Everybody there is super Friendly and the food is really good the service does take awhile though

Ordered kung pao chicken and fried rice. Kung pao chicken had one pound of celery half a pound of carrots and ounce of chicken. When I called to complain they told me that is how they make kung pao “chicken”. I guess since I was calling from hotel they can sell me celery as chicken. Disgusting is about only word that explains it.

Ordered a dinner for Two ! When i phoned i told her i would like to replace the chicken ball with Butter shrimp & pay the difference she said ok but when we received the order we received chicken balls & no Veg. So i phoned her & she argued with me so i said i won,t buy there again . & She said she doesn,t care . Very Bad Service Stay Away .

Made n order for diner for 3 got something replaced with green pepper steak had 4 pieces of meat the rest was vegetables called back they basically said I was lying...wont do anything about it..will not order from there again wish I could post a picture..

Called for the first time tonight. Whoever took my call didnt even put in an order after much confusion. Their phone kept cutting out, I couldnt understand the person on the phone sounded like they were yelling into the phone from across the room. I work in a busy restaurant so understand hectic but this was beyond bad service. Waited and hour and half and Im still hungry because my order wasnt delivered or even placed

Tried to order Sunday. Called 8 times within half hour. 6 times no answer and 2 times they hung up on me

Review update : I had to change my review because as of late Ive been getting bad service and mediocre food from this restaurant. First of all you dont know if they will pick up the phone. Last two times I tried ordering from here and had to go elsewhere because they never picked up the phone. When they do pick up the phone, I suggest you ask how long the wait time is. Once they said 1:30 and it took 2:30 another time they didnt want to take my order at all. The food used to be good but they seem to always forget something like the chicken ball sauce or won ton soups or egg rolls. Nothing worth going back for when your family is ready to eat. Ive been taking my business elsewhere lately and Ive found a few good places that I think will be my new go-to Chinese food restaurants. The place also needs major renovations: I wouldnt take guests here.

Absolutely disgusting canned food. All the awesome food pictures are fake. The lady who took my order confirmed those pictures are randomly downloaded from Google. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Soup, Noodles etc and everything was tasteless. This is my first negative review of any restaurant. The food was so awful that I feel obliged to let others know to save their money and not get scammed, hence wrote this review.

I have usually been pleased with my orders from Cozy Corner. They make excellent Chinese food, but their customer service is terrible. Several items were missing from my last order, and I called to ask that they send the delivery driver back with the rest of my order. The person who answered the phone yelled at me that she had packed my order, and that I was trying to cheat them or that I need to double check my bag. I am so unsettled from this experience, I will not be ordering from them again.

Worst Chinese food I ever had. Expensive and rice is all dried, chew main is horrible.If you want Chinese food, do not ever waste your money!!!

Very disappointed. My daughter recently had a co-vid friendly wedding and we chose Cozy Corner for a buffet style supper for later. Everything was pre-ordered for convenience. What we received was very disappointing. Everything was cold and you could tell the order had been sitting for some time. The conversation over the the phone was quite challenging and very unprofessional. In the future we will order from another restaurant.

I was surprised the food was good will go back .

We ordered here the other night and the service and food was beyond amazing. They did their absolute best to try and substitute certain items for vegetarian ones and made our experience a great one!Prices were great as well as portion sizes!

Good food, a bit hard to order over phone but Very good food

We were largely ignored at this place. Servers were on the phone most of the time. Seemed more interested in take out customers. Food was ok.

Ordered 2+hours ago. Was told wait was about 1hr.-1:20 . Still nothing, called was told it was in its way. Web site now says its closed. NEVER AGAIN.Finely got my order. Wheeew. Driver said there are 8 delivery drivers, soooo, definitely a kitchen problem.

Best and inexpensive Chinese meal un town. ♡

After having had a horrible experience with the neighbouring London Cafe, we decided to try Cozy Corner. We were not disappointed! Great food and FRIENDLY service!! Will never return to that other place ever again! Cozy Corner is the best place for Chinese food in Timmins!

Ordered win ton soup tastes burnt, egg rolls gross, chicken balls half raw and chicken fried rice hard and shot tasting. Never again will we go to this place... how r they even open. Anyways I got food poisoning. Health unit should visit them

Ordered at 6:04pm was told an hour and when I called to ask if it was on its way after 7:30 was told it wasnt even started yet and might be a nether half hour. When I Expressed my disappointment they offered to cancel my order that they were busy enough that they didnt need my business.

Just ordered from them. Order at 450. Was told 45 mins. Came in at 626. Order has 2 mistakes. Is cold and the soup container is all smashed. Trying to call to get serve and it says customer is not available. Extreamly disappointed.

Dirty and dingy. Waitress was ok. Food not so good.

Fast service and good food

This cozy, small restaurant is near The Senator, and it was my first time there. I had the sweet and sour chicken balls with rice and an egg roll. It was probably the best Chinese food I had in a very long time. The rice is fresh and cooked to perfection, the chicken balls are tender as it should be and the price is very reasonable. Theres a long menu, but so far thats all I had for today and its very good.

The food was great and my girlfriend and I got hammered on house wine.

Food was OK it can pass for the price ....but the young lady I think its the daughter is very very rude thats my only problem with this place

Went there 2 times and both times food was supper hot and came out fast! Just the inside needs serious updating as it looks very old and needs updating, but over all food is great just a bit prices for the amount u get, but very hot and great service.

Came all the way from Ottawa to visit family, tried finding a decent Chinese restaurant in Timmins to deliver from and this is NOT the place. Firstly, when a customer is ordering and doesnt get what you are saying, do not go on saying "I dont know why youre not getting it" just keep explaining! Secondly, we were allowed to change our combo at first, then when I asked for a second item to be changed, we were then charged for the first change we made, AND charged the difference in cost so we didn get the second change ending in us not getting what we actually wanted. To add on to it, our $42 4 dinner meal turned into $46, plus $5.98 for the combo change. So now weve overpaid for their food. Now, for the food. Chicken is plain, white and dry. Chicken fried rice had chicken, rice... Two little pieces of celery. Very boring. The spare ribs we paid extra for were slightly undercooked, hardly even dressed, and looked disgusting. Ive never tasted spare ribs as gross as these! Our food came fast, but COLD. Just do yourself a favour and dont order from here :)
