Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Kannapolis

Good food and excellent service but no omelettes - everything has potatoes & bread:(

Ordered the Kickin ranch chicken. However, after getting out to my car and checking the order it was just the regular chicken. I went back in and they gave me the seasoning and sauce to put on the chicken in cups. The seasoning and sauce in the cups was not nearly enough to cover box chicken meals.

Food and service were great. We had a larger party, didnt have long of a wait and they got all orders correct.

Have always loved Cracker Barrel but the last few times havent been very good. Just like everywhere else service is slow and food was not as good as it used to be. Not as good quality.

Im not a fan of any Cracker Barrel but my husband LOVES the place. I ordered the Dinner sampler because I didnt know what I wanted and he got the breakfast sampler. It was extremely busy which is to be expected so slower service was also expected. Our server was incredibly friendly and accommodating.The food, however, was left lacking. Lacking flavor of any kind to be honest. You can kind of expect a southern type restaurant known for its chicken and dumplings to be awesome but the ones I got were anything but. The only flavor was bland if bland was a flavor. I hate to say it but the only thing I got that was any good was the ice water with lemon.Also, I have multiple sclerosis and need a walker sometimes. The bathroom is NOT handicapped friendly. The handicapped stall was great but the outer entrance bathroom door itself is nearly impossible to open with any kind of handicapped equipment.Then as we were leaving a worker, who was also handicapped, parked her car outside the space and onto the ramp blocking any way for anyone to pass using a wheelchair, scooter or walker because only those who could walk unaided could pass only through the very small gap or go around her vehicle.

My cousin, his wife, & their granddaughter took me out for supper in Concord. She got a vegetable plate. The grandchild got a bowl of cereal, & He and I got the meatloaf. The food was hot, it came out in a timely fashion and the waitress was super nice. They were out of hashbrown casserole, but everything else we wanted they had. I stopped by the bargain corner (60% offand got some candy!

How is it possible you can run out of hash browns at 10 in the morning on a Sunday? Then turn around and run out of bacon? Makes absolutely no sense. The waitress was wonderful. Cracker Barrel kitchen pantry slacking.

I eat here a good bit and the food is usually really good. the only complaint I really have is sometimes they seem to be more stingy with the amount of food they give you.

Service was great as always however the food was surprisingly disappointing. The steak that was ordered with both meals was extremely tough. Could barely cut through it and was unable to be eaten.

Went there for daughters birthday and was very poor service manager put new waitresses serving us that did the best she could but orders were wrong and one person order missed then manager did not even care and didnt even say sorry for it could of put waitress that work there a little bit since we had 12 people

The food was wonderful, the staff is so nice, and friendly my favorite place to eat

Food was good-ish but the service was seriously lacking. Our waitress had no problem keeping the table of a single man in whatever he needed. Didnt refill our drinks, she walked past us multiple times while we waited on requested items. We almost got up n left. It was not busy at all. Very empty in fact. We still tipped her tho.Now the food..We ordered the lunch special of a chicken salad and a baked potato. This locations potatoes are always under cooked. It also no longer had the salt baked on :(The salad was great but we had to wait 10 mins for the extra salad dressing..seriously!I do love this location but the service really ruined the lunch my Mama invited me to. Nobody should have to apologize for inviting someone to lunch because of bad service.

We have visited for years and have never had complaints regarding staff or cleanliness.Food is exactly what you would expect from Cracker Barrel.

Atmosphere was nice but the scrambled eggs were dry very over cooked, we also ordered a half & half (tea mixed with lemonade they forgot to add the lemonade so the waitress came back with lemonade and told us to mix it ourselves.

The service was good but the food was awful. The gravy tasted like smoke and the chicken was undercooked. I sent my food back and the server was nothing but gracious

My order was wrong (ordered chicken received beefand the food was ice cold!! No gravy on the meat or potatoes. Tried calling and talking to manager but was just put on a endless hold.

This Cracker Barrel is disgusting! My collard greens head is zero seasoning and flavor and tasted like soup water, my fried chicken was salty, and the mashed potatoes had zero flavor. The worst part of it all is that the beignets are not even cooked thoroughly !!! Raw dough inside!! What a waste of money!!

.We absolutely love Cracker Barrel. Their food is scrumptious. We would really love for them to bring back cornmeal breaded catfish as its out of this world.

Our food was great and the server was also. We didnt wait long for our so that was a plus also.

I eat @ the Cracker Barrel in Kannapolis, NC often. The food is always good, the staff is friendly and attentive. Twice I’ve had the pleasure of having Jordan as my waitress!! Jordan is so attentive and is the BEST EVER, I think she can read minds 😎 She’s a NATURAL, because you can’t train someone to operate at this level of professionalism!! If you stop by ask for “Jordan” she’s AWESOME!!!

Waited about 45 minutes for curbside pickup and it never came out. Called about 5 times and watched them look at the phone and walk away. When I went in the lady up front had the worst attitude when I said I had an online order.

I always get more food than I expected, and its great and delicious. They do scrambled eggs with different kind of cheese. No matter the meal I order, if eggs are in it, I get them with cheese like this.Their grits are great! I used to appreciate having a place to order these when I was living in New York state.Their biscuits are good, and they come with a gravy that adds something extra to the experience.My favorite way to order a meal by myself is get either the country boy or grandpas country fried breakfast and have food for 2 or 3 meals total. Im a light ish eater, and if I add my own veggies at home, it means 3 meals easy. You get so many sides with the "all the fixins."It kind of blows me away when I see their menu. They offer so many things. You can have steak, fish, waffles, pancakes, eggs, whatever. Ive never chosen something new and been disappointed, but I keep coming back to those two breakfast samplers.

Been sitting for a while, the waitress. Brought our coffee and i kindly requested for creamer and she said okay but then leaves and returns to take someone else’s order. Like really?

Great food and service. Food came quick and it was hot. Waitress keep the drinks full, couldnt ask for better service.

Food tasted good but the potatoes were cold. French toast was cool and hard to cut, eggs were cold.

Food was great and service was on top of it, always had a full drink and had a few laughs with the server as it was a busy day.

Excellent server staff and the food was good as usual. We ordered the Mommas French Toast which is a consistent winner for our family. The reason I gave three stars is we waited an hour from the time we ordered to the time our food was delivered and we were just a party of two with a child that didnt order anything. Really unfortunate to have that long of a wait and also unusual of most Cracker Barrels. The one local to me often has long wait times to be seated but once seated the service is fast.

Awesome server. Food came pretty fast. If youre starving get the grandpa breakfast huge amount of food.

Food was decent, however service was aweful. Food came out after about 20 minutes, werent given silverware or napkins and our server Nora was too busy flirting with a man at another table to check in with us. I eventually got up and grabbed our own silverware and some napkins. Cups ran empty and we finished our food, still our server was pouring herself into one table, she had not checked in on us, we were being ignored. By the end of the meal we were frustrated and ready to leave yet still had to wait on our check. Cracker barrell used to be a favorite of mine but this was a sad display of customer service. Wont be back.

I ordered fried pork chops. They had a very thick batter with some seasoning I cant place. After I scraped off the batter and equally gravy, they were palatable, but only just. Crackers Barrel bills itself as "home cooking." I come from a LONG line of country home cooks, and none of us would ever even consider putting those things on a plate. Bleh!

My mom just had hip surgery so we ordered online for take out. The service was quick and the food was still hot and delicious! I also went inside to get a few things from the shop while I waited and the lady at the register was so nice.

Awesome down-home cooking for a reasonable price. Good service. The old time/rare/uncommon candy in the store is amazing... good root beer, cane sugar soda, and cream sodas

Went in for breakfast. Ended up ordering the Breakfast sampler. Was delicious. Then went back to the store. They always have cute stuff but you have to walk in and out thru it and that’s how they get you hah! Plenty of odds and ends for all tastes. Every visit is different but I don’t get to go too often. Will always go back!

After morning Graduation Brunch. Congratulations HFB 👏 🎉 Pancakes 🥞 always . I ordered BLT. It came on sourdough toasted bun. I will definitely order again. New waitress. She was busy and attentive.

Theyre starting to use Grandmas china. Dont care for them serving alcohol. I get theyre trying to keep up with the times but it ruins the nostalgia for me. Grandma never would let alcohol in the house. Its a shame they do now.emi is smaller and no specials on Monday or Tuesday.

The service was slow. Wanted jelly took 10 minutes to get. Food was brought to table Luke warm or cold. One in our party didnt even eat theirs due to being cold and no taste to it.In 20 minutes waitress checked on drinks 1 time. Wasnt busy nor a lot of people.Eaten at numerous Cracker Barrels and this one was the absolute worse!!!☹☹WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS ONE. WILL REPORT TO REGIONAL OFFICE!!!

We love cracker barrel and visit many in many states...this is the worse service we have EVER RECEIVED!!! We want to THANK "QUE" YOU ARE AWESOME !!!! We are not trying to be disrespectful..people should be very careful of what they acuse others of...and we were not even going to speak to management....they came to us....people are very cruel. But we will tell you the management was OUTSTANDING AND TOOK WONDERFUL CARE OF US...THANK YOU SO SO MUCH COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED!!!! THANK YOU to all the who truly care of us!!!

Took forever to get our food. At least over an hour and we waited to be seated less time than that. We were a party of 2 and watched several tables with larger parties come in after us, receive their food, eat and leave while we still hadnt gotten anything. We had very basic orders. The excuse we received was "The kitchen is behind" but seeing that people were getting their food after us left that hard to believe. When our food finally came, some of the food was hot, room temp, and some was cold. We were feeling like Goldie Locks trying to eat.

I think I love to shop as much as I love to Eat at Cracker Barrels! This one was nice & clean. The food was great as always, Mom (*who is expertsaid they had the best Gravy of any weve eaten at! Thats a huge compliment!

I always enjoy my food here but what impressed me about my last visit was the general manager. In the short time I was there, I saw him on the floor bussing tables and helping an older customer that didnt bring her walker. Thats what awesome leadership looks like. Good managers means a good place to do business.

Coming back here for something other than breakfast I have to remove my 5 stars everything that I ordered was really nasty the fish was bland no seasoning at all and tasted old.The okra I got was also cold by the time it came out so it lost its flavor as for the fruit some of it was old as well I dont think I will ever come here for anything other than breakfast.

Any vegetarians out there who still enjoy an occasional egg breakfast steer clear of all Cracker Barrel restaurants. They refuse to substitute any and all meat products. They dont even adjust the price. Nor do they have any breakfast meals that do not include meat. Management informed us that it is due to their software system. It simply does not provide them those options. I would think a huge chain would be able to have control over the software system that they have spent thousands of dollars on.I think it is a poor excuse. I doubt Ill eat at this chain again. Why couldnt I order a Create Your Own meal? Its just sad because they make great food and have warm & friendly servers and fun shopping. Panera it is!

Cracker Barrel is always good no matter what location you visit. I tried the Bacon, egg & hash brown casserole scramble. It was delicious!

Worst Cracker Barrel experience ever. Our waitress was inattentive, slow, and lacked personality. Our food came out cold, all of it, not one item was warm. Pintos not only were cold but also burned/dry. Highly disappointing all the way around.

The food was great save for the corn bread muffins which were unusually bad. The waitress was fast, friendly and very attentive. The place has fairly busy, but no long lines, and only had to wait 15-20 to get a table. Would highly recommend to my family and friends.

This Cracker Barrel is pretty good, and although they said a 60 minute wait, we only waited 20, which was awesome.However, come to find out they were out of the fried turkey already (12pm), the broccoli casserole was room temperature, and they ran out of clean coffee cups and small plates towards dessert- strange?

I love coming here especially for the pancakes. This is the only place that can fix my pancakes like I do at home. Awesome service here as well!

Cracker Barrel coming in clutch with books, beer, and biscuits. Excited to add these to my collection! Our waitress was new and super sweet. She did an amazing job even though they were getting ready to close. The food was fresh and delicious as always.
