Last week i visited Carignano Nature park ....it was one of the most beautiful gardens i had ever seen.... it was all very beautiful...... there were different types of 🌹🌺 .Best place for Children to enjoy swing...
For PPL who want to trek and feel connected to nature, this is a great place. Rs50 is entry fees. Perfect place to relax, meditate, take your pets and kids. They have kids zone, rest points, tree house. Very well maintained place
This is a beautiful reserve forest near Mashobra and Shimla nurturing oak and pine forest communities. My visit was quite short to determine all thr plant, bird and insect species making up the populations there, however during my short hike into the park, I managed to see enough interesting biodiversity to call this place an outstanding feat of the Himachal Forest Department. They also have a living fossil in the park called Ginkgo biloba (a 270 million years old plant that existed with dinosaurs tooin their medicinal plants section.Theres a curated playing area for children and a garden for people to hang out in the central zone of the forest. For those who like an authentic experience of a hike in a dense forest, they have two very long trails going around the base of the hill through very dense pine and oak forests.Overall, it was a great experience for me only for the littering that people are causing in the manicured section.
Really nice and beautiful place. Perfect for picnic and spending time with family and friends. Lots of greenery.
Park is well maintained, visiting there is fun. Close to nature. Moreover many couples seen for pre-wed shoot, could be a spot for upcoming duos.
Walk through this park in any season! Its magic. The nature trails are easy hikes for any age group. For the city weary people, it provides solace being in the silence and nature’s beauty with music of bird sounds! We were surrounded by mists as it is the rainy season. But the fresh air, washed and clean trees and plants and the fragrance of pine trees is priceless.Do visit this lovely park !
An enjoyable experience to see apples hanging from the trees. However, it seems the apples u see on the trees are not the ones that they sell!

Great park, also fun place for children. A peaceful place to seat and relax.
Been around for ages... Good place to bring young kids... Have a picnic... Full of tourists during the season... As a local i dont find anything attractive about it in terms of a reason to visit.
Nothing special about this park. There is a small children play area with swings. You can spend a couple of hours here away from the city. There is an entry ticket of Rs. 50 each.
Good place for picnics and small fun trips.
One of the best place for nurture loverAnd peaceful place
Good place for family picnic. You need to bring your own food as there is no eating joints here.
This is an isolated botanical park with a short stretch of pathway facilitating the visitors to explore different trees and plants with botanical names. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
Best place to have fun with friends and even with family. You will surely get cool and calm environment with a day full of enjoyment😎
Must go, if you are in shimla.Very well maintained and Kids will love and enjoy the nature trails here. You should be able to cover the park in an hour and can stay longer for nature photography.Do take water and food , as there are no canteen facilities inside.
A bit overrated as compared to the quality of place. Entry fee was a bit high. Floweres were not properly maintained. No tulips were available in april. Inside, no proper signages were available . There were bonfire places but no proper arrangements for that.
Good nature park, but dont bring in small kids, you may need to carry them. The place has elevation of at least 100 mts.
Good place. the route to this place is narrow. The ticket is a bit pricy considering the place. You can see max 15-20 tulips in total if you visit at the right time of April-May. I visited on 8th April 2022. I saw around 10-15 tulip flowers in total. You can collect pine fruits here for free.
Great pit spot to explore and that too if u are with kid. Its a very huge nature park. The best vie was Tulip garden which inside the park. Must visit
👎 Very disappointing...👎Looooooong 800 mtrs stretch of steep hill road ..Nothing special to see..If u are not very keen to walk then please skip this...otherwise good place to enjoy nature..
This beautiful and scenic park is situated about 3 km from Mashobra. The place is surrounded with pine trees and the two walking tracks are amazing. If you need to spend some quiet time away from the hustle bustle of the city place, then this is definitely worth a visit.
Superb unexplored place with limited no. of visitors. Close to nature, you can hear all natural sounds and birds chirping are awesome stress busters.
The park is very huge..will suggest you to dont go on education trail as it is not maintained properly. There is a tree house inside the park. The entry fees is INR 50/- per pax. There are multiple stops where you can click photos or take a rest. The view from the top is very good.
Craignano Nature Park, about half an hour away from Shimla has everything to make a hill holiday unforgettable. Whistling woods, an inviting treehouse, a magical lake, flower-filled green meadows, undiscovered tracks and an eco-friendly play area for kids. And tranquillity. Entry ticket is 50 rupees per head only.
The nature park is beautifully surrounded by colorful flowers.. good for nature lover people and for those who are in search of peace and want to spend time alone.. but there is one problem that a person will not get anything to eat inside this garden.. so there should some restaurant or eating stalls inside..
Good place to be in nature. Ample parking space, 50 rs entry fee, but not managed properly as park is not very well maintained. Dirty wash room, no stalls etc to buy snacks etc. Carry your own drinking water. Park is big with rides for kids, you need to climb on top and you see good view and flowers. Over, nice place where u can carry your own food to have picnic and fun time.
Craignano Nature Park is a beautiful and secluded park from the hustle and bustle of the city. Its located in Mashobra. It is easily reachable but I would suggest you to use maps for direction as its situated inside the forest. You have to take a ticket before entering the park. The park is a direct upward hike of half an hour and a car is also easily available for aged people who want to go to the top garden. The park consists of many garden and trails in between such as Academic Trail, Tulip Garden, Top Garden etc. It also has a tree house which is beautifully built. It also has many benches inside on little intervals for tourists to sit as its an upward hike. Also please carry a water bottle with you and as eatables are allowed you can carry your own food and have a mini picnic too. Its a great experience to enjoy nature. Its definitely a must visit while visiting Shimla.
Nice nature park at very good location. The nature park is well maintained and you feel in the heaven while roaming inside the park. The place has children park, washrooms and greenery with seasonal flowers. It also provides bonfire at selected location. There is a tree house made inside the park. There is also a small pond inside the park which have colorful fishes.
Craignano Nature Park (at 7700 ft), an eco-friendly park is a very good place to sit & relax or to do slow or brisk walk in the Nature Park. The whistling woods, an inviting treehouse to climb, a calm lake with statue, flower-filled green meadows, walking and academic trails and an eco-friendly play area for kids are the attractions in the Nature Park. Full of tranquility, the park is full of pines, oak trees & seasonal flowers. The park is in Mashobra, about half an hour away from Shimla on Naldehra road. Entry ticket for adults is Rupees 50/- per person. Kids are free to go inside. One can have hundreds of pictures to click inside.
Amazing for nature lovers. Its a big well maintained park with rides for kids. Parking is free, entry to the park is 50 rupees for an adult. Washrooms are there in the rides area.
Craignano Nature Park is located in Mashobra and its secret of Shimla, 13km away from Shimla bus stand. They charge 50 Rs for adult and childrens are free. The park is very good for children, the main attraction of this that greenery, peace, Pine tree, flavours and the children special tree house. CraigNano Nature Park is a valley of pine & oak forests and flowers like hyacinths, daffodils, celandine and roses. There are a lot of statue and the Buddha statue is main. You can go there with your family on a picnic and feel relax.
Nice place to spend leisure time. Peaceful and woods all around. Nice artificial work as well (still in progress). Sitting on top near Buddhas statue is special experience. A small tree house and children park is also there.
This place is good. Natural beauty is nice. But nothing more to do in this. 50 rupees entry fee per person. Tree house looks good but its stairs are not in good condition. Over all nice place.
Between Naldehra & Mashobra goes up a small motorable road towards this heart warming, soul satisfying Nature Park. The approach is a small steep hill Road so an expert driver is required especially as you have to go back & forth at about 2 turning points. Wouldnt recommend to go on a Snowy day as the route would be blocked. But once you reach the Park, its pure ecstasy you would experience. Theres an entry fee for the park, Rs.100/- per person but thats nothing compared to the wonderful sights you get, which is a feast for the eyes. The air here is very fresh. There are many mountain trails👣👣 to be explored. Be careful to go on the official recognized trails only & do not venture to make your own pathways as you could easily get lost. On the entrance there is a notice that you can hire a officially recognised Guide but on the particular day we went, no guides were available.Take some munching/snacks/food with you & spend a few hours soaking in pure nature air and trekking the various mountain trails. Enjoy the pics
One of the best nature park ever visited. Calm peaceful and serene., you can hear the birds chirping, the butterflies dancing and the wonderful architecture of tree houses built in sync without disturbing the nature blends perfectly with the place. It was really a great experience. PEACE.
This place is 1 min away from Mashobora, park total area is 500m, you have to buy tickets 50 rupees each to enter this park, you can only find some pretty flowers nothing much.50 rupees is too high for this park nothing new can be seen here.
I loved the natures beauty of this place and the around of it. A well maintained research center own by govt, the only thing which it lags a guided tour. They charge you a very nominal fee for entry and if you are a nature loving person, you will totally finds it worth of every penny.Plucking of fruits and flowers are strictly prohibted and there is a penalty if you caught.Govt should consider a guided tour to attract more visitors.
