I thought I might get bored; boy was I wrong! Prepare to learn a thing or two about paper currency. The very kind and informative staff provided demonstrations and a craft as well. I liked the free self-made souvenir.

Loved making paper! Charlie the guide was wonderful in his description of currency paper. A great way to share Crane history and awareness of the company. An 1840s paper processing building repurposed as a hands on museum. 20 minutes to an hour of fun.

This was an interesting place. I had no idea this is where they print most of the paper for the u.s. currency. Wonderful museum and presentation of how they make cotton into paper. Kids enjoying making their own marbled type finished paper craft. Fun to see all of the different Whos Who, high ups and famous people that use their paper over the years from Presidents to dignitaries and military. If youre in the area check it out!

There was a very nice retired gentleman that gave the talk on the history of Crane. He knew the players thereby adding value to the historical recount of the facts. We were shown the actual American bills and told facts about their composition. I found this very interesting. If you are in the area I would definately recommend a visit to this place for a pleasant way to spend a few hours.

Very Informative! With a participative activity! I didnt know they made all the US currency paper, PLUS the paper for many other countries. Lots of technology goes into this paper to thwart counterfeiting. Glad we visited.

Theres way more science than we ever realized! A comprehensive exhibit indeed! A lesson in American enginuity: the original Crane shareholders can be proud of their tenacity in facing the wolves of Wall Street. Set back of the road in a non-descript brick building, this exhibit tells a local history and sets the Crane trademark in its rightful place over their first century. There are demos, wise foremen who give fascinating talks but bring all the wrinkles of pulp to a rather stunned audience. We are going back.

Very cool info if youre into either casual history or want to learn where USA paper money originates.Great hands on activities for kids too.You can do the entire display and presentation in less than 2 hours easily...so you wont need riot gear bringing little kids thru tweens, and just interesting enough to get the folders kids to put their g-dang phones down for the duration.Adults will get a little something from the museum too...good for all.Perfect activity on an overcast or rainy day too.You will never look at cash the same way again!Oh yeah...its free too!

Very interesting to learn about making the paper forvand security controls imbedded in our currency by this family owned company in its sixth generation. Paul Revere ordered the paper for the first US currency from Crane. Also interesting are the many samples of stationery and greeting cards ordered by our presidents and numerous celebrities. Lastly, take the opportunity to load up on the bargain stationery in the discount store.

This was a short field trip for us but the kids loved it. The gentleman working there was so good with our 6 and 3 yr olds. He kept them interested and didnt seemed bothered at all by them wanting to continuously make stamped paper prints. They have some pretty historical pieces of paper- invitations to the Statue of Liberty dedication from 1886, inaugurations, Queens anniversaries etc.....very interesting.
