Pirate-themed joint featuring an all-you-can-eat buffet & a la carte steak & seafood options.
Omg!!!!!! This place 2nd time in and it’s just amazing!!! Our server was the best! Made sure we were happy! The seafood was amazing, the desert is my fave!! Always good and worth it
The buffet bar was fabulous. They covered all the bases from prime rib, to oysters, to shrimp and anything else you can imagine. We enjoyed it very much.
First time dining here. Beautiful, bright restaurant with a laid back atmosphere. Our server was so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The staff was constantly tending to the different bars. Really impressed with their cleaning and sanitizing routine. Definitely the place for all you can eat crab legs. You definitely wont leave hungry!
This place is amazing the crab legs are out of this world. The shrimp are divine and the fried chicken. It’s like your grandmother made it at home. I will definitely be back. Our waitress Mona is amazing. She’s from Jamaica and has a wonderful accent.
Best seafood buffet ever!! Juicy prime rib, perfectly steamed snow crab legs, fresh salad bar, savory sweets for dessert, and quick drinks from the bar. Our server was fast, friendly, and attentive. Definitely treat yourself to Crabby Georges and your tastebuds will thank you!
This establishment was very clean and neat, the server Clair was very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere felt warm and relaxing. I enjoyed the fresh crab legs, and even had the opportunity to try new foods, the frog legs were amazing. Definitely will be back.
great staff, fresh food with a wide variety, easy to find on gps, different music genres played, clean buffet/tables etc, quick service and family friendly atmosphere but they do offer alcoholic bevys! will be returning :)
I rate this just below Captain Benjamins which cant be beaten for atmosphere and selection. Plenty of variety here and everything I got was delicious.
These places have dramatically changed over the past few years. No sea scallops, no fan tail shrimp! More seafood items are needed! Not pizza, not Mac and cheese! I decided to eat crab legs and that was it! The crab legs were fantastic! Guys please remember this is supposed to be a sea food buffet and not a Golden Corral! 👎👎👎👎👎
Absolutely delicious and great variety. Rick, our server, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Best seafood buffet in Myrtle Beach.
Absolutely hands down the best sea food buffet in Myrtle Beach. The food was hot fresh and just amazing. I do have to admit that our server Bobby made the experience a big huge jar of awesome sauce. He did a great job of making sure our drinks were always full our food was nice and hot and even brought out a treasure chest full of little toys for my 3 year old who went out of her mind. I also noticed that not one other employee was just standing around on their phones or talking amongst each other. They all had tasks to make sure everything was clean and taken care of. So yea, Thank you Bobby for the wonderful service and thank you to all the other employees who made this place somewhere I will definitely be coming back too.
Great food and worth the price! Came for the crab legs and I was not disappointed. Large variety of food to choose from. Our waiter Rick was great!
Absolutely the best service and amazing food. Thank you for all you do to make this experience 5/5 stars. From our waiter Rick and everyone who works here, are all super friendly
The food tasted great and was always well stocked. My only complaint is that every blue crab I attempted to eat was undercooked! You could tell by seeing the opaqueness on the bottom they werent done. Then once opened that was confirmed. I tried 8 different ones they were from 2 different batches. They were all undercooked. I LOVE blue crabs so this was a big deal for me as I was so excited to see them on the buffet. The crab legs did not disappoint one bit. Overall, I still had a great experience and my waitress was the best. Sorry I cant remember her name but she had braids pulled in a ponytail and wore glasses.
You can order from the menu or do the buffet. I buffet’ed shrimp and crab legs. Ate my moneys worth! The hostess is nice and helpful. Waitress was nice, knowledgeable, and attentive. We enjoyed the regular/seasoned boiled crab legs and peeled/unpeeled shrimp cold and hot. My hunny had a bit of everything fried and of course he hit the dessert bar. We both agree if you want all you can eat crab legs or shrimp this is the place to go. Anything else fried food, dessert, country food not the place to go. The salad/cold bar was nice and fresh. Only negative was when the manager came in (she had a dif colored shirt onthe tone of the employees changed. She came in asking all the customers “is your server checking on you”? Why not ‘how is everything’. Just a lil developmental opportunity.
Grabbing lunch on the way out of town. Great place to eat will come back again. Way better than Pirates table!
My server was Rick and he was amazing, definitely was attentive and always checking on us which is always a plus when eating at a buffet. The food was good other then the steak not being cooked right. All day crab legs which is amazing. It was 20$ for kids and 50 for adults. But was worth it. Would come again
So before anyone gets scared off from the $49.00 per person. If you are hungry I absolutely assure you that you will get your moneys worth. The folks behind the buffet who are restocking and cooking to your needs were fabulous.. Im a huge steak lover and my other favorite is salmon.. If you have food allergies or sensitivity like myself, youd normally steer clear of a buffet. Prior to going to Myrtle Beach I had contacted Crabby Georges to ask questions about how the steaks were cooked and so on. The steaks are NOT cooked in butter (dairyand the salmon unfortunately that is at the buffet is.. thats not a problem because you can see in one of the pictures Ive posted,They will cook your steak or salmon exactly how you prefer. I love places like this that take your food allergies seriously. Crabby Georges gets 5 stars for great food and wonderful service
I was extremely pleased with my experience here. My husband and I stopped here for lunch before leaving Myrtle Beach and it was well worth the money. The amount of crab that i ate wouldve cost well over $350, let alone what we ate together. So getting it and drinks for only $120 was a big success! The waitress, Mona, was also very attentive! Everything, location of bathrooms, variety of options, workings of environment, and price was all disclosed upfront. At no point were our drinks empty. There was never a buildup of plates at our table either. My husband truly enjoyed the clam chowder and I feasted on the fried shrimp! Honestly, the only thing that couldve reduced a star is the sides. The Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were typical buffet quality, not great but not inedible. Either way, Id happily come back for my fill of crab again!
Great service from our server Rick. Food was very good and plenty of it. We will be back next beach trip.
Visited this place with my friends. Customer service was superb. The ambiance was very nice. The attendant was very pleasant and helped out in choosing the dishes from the buffet for us to eat. The food was magnificent. Lots of options ranging from crab legs, steak, shrimp, oysters, etc. The flavor was awesome and everything tasted great. I have a pet peeve about undercooked and poorly prepared food and Im elated to say that the dishes we got were well cleaned and very well seasoned. I would definitely recommend for date nights or even just social outings. Definitely value for your money and Ill be revisiting again.P.S. my favourite dish for the night was the crab legs.
Great buffet option when in Myrtle Beach. Reasonably priced for AYCE with crab legs. Crab legs are large and come out of the shell easy. Will be returning next time were in Myrtle Beach!
Our server Rick was amazing. He kept our drinks full and king crab legs coming !! This is by far the best buffet we have had in Mrtyle Beach. Everything was fresh.
Absolutely loved the food and service! The waiter we had named Nazar was top notch. He did a great job letting us know everything to the end!
Its a buffet what else to expect, except its a reasonably good buffet and priced for a reason.Crab legs didnt make you wait long for refilling the station, they were great in size didnt disappoint. Frog legs, calamari sticks, fried oysters, and other fried food were good.Dessert bar cakes and pies were delicious.Steak was meh buffet steak. The waitress we had was amazing she was polite and attentive keeping our table clean. Wish I could remember her name but she did a wonderful job.
TRUST THIS REVIEW!All of those wonderful reviews youre reading telling you how great this place is, how its "expensive but worth it", and especially the ones telling you what great service they got from so-and-so waiter/waitress. Those are bogus! They have to be written by the owner or the employees themselves. Theres no way on earth those reviews are legit. NO WAY!!!This place is janky. From the decor to the overall atmosphere, from the food to the service, EVERYTHING about this place is sub-par at best. The food is mediocre. The service is mediocre. The price..... UNREASONABLE!!!Now please dont dismiss this review as "one guy had one bad experience...." No, I wanted to love this place. My daughter and I tried really hard to like something about it. My wife and son, who are not seafood lovers at all, and only went to please us, tried SO HARD to like it. Ultimately we were all VERY disappointed.Please. PLEASE save your time and money and take your family somewhere else. This was the first time Ive been able to talk the family into a seafood buffet and I so regret this choice! I cant recommended another place because I havent been to any others in over a decade. But this place.... Just dont. Youll regret it.
In all honesty, there is nowhere else I’d rather have eaten. The dining area was very nice and the food was extremely delicious. The food is also displayed beautifully on the buffet and cooked to perfection. The whole family enjoyed. Then you have the servers. Ours in particularly (Rickdone his job very well. Much thanks to the restaurant staff for a good lunch and dining experience.
We had dinner here and honestly it was pretty good. The crab legs were nice and warm and everything looked clean. I judge a restaurant by their bathrooms and they were actually pretty clean as well.. Our server was nice and the ambience was also nice. I always love when you walk in and the hostesses are welcoming and smiling which they all were.. We would eat here again for sure
This is my fiancé and I first time being at Crabby George’s. We love seafood! We came during dinner, I had a reservation at 7 that I booked online on the official website. When we walked through the door, we were greeted by two employees, I was informed they don’t do reservations after 5 (pro tip). The young lady still was able to have my fiancé and I seated, then we met our waiter Petar. Petar has a cool accent lol he was nice, helpful, and broke down all the tables that hold the food and where we can find them.Overall we had a good experience here, it’s clean, not too loud I like the ship decor od the place, and the music isn’t that bad.
Great crab legs! We come here often and have always had a positive experience. Food was hot, servers nice & helpful. Try the cheesecake, excellent.
A pleasant surprise! Weve been going to seafood buffets for years and usually the food besides the seafood is mediocre at best but not the case here! Everything we tried was fresh and tasty! Our waitress was friendly and attentive and we only waited about 5 minutes to sit down at 6pm on a Tuesday. Price is high, but comprable to other places like this in the area, and the food is so much better. Very pleased with this experience, highly recommend.
Wow! From the hostess to our waitress Callie, this was more than lunch, this was an experience! Our hostess was super friendly. Our waitress never let our glasses go empty. She made sure we had everything we needed to dive into those endless crab legs. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. The staff were constantly sweeping, cleaning the restrooms, wiping the windows and the walls. In addition to well steamed crab legs, the food was better than another buffet we ate at the previous day. The food had great flavor and there were plenty of options. We were thoroughly impressed!
AMAZING! Great Crab legs my family of 4 ate about 20 clusters of Crab legs. The buffet price was very reasonable 50 for adults and 20 for kids. The Catfish was very good and the hush puppies were a big hit as well. If you like seafood you should check this place out. You won’t be disappointed.
Place is the bomb! So good! We had 12 plates of crab legs so 2 people and MY GOD! Those were the best I’ve ever had. You have to come here if your want seafood! Server was one of the best I’ve ever had! Never left a drink empty and always took our unwanted plates just on time!
Let me share my experience with you helping you to make your decision where to eat or even if you want to eat at a buffet!First, if you think you can eat over $46 worth of food, think again. Second, if you think the price is too high given the cost of fuel and everything else skyrocketed, youre crazy. In short the price is reasonable since all the buffets in town are at similar pricing. You know your own stomach capacity. If you want to pay less, go before 3:00 p.m. Find a coupon book for $6 discount for each adult, good for the entire party. With coupon, youre paying $40 per person. It is a very clean, beautiful restaurant. The inside atmosphere is pleasant reflecting Marine creatures. The wait staff are extremely friendly and customer oriented. At some point in time, several of the wait staff were teaching guests how to eat crab legs using the proper tools! The bathroom cleanliness was average given the fact that there were papers litters of papers littering. Soap dispensers were full. Toilet stalls were clean.Food quality is average. We had four people in the parties and NO one identified the crab legs as being their favorites. Among the favorites were, Cold items-shrimp and oyster, warm items prime rib, steak, and fried shrimp. The buffet items are well stocked. The fried items some of them are overcooked.Attention: The crab legs in general were overcooked. Properly cooked crab legs are easily cracked when bent. Overcooked crab legs are pliable, not cracking and in fact has to be cut with a tool. The stone crab were not fresh, previously frozen. Possibly frostbite. I have eaten tons of stone crab since Im a Floridian and all fresh stone crab meat are in chunks, not like grated cheese. The meat flaked off due to Long freezer burns or possibly overcooked again like the snow crab legs.Overall, did we have a pleasant experience at this restaurant? Yes we did because we were together. Did we enjoy the food? Yes we did even with the average quality of the flavor and food items. Did we pay too much? No because the merchant has to pay for these items, their rent and employees.Dont massacre them. As I have indicated to my wait staff to inform the manager, they need to do a better job with their snow crab legs. The first time when I complaint about the snow crab legs being overcooked, the wait staff went to the kitchen and brought me, according to them, freshly cooked crab legs. Unfortunately, at the same time, a fresh new batch of crab legs came out in to the buffet line. I truly believe the kitchen crew made the same batch of crab legs and my wait staff brought out a plate indicated that it was specially made for me. Anyway, they try to please the guest, however, theyre still not doing a good job in cooking the crab legs. It was still overcooked and difficult to eat! Overcooked crab legs tasted more like dry cardboard or rubber band! That is why I give them a 2-star for the food items.Again, if the manager or owner wants to talk to me more about it, I am here. No one other than my wait staff, took my comments seriously at the time of dining. Better still, as owner try the food yourself and try somewhere else ...non- buffet, so you may improve your cooking process in order to improve and remain competitive!
Excellent All you can eat buffet place to check out. Belle and Nikki both greeted us with smiles when we first walked in. I mainly went for the frog legs as I Googled where to get frog legs, they were Excellent, I might add. The crab legs were seasoned well. The. Asparagus were tender with a slight crunchiness to it, the way I like them.So many choices. I will definitely come back when visitingMyrtle Beach.Shout out to our waitress Clair (From Jamaicawho was so attentive and very customer friendly. A beautiful smile and personality.Be sure to check the place out.
Food was delicious and staff was friendly. Staff does come by on regular intervals to clear plates that are not being used. Crab legs were excellent and all you can eat! When we went the price was $49.99 for adults (13+and children (I think 2 to 12??is $19.99. We would definitely go back.
Great food! Great service! Bobby was excellent and very attentive to our table! Will definitely return when in town
They have a good variety of food. The waitress helped keep the table cleaned and drinks refilled. I thought they had a menu as well as the buffet but noone asked if we wanted that. I love how they put spice on the crawfish, but they let them sit in water which makes them not quite as good as they could be.
The food was great and the employees were very nice. We will be back.
Came here over the weekend with my family & we had an awesome time. Their establishment is clean and tastefully decorated. The food was just ok, the crab legs were perfectly executed and the desserts were good. Our server was Bobby and he was the absolute best and the reason I give this place 5 stars (or a review at all bc I don’t do reviews). Our drinks were kept full, our table was kept clean and he made sure we had everything we needed at all times. I’ve been to many restaurants in my day and he by far has been the best server I’ve ever had (mind you I’m needy and picky so for me to say that is a big deal). Great job Bobby this company should feel proud to have you! Will be back to see you, Bobby! (Took more pictures, but they all have the family in them and rather not use those).
Great selection. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff.I had a little bit of everything.Calamari, fish, muscles, oysters, clam, crab legs, prime rib, and much more!Id go back.
Great buffet! Lots to chose from. Shrimp so many ways! Hubby thought the ribs were very tender. Food was kept filled.Server was very friendly and kept up with all the tables she had. She really kept things cleaned up.Good place to eat and the price was a little better than most. Look for the coupon book and get $5 or $6 off cost.
Gosh. Where do I start. Only good thing was the server. He was great. Calamari was the weirdest thing. I have been eating calamari for 30 years and never have it served looking like steak fries. It was like eating spongy tofu. Gross. Corn on the cob was old and dry. Anything fried just tasted of oil. Just awful and wont be back.
I was leaving town bummed about no good food, when I suddenly stopped here. I walked in and my weekend completely changed. Nice and friendly staff, especially my friendly, kind, Seagull Gentleman Tyler! He was always on top of my needs getting refills and my food quickly. The food was also stellar, my shrimp being the best part. Definitely plan on coming back
Jillian was our server and she was great!! Very on top of our drinks and clearing plates! Crab legs were yummy! Definitely our favorite part! They had a wide assortment of options. Only gave 4 stars because I wish some of the food had a little more seasoning, but that’s a personal preference!
This place is pretty good if your a crab lover as they have AYCE King Crab! It’s 112 dollars but so worth it, less work and more meat. They accept there online coupons. I didn’t have room to try anything else but I’m sure it’s good. Our waiter Steve was nice and paitent. Went at 4 on a Thursday and there was no line. Place was clean and tables are spread out enough to not hear them or bump into one another. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try any stone crab, they said they haven’t received any in a few months.
One of the best seafood buffets ever! They offered vast variety of both hot and cold all you can eat seafood like raw oysters, snow crab legs, clams, mussels, crawfish, etc. The buffet also had delicious prime rib, steaks, and a wide selection of desserts. Unlike other buffets, the crab legs weren’t salty. Best of all, the manager and her staff were so friendly. Our server, Austin, was outstanding. Highly recommend this place. Look for coupons online. Dinner is $47 pp .
Wonderful service excellent food. Love the atmosphere and of clean it was. Well worth the cost which I didnt believe was high for seafood especially all u can eat. Will visit again
Food was good. Ran about $50 a person. Best items were the crab legs, crawfish, mac and cheese (Didnt expect that but it was awesomesalmon was decent. Baklava was good but some weird red sauce on top. Our server was awesome. Only thing didnt really care for was the scallops which are normally my favorite. Hate to think they are stamped fish or ray but too perfect looking and very dense. Maybe if they offered a different style?
