit. Initially, we were disappointed at the very few number of cars visible on the main floor, however, we soon discovered the treasure trove of vehicles found in the basement level. The collection is well curated with a descriptive sign for each vehicle displayed. When we visited during the off hours, there wasnt too many people, which really helped with getting great photos of the vehicles.
Loved the place but it is not easily accessible. We saw no button for opening and with a wheelchair it was hard to be independent on entering.
Had an all day work meeting here. Really cool place to visit.
A hidden gem in "Museum row". Love that they showcase the large role Cleveland played in the auto industry-over 100 and some different cars were manufactured here. Visit the website and take a tour. Great for a rainy day.
The Crawford Auto Museum was very interesting. They had a interactive worksheet at entrance that kept kids engaged. The auto exhibit and facts about Cleveland were very interesting. The Carousel from Euclid Beach was nostalgic. I loved the tour of the mansion and history lesson. Our entire family had an awesome time.
Lots of fun! The carousel was a big hit with the kids. We all enjoyed seeing all of the different types of vehicles! Enjoyable, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Very nice place for the day. There is a lot to see and do. My favorite thing was the carousel. It was fun and can ride it all day. There is alot for the family to do. Good place for everyone to go. I would recommend it for out of town people. Looking forward to go back. I am excited!
Staff is knowledgeable and helpful, but the museum its self has no organization there will be a a car from 1900 sitting next to something from the thirties with a dog viper next to that. It should start at one end with oldest example and go year by year to the other end with the newish dodge viper. Also if ur going here accept that you have to part in the history museums parking deck as the have no parking of their own.
It was a "boys day" out with my sons since the like cars and we were in town for Thanksgiving. There are about 100 cars mostly from the early years of cars. There are some older race cars too. Little light on aviation but still interesting. Cars and planes are in showroom condition.
Great cars and planes, kids will love it, they also have a working carousel originally from Euclid Beach Park.
Really well laid out! Lots of unique cars. A must visit for car people
Definitely a lot of good things here, whether youre just interested in cars/planes or in general Ohio history.
Amazing! This is a great place and well worth the cost.
If youve never been here, youre missing out. First Delorean ever made.....need I say more??
Our Company Christmas Party was at this Museum, this last Holiday. I had driven by the site many times as it is adjacent to the Wade Park VA Hospital and had no Idea it was holding a Wonderous Collection of Cars, going back to the Cars early beginnings. When I say Incredible, Wow. It also houses the Cleveland Indians Neon Indian from the old Municipal Stadium, Im sharing a picture of it as well. Take a Look.
Great collection of cars and planes. Only place where I saw an EV1 !
I visited the museum on "Euclid Beach Day" and it was awesome. I loved the popcorn balls, taffy, games, face painting for kids, and most of all, unlimited rides on the carousel. I hope they have more special days like this in the future.
Various makes of cars kept on display from the initial 1909 model. Few planes also on display. There is a electric car on display made by Baker Motor Vehicle Company in 1904!!!
Fun and interesting place to see. Lots of antique cars. It was worth the $10 admission.
