Craic Irish Pub in Heredia

Nice place, what you imagine when you think of an Irish bar. The beer selection is good, local beer on tap and awesome bar food.

Nice pub, a great variety of craft beer and delicious food, good vibe, very good service and its spacious, with space indoors and out doors.

Super tasty food. I got a veggie burger for my son (whos iffy on veggie burgersand he ate most of it before he was too full to continue. I got a portabello burger Italian style and it was absolutely delicious.The only drawback was having to order delivery from two doors down the street. I was stuck in my hotel with a hangry six year old who Craic patrons did nothing to deserve being subjected to. On UberEats, Craic wouldnt let me select to Pick Up my order which I could have at least managed. So instead I had to flag down the delivery driver as he began to start his motorbike, to have him walk down the street and hand off my food.

Mozzarella Sticks are a must

One of the better Irish pubs Ive been too on my travels. They didnt have any cider, which was odd, but we tried the fruit beer (see the photoand it was excellent - essentially a berry cider but slightly less sweet. I also had a Vege Carribbean burger (the bean one - they have 3 Vege options!which was very good. The service was friendly and they spoke good English, which spared them my very limited Spanish!We tried to go back the next night to watch Costa Rica Vs the US world cup qualifier (which was a big deal for Costa Rican football fansand inexplicably it was shut. Hard to fathom given it was open the night before - a Tuesday.

Nice, fun pub in San Jose. Food is good, nice beer selection, nothing fancy as a pub. Have been coming for years and never get disappointed

Its (when I wentclublike. I wasnt cool enough to get in :/ I ate outside and had good beer. Good service kept us happy. I dont know what was Irish about it (again, not cool enough to get inside).

Nice place, good variety of beers and hamburgers, the breadsticks cheese and its sause, OMG so delicious.Unfortunately the hamburger wasnt really good, the meet loaf, was so dry and the bread as well, without good tasty, but in general terms good place 👌🏻

Decent range of beers, decent food. Fairly busy but music far too loud to hold a civil conversation. Service was quite slow.

Classic Pub like place. Good national and international selection of beers both crafted and comercial. Offers sports bar like food which is good enough. Prices are a bit high. There is no parking in site so you either park on the street or look for a near by parking lot.

It is a good place, however if there is a event, you spend a lot time to enter, because the place is not big and maybe you dont find a table.

The food is awesome, they have a wide variety of imported beers. General opinion, a little pricy but totally worth it. You will enjoy to have a burger and beer while listening to rock music.

We came in for St. Patrick’s Day and even though the place was absolutely packed they were still extremely efficient at serving everyone and keeping the place clean! We ordered some chips for a snack with our beers and they were somehow able to find us in the thick crowd and served us hot, filling potato wedges with a delicious curry ketchup. We saw a number of burgers come out of the kitchen that looked incredible. Will have to come back and try one!

Fairly large bar with outdoor area (overlooking the road). Lots of taps so plenty of beer choices. And even more in the fridges. Lost a star as they don’t serve wine (they do have some spirits).

Excellent beer menu, decent pub grub, good music and a more mature setting for an evening out.

Craig has become a go to place in Costa Rica for if you want a good pub to have some drinks with friends. I have 2 major complains though. 1the service is not the best, even if you have a table, the service can became super slow more if the place is packed with people. 2parking can be a headache sin e the dont offer packing lots, you have to park on the street, and usually there are no spots left near the place.

One of the best pubs in San José. Great music, tasty food and big dishes at a reasonable price and one of the best selections of imported and local beers! Staff is great!

Good beer selection, decent food, they do not offer "chiliguaro", instead they have one of their own which is disgusting. Place is overrated. There are better options out there.

Maybe the first place I would recommend to a tourist looking for a pub with local and foreign beers. The place is usually crowded, so its better to arrive sometime between 7 and 9 PM to get a good spot.
